SUPERHUMANS (OOC)
This is the final installment in my RP trilogy that started with Supervillains and continued with Superheroes. All people from past RPs in this are welcome of course, as are new players, who I encourage to join heavily. If you need to catch up, there are the other 2 in the archives you can look at. I'm not summarizing it all.
This takes place about a year after the events of Superheroes. During the time in between the 2 chapters, Rex,Xion, and Felix have been slowly gaining power and taking control of New Constantinople, albeit in different ways. Most of the low-grade villains have been flocked to Felix, while Rex has developed extremely advanced warmachines and Xion is working with his small group instead. With the corrupt NC government in shambles and not able to take control of the situation, the most powerful governments of the world have decided to take action by sending in groups of highly trained specialists to analyze and attempt to defuse the situation before it gets out of hand. Having the largest concentration of these superhumans, people from all across the world have joined these teams in order to investigate this phenomenon in New Constantinople. However, the most powerful countries that are interested in this project (United States, European Confederation, Russia, China, and Iran) have begun working on finding ways to turn this to their own advantage through different ways...
Normal RP rules apply. No god-playing, no overpoweredness, play fair and have fun. If you want to add something new to this, make sure to patch it through to me. Add your character to this with a charactersheet something like this.
Now I shall introduce one of your antagonists, who had a small appearance in Supervillains briefly.
Name: Cyrus Leonard Walsh
Alias: The Hunter
Age: 28(physically, but has actually lived for about 10,000 in limbo time)
Appearance: Is tall, lean, and muscular. Has medium length unkempt hair and a bit of light facial hair of light brown. His skin is rather pale, but not extremely. Has violet eyes. He typically wears a black-panama hat (like Rorschach's hat), a heavy long coat, and black light body armor (of cutting edge tech), and a protective tactical mask that he can easily pull up from under his collar.
Background: Cyrus was a human that was infused with the powers of light by the Titans so could hunt down and kill the superhumans that murdered and raped his sister. After fulfilling his goal of retribution, he was enslaved by the Titans for eternal service. And then they disappeared. He woke up one day in the time period he was in last in the place he was last. He then remembered everything of his past life which had been denied to him by the Titans for so long. Though he lost the powers they gave him, he still had the experience of dealing with superhumans as well as his hatred for them. His goal is the complete eradication of Superhumans and the Catalyst.
Powers: None, though it is often thought that luck is always on his side.
Abilities and Perks: His years of experience as the servant of the Titans grants him great intuition and an uncanny precision in everything he does. He is also at the peak of physical human fitness and his plans always seem to come out flawlessly.
Weapons: A set of throwing knives, a Desert Eagle handgun, a Sniper Rifle, and a combat knife.
Join up everybody! I want to end this with as a big a bang as possible!

Alright, o I'll be bringing back Melony and Miasma, who have been living at Ouroboros's secret getaway this entire time. G9 is also coming back, though it no longer works with/ for Xion. In fact, G9 no longer works in the country. I'll write how in the bios when I make them... but not tonight. Done too much RPing tonight...

Appearance:

Background: G9 was an experiment created in the super-powers arms race in project "Equalizer," a project that sought to negate the powers of super humans by creating beings or generators who drained the powers of supers. the project was ultimately a failure, as supers eventually regained their powers, and when it was destroyed by the supervillain Archon it was not continued, but before its destruction, Project Equalizer created a brood of creatures who fed on the powers of superheroes...
Only two survive this day. The more powerful one, the one that has always been the greater of the two and the youngest, is G9. G9 was once allied with the supervillain Xion, but left for reasons of its own. It seeks to combine with its lesser, Miasma, and to subjugate it while also combining with Miasma to make a more powerful being, one who requires no host no matter what happens to it. To achieve this goal, the girl known as Melony must die or be subjugated herself, though preferably the former than the latter. She has slighted G9 of its goal time and again, knowingly or not, and has broken the union not once, but twice. G9 and Miasma were used in a second project, called project Immortal. The test was to see whether or not a human could survive as a host for two beings to become a walking death weapon, unstoppable on any field of battle by anything less than an army of supers. They succeeded once, before the project was shut down. The product was perfect, but the little girl they had tested it on had become something... inhuman. Something in between human and their experiments that shattered the perfect union. It also gave birth to the creatures G9 and Miasma as conscious beings, and the scientists were afraid that they could never control their creation. Subject "Melony" was sent into a stasis, and Miasma and G9 went their separate paths. They re-formed in the second supers war, only to be split by the same girl.
