Through I am a good guy, my favourite from HoMM is most certainly the evil theme, since I love harpsichord music. After that my no. 2 would be the Conflux theme, and then a tie between Dungeon and Fortress.
I also think that the Neutral theme deserves to be mentioned, as while it's not an epic theme, I do love the feeling I get from it. And [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dFJ2aDN4h2U]this funny little video[/url] featuring it.

I like all HoMM3's musics, but I like Main Menu WoG best. It's ring tone of my mobile .
Town Theme, I like Rampart and Stronghold. When I hear Rampart town, I imagine a pine forest with mountain and sea. And Stronghold town, likes I'm riding on a thunderbird and seeing the region of orcs. I also like the end of Necropolis town, so peaceful .
Terrain theme, I think Grass and Rough are best. And Lava, it's a sad song.
AItheme0, Campaign Music 01-02-06, Win Scenario,....also are good theme.
Soundtracks of HoMM3 are very beautiful!

My favorites:
1. Fortress (easily !). Also my favorite town.
2. Dungeon. Slower, subtler, but perhaps more sinister. More lurking.
3. Inferno. Gets better after the beginning.

Heroes 3 music in general is very good. In some cases Heroes 2 music is better, though. Examples:

This one is haunting.
Also I think Wizard castle in Heroes 2 simply looks better. White walls contrast better with orange rock rather than white snow. There's harmony between things being colorful and too dull.
