Player Photo Page
Hi everyone the player photo page is updated im still trying to figure out how to split this huge page and give it a new look but it would take a lot of work.
I was thinking of splitting it by country, or by male/female but none of those ideas seem to be good enough and the page looks much more neat when its a huge page with all those pics and the newest ones load up first anyways.

perhaps by season and by country? you could have a season 3 page and then like soild bars with country name seperateing the pictures?

Hey GirlHead, when using the Microsoft Photodraw, you need to save the whole image as a bmp file then convert manually to jpeg, thats why the player photo page intro picture was so blurry when you added the text. I fixed it for you, and enhanced it. Looks much better now, dont overwrite it!

Big problem with this is when rankings change. Could be real pain keeping up with this though dontcha think?

Splitting it by rank is ludicrous.
It would have to change everyday.
Split it by who is the best looking.
That way that pic of Jex will go at the bottom where I won't have to see it.
Just kidding Jex :-)...but go ahead and flame me for that one. I have it coming..lol

Split in alphabetical order according to a player's preferred name.

Maybe ABC order or country would look nice. Mebe have a map of the globe and click on their respective countries. Kinda like the tournament "nations". Maybe someone who lives in the US would is proud of their nationality. You know what you're doing Melissa

alpha split
We used to actually divide all the players listings by alpha before the automation allowed us to search for players. I still have the html for it. It had the griffin background, but that doesn't have to stay on the page. I think the grid would work but the initial setup could take a little while as there would need to be about 27 pages made. Since I still have the html you could basically exchange pictures and comments in place of the writing on the tables. I would do it if I had time but I doubt it is going to happen. Lemme know if you want the pages or they might even be on your machine Melissa.

Still no clearer
In what format do I post the picture/s to you mel? Please help me because I know very little about this and want to get it right when I get a scanner. What resolution is acceptable, how big/small must the pics be? Do you write all the descriptions for the pictures?

Wouldn't it better just splitin the pics by date? It would be simple and wise because people will get the idea of how old was the pic and when it was posted. Also u can get updates on people as they grow older, for example i would like to see how pretty u get in 3 more yrs Mellisa and how big Shae's breast grow in a yr.

Yes, Melissa writes the comments about the pictures. Send her large pictures and they can be resized. Send at high resolution jpg or bitmap, then she can adjust the pics to a good file size and post without too much quality degredation. Bitmaps are best, but jpgs work too. Make absolutely to zip these images when you send or they will be huge files.

YouSmell has the best idea.
That way current players are on top and as you go down it shows the history of the league.
Best of all it is easiest for Mel that way.
Alphabetical would be a nightmare redoing the page everytime someone joined.

I guess what would be easiest would be to have them cronological so by date, so maybe I would put them by different seasons or years or something. Im pretty busy right now to do such a big thing so unless vesuvius can help me it can wait? I still think we could make them into categories like:
'russian players'
'melissa or vesuvius with....'
'european players'
'north american players'
'strange pictures'
or something like that

I think the second group deserves it's own page, especially since they are the many among the few....hehe.
But, seriously.....A main page with links to the seasons sounds good to me.