The scientists who made it were right, G9 cannot be controlled. It will not allow a pathetic human - or half breed filth - stop it, never again! It will become a god, no matter the consequences! As shown in the second villain war, force will not work to further this goal, at least, not direct force. So guile will have to do. The destruction of the Titans brought opportunity in the form of individuals and artifacts who have whispers of the Immortal's powers, usually they are nothing more then slightly-charged super-soldiers, most of the supers form the wars could eradicate a good deal of those found, but there was one boy who might be... useful. So G9 made a following in the priesthood, possessing a high bishop and calling these people and bearers of artifacts the Chosen of God and Bearers of Light. They are fed propaganda against the "Vile, rising darkness" and have been sent to hunt out Melony and Miasma, while the whole time G9 pulls the strings...
Powers: May possess any one normal human host to hide itself. While it is "infecting" a human, G9 heals its wounds rapidly and cannot be targeted by physical attacks. It can bend the shadows and darkness into a weapon, armor, shield, etc. Its body it insubstantial darkness, and its already impressive abilities are enhanced at night or in absolute darkness, though it also becomes solid and vulnerable to weapons when it is empowered like this. G9 drains the powers of naturally born super-heroes to temporarily raise its own strength greatly, or add to its permanent power slowly. the closer a super is, the greater the drain (Usually, touching the super will completely drain him/ her of their powers for a few hours).
Weapons: None needed.

Alias: Seraph
Age: 16
Appearance:This Including the wings and blade. He also has a cross hanging from a chain on both sleeves.
Background: Drake is a strange lad. Born to a wealthy British family and given what he wanted, Drake never felt happy. Every day since his tenth birthday, he tried to find and help someone in the city who was suffering from poverty, sickness, disease or some other kind of harm, and he used his parent's vast fortune to do so. Still, the people suffered, and the weight of his parents' constraints prevented Drake from helping those in need. When father Geofried came to him, looking for one who showed potential in the way of the Lord, Drake volunteered to go to him. How could you help the down trod better than from, "The temple of the almighty and everlasting God?" When he went for testing, the Father's results were spectacular. Of all those who could use the instruments of the light or who were born as the Chosen of God, Drake was the most powerful. Drake joined the Chosen that day, leaving behind his parents and becoming a champion of the weak. He was given the name of the most powerful angel-protectors for his potential, Seraph. Seraph is dedicated to his cause until his death, he has sworn to fight the darkness and evil that plagues mankind, and any of its servants or propagators.
Seraph is deceived. He fights the enemies of G9, no more and no less. He is the leader of the fifty chosen, though, and he has a strong sense of right, wrong good and evil, even if it has been twisted by project equalizer's greatest success... and mistake.
Powers: Drake can make wings for himself out of his innate ability to bend light, giving him limited flight/ hover abilities. He can create walls of light, heal with his touch and disintegrate solid matter with concentrated beams of light. His healing powers do not work on himself, and he is as powerful as Miasma in its weakened state.
Weapons: His greatsword, his crosses allow him to visualize and tap into his innate powers (eventually he will not need them), he also has a pistol for last-ditch efforts.

Name: Vladimir Mikhailovich "Vlad" Alujev
Alias(es): Blackbeard, Razor, Red Devil, The Bear
Looks: His appearance hasn't changed since the events in Supervillains.
Age:87 looks however as 45.
Side: Neutral (or the highest bidder)
Powers: stopped physical aging, exceptional strenght, agility and reflexes. Vlad, due to his special organs is immune to any type of biological or chemical weapons. Has high immunity to radiation. Bone structure is about 3-5 times stronger than that of an average man. His ribcage is now a one solid bone to offer better protection to the most vital organs. He has two hearts to ensure better blood streaming through the body. This means that Vlad can't be tired out so easily. Is trained to use any type of weapon.
Weaknesess: though a supersoldier, without a proper protection he can be as vulnerable as any other man. Though a high caliber explosive ammo or any other hi-tech weaponry is a must to take him out.
Personality/traits: Commonly a gentle giant Vlad tends to be precise and quick when it comes to jobs. He's used to give a fatherly advice to his younger comrades, and never leaves his battle brothers in trouble- a trait which he learned from his father, a WWII hero

Name: Lena Natalievna Alujeva
Alias: Black Sable
Age: 46(looks as 26)
Appearance: Like this. The goggles are a part of her casual wear, which consist of black slightly baggy pants, black and white sneakers a T-shirt and a leather jacket. the eyegear in this pic, is a complex optics device.
