Need help with deftool - resizing pcx images
My objective is to resize the creatures, located in h3sprite.lod def file catalog. My first example, let's say, cgobli.def, which is a goblin animation file. I want to resize it. There are 88 pcx images in that cgobli.def file.
First off all how do i extract those 88 pcx images from cgobli.def and how do i see them in deftool?
I first did it wrong - i manually copied the images from cgobli.pcx, resized the pcx images in Photoshop, and then using defmaker 3.5, set all the resized images back to cgobli.def file - saved it. But it did not work.
Tell me how to work with deftool. Imagine you want to resize the creature. Where do you start?

The pcx must be same size as before or the def tool does not accept it (and the game neither). The blue background you see is transparent in game, so all you need is resize the creature, then place the sprite on a 450x400 cyan background. To resize the sprites, you will have to delete the background in every pcx, if you resize all, the background color will bet modified and you will have bad surprise in game.
