Online multiplayer desyncs
A friend and I are trying to play this game and we quit frequently run into a game desync error where one of us is staring at the others progress bar to complete and freezes in an unrecoverable state. Even going back to the autosave doesn't dodge the fatal desyncing. Our heroes even appear in differing locations to each others perspectives. The first two nights we played fine and the last one we got it and I happened to have alt tabbed during the game. Could this have caused it? I would appreciate any help offered.

This game is wasted, I have yet to hear of a solution once it happens. Don't think alt-tab plays a role, maybe you had different hamachi versions? Either way..

We just play through the ingame online interface, is there a reason to use hamachi when we've already paid for the game?

That ubi servers suck?  Unless you've been playing a lan.
PS hamachi creates a virtual lan network so it's about the same as playing lan.

Has its flaws but overall it has served me alright.
H5 online has plenty of issues not necessarily tied to ubi servers, often it is hard to tell what's wrong. What happens may also not necessarily happen again or not frequently anyway so it's hard to draw conclusions. At best I can help you recognize some issues but there may not be a definite solution.

I have several channels but don't recall any passwords, have not played in a long while. There isn't one where a lot of players gather if that's what you were looking for, just small friendly groups. Ask around, maybe some of them still play though I really doubt it. Maybe deathy and primus.