Powers and Abilities: Same enhancements that Vlad has(except for the ones that The Doctor made during the Supervillains) and weapon training(more or less) has a robotic Evolon Battle Hound(as seen in the pic) as extra muscle and armor.
Background: Will RP out
Personality: She has a fiery character and can be angered quickly(esspecially if you try to hit on her), however she ocasionally shows traits that are in Vlad's character. Doesn't believe in skirts or dresses.
Other: She owns a trained sable named Koshka(Cat) which is often used to steal keys and similiar small objects.

Name: Jack Kane
Appearance: 5.10 tall, 80-100kg, muscular appearance, eyes have been cut out, doesn't favor any specific style of clothing, shaved head and no facial hair, slightly tanned skin and slightly scorched at the back/left of his neck. Kane has scars as if he has been crucified.
Background: Kane was abused as a child, being moved around between foster homes. At the age of 13 he blew up the house of his current abusive foster-parents. He grew up fighting, drinking, using drugs and screwing around until an age of 20. He then started working as an assassin, retrieval expert, pickpocket and con artist. Working his way through the underworld his name got well known. He was a major player in the fight against both Zero and The Doctor, but disappeared during an explosion and was not seen again until he broke out of an underground lab just before the Second War. During this time he directed his attention mostly at the protection of a young woman, not taking a very large part in the war itself. He was blinded and nearly killed by G9 and was not seen since.
Age: 30
Powers: Bat-like sonar, he can vision the surrounding area. Superhuman speed, strength and reflexes. Regeneration. Skeleton is infused with a near unbreakable metal. He can sense the presence of other living beings and if people are supers or not.
Skills: Master of several martial arts, talented with any weapon, great shooter. Brilliant tactician.
Weaknesses: Kane is blind and is also a much weaker combatant than most other supers, though he will be nearly indestructible if faced by normal humans. Not resistant to fire and explosions. Has a broken nano earplug implemented behind his right ear which can still be traced by Mallard.
New notable stuff: Kane is now a vigilante. He will gladly fight cops if challenged, but mainly seeks out to exact vengeance the way he deems necessary himself. Does not consider himself an outlaw. Is not very social anymore.

Name: Rex Mallard
Aliases: The Admiral (Rarely used anymore, Rex hates to be called this), The Don of the Machine-Mob, The Machine God (referred to as this by his minions)
Age: Hardly matters anymore.
Appearance: Rex appearance differs from time to time and depends on what he has attached to himself. By this time, only 25% of his body is still human, the rest are robotic prosthetics.
Background: Rex became known to the world at large as an hugely skilled mechanic and weaponsdeveloper for the American Navy. However after he was dishonorably discharged, he became malignant to the world at large. As the super-criminal known as the Admiral, he and his weapons and mechs became a great threat to industry and the military. During the Supervillain War, Rex lost his hand and replaced it with a robotic one. At the end, Rex awoke his latent technopathy due to over exposure to EMP-radiation. Ever since, Rex has been "upgrading" himself and building himself a robotic army.
Personality: Rex suffers from paranoid and anti-social personality disorder. Rex is a great believer in Brute Force and the idea that if it isn't working, you aren't using enough. Together with his ideas of social darwinism, he is a threat to anyone he is around. He is very bigotted, but surprisingly trustworthy. Rex is true to his word to the end and will do whatever he can to keep it. However his many flaws and his hard negotiation skills make dealing with Rex troublesome at best.
Power: Technopathy. Rex can command any form of technology with only his mind. In fact, his technopathy is parasitic and it will often completly take over whatever it is he is commanding and that around it. (Rex is able to boost his power by hooking his brain up to one or more computers and most of the time he functions as a hivemind for his androids) + Rex robotic body is very well matched agains people with super-powers.
Weapons: Highly advanced guns and other balistic weapons. Most of those wielded by his private andriod army.
Weaknesses: Bad health. What is left of Rex body in in a terrible state and needs daily medical attention and regular surgery. (Most of his organs have been replaced at least once.) Due to this, he keeps a personal physician around at all times, Dr. Desiree Violet and he keeps her just as well protected as he keeps himself.
Note: Ever since he has awoken his Technopathy, Rex rarely does anything in person anymore. Rex hides somewhere, though nobody knows where. Most of his dealings are done by his army of Androids.

