In the end, although it's hard to say; Breivik is human, and as a human he has a right to live.
You can't compromise with human rights, they're only worth anything if they're absolute.

Actually, Breivik himself wanted to be executed, because then he would seem more like a martyr. I'm actually for the death penalty in principle, but not in practice.
Anyway, I'd take our justice system any day over being droned to death without a trial or shot to death by a trigger happy police officer for no reason.

It's actually very easy to avoid getting shot by police in America. When they tell you to drop your weapon that's when you drop it.

It is actually very easy to lose temper and any common sense when confronted to extreme stress. Behind my computer and with my tasty coffee nearby I would drop any objects I have in hands, I swear. But those people we see in the videos don't, do you believe they are suicidal at such point?

"suicide by cop" happens all the time. A fellow about a block away pointed his AK-47 at the police when they came by and recieved about 5 bullets out of a shower of 15. Strangely enough he's still alive.
I was wrong though, avoiding getting shot by the police is actually easier than how I described in my previous post. When you first glimpse a police officer, that's when you drop your weapon.

Depends on the cop. They may still be in service even if they are raging. There has been examples of cops shooting people in the back, merely for walking by.