Why not? Been awhile since I've participated in one. Hope this is a good start and not too overpowered. Kind of a funny approach to a character since I really do not like mushrooms...

Name: Samuel Kale
Aliases: Kale, Freak, Bum, Crazy Kale, Moldy Old Man.
Appearance: 5'4", 130 lbs. Resembles a homeless man on bad days and a bum on good days. His brown hair has a dark green tint to it. He wears a shabby brown trench coat he found at a thrift store and a black scarf he keeps as a memento from his lost love. He appears to be in his early 50s but he is actually much younger. A strange fuzz grows on most parts of his body.
Age: 34
Background: Samuel Kale used to live a relatively normal life. He grew up in an atomic family, played soccer in high school, and attended college. At the age of 28, he received his doctorate in Mycology and began working for a corporate lab. He was tasked with exploring the medical benefits of fungi as well as creating more disease-resistant strains of yeast, molds, and mushrooms. While working in his lab, he met his future wife, Juliet. After a year, the two wed and life was good.
After a few years on the job, the mission statement changed to weaponization of molds, yeasts and fungi. While not overly thrilled with the change in course, Kale continued on with his research. Unfortunately, this drew the ire of a rival corporation, who hired a bunch of mercenaries, in the disguise of protesters, to destroy the facility.
Kale didn't think twice of the morning demonstration as he walked to work May 5 with his wife. Demonstrations were a part of daily living and it did not appear different from the others. That changed when a bullet struck his wife in the back of the head, killing her instantly. Kale panicked and fled into his research facility. The protesters followed and sent dozens of bullets after the terrified researcher. Kale ducked and weaved through the rooms, dodging bullets by inches. Ribbons of red wept from Kale as glass vials and jars shattered, exposing him to countless types of eukaryotic organisms. Still, he managed to elude his aggressors and hid in a closet. Frustrated, but determined, the pursuers set fire to the building and left. Kale barely managed to escape the closet in time and jumped out of a window on the second floor. His body was discovered by one of the attackers but Kale's countless cuts, third degree burns, and broken limbs convinced him he was dead.
He wasn't.
Three days later in a quiet city morgue, Samuel Kale awoke to the horrifying sight of his wife's punctured head staring at him. He screamed but was not heard. He fell off a metal slab and wept in his hands. That's when he noticed they were fine. The cuts were healed, the burns had faded, and his bones had knit. That's when he also discovered the green, gray, and brown fuzz-like substance growing all over his body. That's when his mind broke.
When the coroner returned from his lunch, he discovered his morgue had been destroyed by gowned man. Angrily, he demanded answers and screamed for the guards. A trembling Kale managed to restrain himself and tried to plead with the man. He asked what had happened, why he was alive, what time it was; all to no avail. When the police arrived, they turned their guns on Kale and demanded his surrender. Terrified, Kale put out his arms and begged them not to shoot.
That's when Kale unwillingly became a killer.
Thousands of microscopic spores freed themselves from Kale's outstretched arms and entered the lungs of the coroner and guards. Within in seconds, they started to choke and thrash, as if having seizures. The coroner died immediately while the two guards writhed in agony as mycolic organisms started growing on and erupting from under their skin. They were dead within minutes. More terrified than ever, Kale took a last, tearful look at his wife and fled. Since that day, Samuel Kale has been a hunted man.
Powers: Kale's body is the host of thousands of micoorganisms that manifest as yeasts, molds, and fungi. He can release spores when angry or threatened and the results are very dangerous and can be lethal to organics. He can grow food, create medicine, and use his spores to hijack other organisms. He also has the ability to break his body down completely into spores and travel on the wind. This power is horribly taxing on his body and the reconfiguration process takes about two weeks to complete. His body has more in common with a fungus than it does with a human at this point. He can regenerate, albeit slowly, from severe trauma. It is unknown if he can survive death again.
Weaknesses: Due to the lab incident, Kale suffers greatly from pyrophobia and will almost lock-up at the sight of fire. Even worse, since he is more fungi than man, he is extremely vulnerable to fire. Additionally, also due to the lab incident, Kale has suffered unknown mental damage and is prone to psychotic outbursts. Finally, Kale's powers do not work on inorganic materials.
Personality: Highly unstable, withdrawn, and psychotic. Approach with caution. When medicated, he can appear somewhat normal.
Skills and Weapons: Possesses vast knowledge in the realms of biology, chemistry, and specializes in mycology. He also has a better than normal understanding of pharmaceutical products and general medicine. He does not have much of an ability to fight and does not carry any weapons.

Yeah sounds good, but lower the lethality of the spore attack thingy and raise some defensive bonuses as compensation.

Name: Xion
Alias: Jack Redfox
Background: Xion was born in poverty, and as a kid he learned the art of stealing and gang fighting. Quite often, Xion would find himself in though situasions and he was often beaten up and went hungry, but the life on the street just thoughen him up. However, when the small "gang" he belonged to was completely crushed by another gang or arrested by the police, Xion was on the brink of death. It was about then he met Morte, a mad scientist who he later would learn was a renowed "super villain"(this character was made by berny). Morte offered Xion a choice, to keep living on the street and most likely die, or to come with him and become a pioneer into science. Xion chose the later of the two options, and like that, Xion took his first steps on the road to villainy.
In Morte's lab, Morte ran a lot of experiments on Xion trying to see if he had any form of special powers or something. Xion was not all to bright back then and didn't understand all of it, but Morte started educating him, teaching him how to read and write and the basics of math. One day however, by pure coincidence, Morte found out that Xion had a special power; The power to see other supers. It was pure coincidence that one they while they were out walking, Xion had stopped pointed on a man up on a roof and said "That man can fly!" and to Morte's great surprise, the man did jump from the roof and start flying as well. Morte had asked the kid how he'd know the man would fly, and the Xion said "He have wings, of course he could fly." These wings that Xion talked about however, did not exist, for only Xion could see them.
Then came the day when Morte decided to use Xion as a test subject for his nanobot technology, and he implanted him with nanobots that were to strengthen him in all attributes. The experiment was a success, something Morte could see from Xion's rapid growth in both strength and speed, as well as Xion suddenly becoming sharper, brighter and more easily learnable than usual. Some years would pass with Morte improving these nanobots and developing them even further, before the great change came. The great change, was the of a hero named the Dueler, who now had turned into a super villain named 'Zero'. Zero had the ability to predict the future, and he had seen his own death and started fearing for his own life. Because of this, Zero got the idea that he could use nanobots to lengthen his own lifespan. So he went to another expert on nanobots(Morte) and the two made a deal. With two of the greatest geniuses working together on one science project, the nanobot technology rocket blaster into the sky, and it did not take long before the two found a way to make nanobots slow the aging rate. At this point however, Morte had grown tired and fearful of Zero and had decided to kill him, but Zero was already four steps ahead of him and personally killed Morte. Or so Xion and the world believed.
With Morte "dead", Xion was left alone full of nanobots which now were vital to his life. So to be able to maintain, upgrade and improve the nanobots inside of himself, he started studying nanobot technology full time. Thanks to the improved physical abilities he had gotten thanks to the nanobots, he robbed a few banks to get the money he needed for school, life and the corporation Nanotech which he later founded.
But life did not stay merry forever, because the police that was investigating the bank robberies he had done to earn his start money was almost onto him, so something had to be done. Xion decided to "sell" his company to a man named Jack Redfox before he himself would run off. This Jack Redfox however, was only a clever disguised Xion using the nanobots to alter his looks. Thus started a grand new double life for Xion, as he would switch between being the 'law following' polite 'english gentleman' Jack Redfox, and the infamous underworld hitman, assassin and murderer, "Xion the Crimson Deathsong". Indeed, Xion felt like he had found the brother which he never had in his new double life as these two characters, where he finally could his life full of all the things he found fun and pleasing.
Much later, Xion got invited to a party at Zero's mansion. At the party, he and some fellow colleagues got involved in on a little game of cat and mouse with two superheros known as Inferno and Sidewinger. The villains were to chase the two heroes and kill them before the end of October.
Xion personally found the game to be enjoyable, and together with a teenage girl prown to psychopathic behavior, he murdered every known relative and friend(exageration) of fameous superhero Inferno, but the two did not however get the superhero himself.
However, to everyone's great surprise(and Xion's irritation) the game turned out to be a scam play set in motion by the very much alive Morte! With a promise to battle Inferno after killing Morte, Xion ganged together with fellow supervillains as well as a few superhumans and superheroes to kill Morte and take back control over their own lives, saving the city of New Constantinopel in the same strike(This event was struck from Xion's resumé afterwards.).
After the so called "Supervillain war" Jack Redfox was killed by Iratus Virgo, a former victim of Xion's villainy, who most likely killed Jack for his questionable connection to Xion. After that event Xion disappeared, and the databank in all his known hideouts were stripped when the police arrived. Since then nobody heard a word about Xion for at least a year, when it would become apperant to a group of superheroes that Xion was fully active, pulling the strings on some events during "The Second Supervillain war."
During said War, Xion was not really all that directly active, with the exception of pulling the strings of the heroes, pointing them in the direction of Xion's biggest obstacle: Ouroboros and Rex Mallard. While the heroes were busy doing what heroes do best, Xion decided to make contact with some old Supervillains of old; Namely Frenzy, who Xion broke out of a high security prison, and Archon, who might or might not have allied with Xion(It was left kind of hanging in the air.).
Now Xion is working from the shadows, having secretly unleashed his ultimate weapon: Project Nanohive on the city of New Constantinopel, which is Xion's personal "testing ground". What Xion truly is after remains a mystery, but one thing is clear: He is one of the most dangerous individuals alive on the planet, equaled only(in his own eyes) by his "only" colleage Rex Mallard.
Physical Appearance: Xion is yellow eyed with semi long ragged blond-brown hair. He his about 1,83 and is muscular(not the huge bulky type of muscular). He acts quite psychotic and often dress in black leather longcoats and black military boots which are often stained in blood. As Xion, he can keep grinning in even the thoughest situasions and loves the smell of blood, sweat, fighting and death. He also have a habbit of breaking into songs as he fight.
Jack Redfox is a man with short black hair and blue eyes, he also have a two scars on his face, one going horisontally on his chin and the other in a slash over his nose. He often wear comfortable cloths that are always clean, and he is a nice and calm person who is quite intelligent and knows alot about robots and science.
Age: Unknown, being injected with Nanobots slowed his aging process insanly. Even thou it's way over thirty years since he was injected with it, he still looks like he is in his mid-twenties.
Powers: The only power he was originally born with was the power to detect and sense other supers. While originally this power was weak, it has in later years grown, whether this is a result of natural growth or Xion experimenting with himself is a mystery. While it before was only rarly able to guess another person's superpower upon first meeting, it now is an almost 50% chance of revealing a super to Xion upon first meeting them. Xion is also able to "sense" the present of supers if they are close by him, and if it is supers he has already met, then he can even differ them from each other.
The other power Xion has is the full control over Nanobots he has created. While it was slow before, him having to specifically program them and such, it is now more powerful as most of his brain has been replaced with nanobots. Therefore he has now complete control over the nanobots. What does he use this power for? Materalizing weapons, armour and other such objects whenever he needs. As well as regenerating his own body. He also can make the nanobots "eat" stuff so that they may use the material to create more of themselves as well as replicas of what they eat. Xion also has a battlesuit which he equips whenever he needs. This battlesuit is preprogrammed for combat and goes on a "auto-pilot" whenver in combat, making Xion a faux Material arts master. Xion's body is however not used to the strain of the moves the battlesuit makes him do, and thus using it would in the end damage himself. The battlesuit is also equipped with other weapons such as guns and electrical wires that he uses to shock his enemies.
Xion was also once a patient of The Doctor, back when Xion's life was in grave danger. On top of saving Xion's life, the Doctor improved Xion's body, making him faster and stronger, as well as implanting some steel to protect Xion's inner organs. His strength and speed is nowhere near the level of Jack Kane and Vladimir Mikhailovich "Vlad" Alujev however.
Added a new paragraph to Xion's background. Now we're off to the crazy house which hopefully does not contain any God creatures or such 
Also rewrote his powers description. It explains what "power-ups" Xion has gotten throughout the years.

Name: Melony Fletcher
Age: 27
Background:
A small girl was used in project Immortal with four other subjects. Because of her youth, and rather good physical and mental health, two year old subject "MELONY" was the only survivor of the chosen child soldiers. the young girl was able to handle two of the being created in project Equalizer in her body at once, though she broke them apart and they became sentient beings. "Melony" herself was transformed from a human into a human and experimental being hybrid. The scientists feared that they could not control any of their three creations, so they tried to contain them. The new entity called G9 thoroughly purged "Melony" and Miasma's memories of their entire life to that point before separation and subject "Melony" was sent into stasis. Years later, she was found by scavengers and awakened...
A youth growing up in the suburbs of Minnesota, Melony Fletcher never saw or heard about super heroes or villains. She left her small home to move to the city for college, she also moved to a different country, namely France. To prepare her for city life, her parents put her through three different martial arts and self defense courses. Unfortunately, these practices in physical defense did not protect her from the psychic assault of the shadow that has possessed her. It's name is Miasma. Really, the spirit just wants to be left alone, and so left Melony in control of her own body. She didn't even notice it was there until weeks had passed since her possession. Miasma gets its name from its innate ability to poison the powers of supers around its host body, rendering its host immune to most super powers. They forged a bond closer than most husbands and wives feel, and were inseparable.
But even that came to an end. In the second supers war, Melony and Miasma were separated by the villain/ hero Ouroboros, and Melony was forced to rely on her re-awakening powers. She was kidnapped from her friend and protector Jack Kane and the Commissar, a hero from Europe, while fighting a two way battle with Archon and Rex Mallard's robotic killbots. She turned Ouroboros from Villain to Hero while she was his prisoner, and was the reason why he was able to oppose the Titans, whom Ouroboros destroyed at the cost of his own life. Shortly after, Melony was critically wounded by G9 and rejoined with Miasma, and, together again, the pair went into hiding, in Ouroboros's secret place, emerging only long enough to search for Kane before disappearing again. For one full year, Melony fought against an infection that would have killed any normal human from the wound that G9 gave her, and that has permanently scarred her.
Melony's memories are starting to come back to her, in dreams and daydreams. G9 could not erase them entirely, and as she learns more, Melony becomes less and less the innocent, naive girl she was, and more of the soldier she was created to be...
Physical Appearance:
Average height and build, leaning slightly toward the thin side. Melony has black, shoulder length loose hair and green eyes. Her skin is pail, as if he has been recently sick. Melony's eyes glow a black-purple when her or Miasma's powers activate. She has a nasty scar on her middle from G9 and small ones along her arms and face from Mallard's mortars. Melony is still rather attractive.
Powers:
An impenetrable mind shield and resistance to non-physical attacks as well as control over shadows equal to Miasma's (about half as powerful as Miasma was before). She heals faster than normal humans, recovering from mortal wounds with little more than a scar to mark them, though it does take time to do so.
Skills:
No longer able to run for a few minutes, she is still very fast over short distances. Melony can speak French and English fluently. She has understanding of and learns technological advancements quickly, mainly in the robotic (including nanobot) tech.
Weaknesses:
Physically, she is very weak, sickened from the infection of the wound given to her from G9's assault, she has little physical stamina. She doesn't have much money or very many contacts to help her.
Personality:
Melony is merciful, kind, sunny and generally easy to get along with. She is loyal to her friends to a fault, though she is somewhat still unworldly and naive. She hates to see injustice go unpunished, but she will not bend or break the law too much to see that justice comes to those who deserve it.
Name:Miasma.
Age: Old.
Background:
Miasma is the first great success of the project started in the cold war called "Equalizer." It was a project started by the Americans and their allies to poison and eradicate the Soviet supers, and a project to create a new breed of super-soldiers. Made of many different genetic materials, Miasma has the consistency of liquid shadows and is about as solid. For all intents and purposes, the scientists created a mindless superhero hunter, for Miasma was created without any self-awareness. That came later, when it was combined with Melony in the second project that it was used in, project Immortal. Combined with subject "G9", the fusion, named Griel by the project lead, was fused to a child who would be raised into the prefect, invincible soldier by the American military. They called her subject "Melony," and she was the only survivor of four from the union between two Equalizers and a single human host.
The fusion worked perfectly, if a bit unstably, for a week. Unbeknownst to the scientists, that week was spent with the birth of two new entities whose mere presence was enough to rewrite Melony's genetic code. When the scientists found out, G9 had gained the upper hand over its host and Miasma and it was starting to secure its dominion over both, but all three were separated by force and it had to settle for wiping Miasma and Melony's memories. the scientists tried to destroy Miasma and G9, but Miasma linked itself to all of them at once, so that they would have to kill themselves to kill it. The scientists wimped out. Archon did the job for them, killing not only all but one scientist, but freeing G9 and killing all the Equalizers except Miasma and G9, who drained Archon dry and made a hasty escape.
Miasma discarded its host, an old, fat and unhealthy man, and took on a new, younger host. This girl was killed by Ouroboros, and then Miasma met Melony. Stealthily joining with her, Miasma began to open up to its new host, and the two became inseparable friends, though neither realized that they had once been a single entity many years ago. Miasma was forced to leave Melony by Ouroboros, and then was ambushed by G9, who re-absorbed Miasma for a short time. Together, they walked the world as an unstoppable near-god, powerful enough to defeat any single foe that stood in their way. But Miasma struggled against G9's control, and eventually broke free. Miasma was wounded while protecting Melony from a servant of the Titans, and eventually it rejoined with its best friend.
Appearance:
ThisIts wounds sometimes leave holes whenever it forms protective armor around Melony.
Powers:
Power level cut in half since the last RP, Miasma is still formidable. It can create armor for its host, create blades and spears of darkness, and it can jump from host to host, and "infect" up to three humans close to itself. It can detect and drain superpowers to empower itself. While possessing a host, it cannot be harmed physically.
Skills:
It really doesn't have to many. ... It can read? being a living shadow doesn't open oneself up to such things as hobbies very well.
Weaknesses:
It is weakened since the last RP. Sometimes now, the shadow attacks and defenses fail and leave holes, where Melony would be vulnerable. It is linked to its host, if Melony were to die, so would Miasma. Spreading itself to multiple hosts weakens Miasma's powers, and makes the gaps rather allot larger in its defenses. Miasma requires a host to survive for periods longer than a week.
Personality:
Distrustful, spiteful and jealous, Miasma does not like interacting with most humans. Melony and Jack Kane are the only two real exceptions. It's love for and loyalty to Melony are limitless, and it has a respect and shaky trust for Kane, and will tolerate him if Melony tells it to. Miasma is a loner, and would really just like to be left alone.

As I am unfamiliar with this one, I will be quite happy to change my character etc, if you see fit. I won't post until your 'okay'.
Here's my offering:-
Name: Lara O'Brien
Age: 20
Background: Lara is the youngest daughter of a successful Irish businessman, Paddy O'Brien and his American Socialite wife, Carina Douglas-O'Brien. Lara's father is a self made multi millionaire who married into one of the wealthiest New York families. Lara has lived a privileged and charmed life. Thoroughly spoilt by a succession of nannies and governesses and minders. Yet she was neglected by her highly socially motivated parents. She spent her first two years cared for by a succession of nannies on her parents caribbean island and never even saw her mother until she was over two years old. She was given all the opportunities that go with extreme wealth excelling at track sports at her elite boarding school and training as a ballerina. She also did well academically despite struggling with dsylexia. She threw herself into her studies and ballet, having two teachers that provided her with the parental caring she so desperately needed.
Lara had become extremely withdrawn in her teenage years, causing her guardian to be concerned and report to Lara's family. Rather than put themselves out to assist their daughter, Lara was then hospitalized and heavily medicated, at times being left catatonic. Her family, embarassed at her drugged behavior began to have her hidden from their social circle and then isolated permanently. This lasted for a year from aged 15 to 16, only ending after they forgot her medication and Lara began to talk again. Lara was then sent to England to finish her education at a highly prestigious public boarding school.
Lara has never forgiven her family for her treatment and her anger has slowly simmered for many years. Once Lara's powers eventually manifested themselves, she was unable to turn to her family for help, they recoiled from her and basically ostracised her completely.
Appearance: Normal appearance (before transformation) long pale wavy auburn hair, green eyes, delicate features. Tall, pale coloring. Athletic due to training as a ballerina. (At transformation - Lara's eyes turn blood red and is surrounded by a faintly crackling aura of static electricity.
Powers: Lara has untapped and uncertain telekinetic abilities, but so far these only surface when she is stressed or panicked. Her senses are now also highly elevated because of this. She can move huge objects, weighing several tons, and throw them, and cause buildings to collapse. Her telekinetic abilities are incredibly powerful yet untrained.
Skills: Lara is a skilled negotiator, having witnessed her father during his many diplomatic visits. She has in inate ability to sense people's true feelings, which helps her to 'read' them.
Weaknesses: Lara has no control over her abilities yet. Unable to control them she can accidentally cause massive injuries, even death. Her telekinetic abilities also cause issue as the slightest annoyance can cause items to crash/explode/smash etc. Her telekinetic abilities cause physical stress and pain (i.e. nosebleeds, fainting). She is vulnerable whilst unchanged and has no superhuman protection during this time. Lara has no psychic ability, she cannot read minds.
Personality: Lara is now alone in the world and very frightened. She is frightened of herself and what she can do and of the world she has never had any experience of. Yet inside she is strong. Lara is emotionally detached, due to hardly having any contact with her parents or her two much older socialite sisters. She can appear cold, distant and alarmingly aloof. However, despite her shallow and rich upbringing, Lara is a deeply caring and sensitive young woman. She is desperate to find somewhere and something to belong to.
