Some creatures need a downgrade
Unupgraded versions of some creatures looks too powerful. take the sentinel for example. So I think they need a downgrade. Likewise some upgraded versions don't look powerful enough so I think they need a 2nd upgrade. wouldn´t it be nice if we would get one extra version of each creature in an expansion?

I am talking about the visual aspect of the creatures, not the sats. Needed to say this just to be sure you guys know what I mean with this.

There are no weak creatures in the game (lore-wise, at least)
so it makes sense for them to look "powerful".
And if they decide to implement the "alternate upgrade mechanic" from H5, then they better come up with some real names and not generic Mauler/Clubber.

The lore isn't very clear on how creatures "look" it is up to BH to decide how they actually look. Aslo, things can be added to the lore as they did with the Sanctuary faction. When you think about it critically it dosn't make sense if you had powerful looking creatures at the start of the game when you are just beginning to build your town. As the town grows the creatures should get more powerful.

I am not talking about the "alternate upgrade mechanic" Let's take an example of an idea I have about this system: You start the town at rank 1 and you have access to the basic and upgraded level of your core creatures(you still need to buy and upgrade their dwellings). Then you upgrade your town to rank 2. You now have access to master level for two(or one(I haven't decided yet)) of your core creatures of your choose as well as basic and upgraded level of your elite creatures. Same with rank 3 than you have access to master level for two(one) of your elite creatures of your choose as well as basic and upgraded level of your champion creatures. I havent decided yet about rank 4 but maybe Tear of Asha would unlock the master level of the champion creatures.

So there would be three levels of creatures? Welcome back, HOMM2 dragons... But seriously, that would be a cool idea, if it was possible to balance. As is is, right now there is too little time to actually implement the idea before the game release date, so it will be put on a shelf until a later date.
I also have no problem with creatures looking awesome at all times.

The nagas were not added later, the lore already included them.

I know, but was the creatures(individual) from the Sanctuary faction in the lore?

Since the lineup was created by BH probably so. Even assuming they were faithful to ubi's original vision, they must have added a number of touches.

When I think about this it sounds very good.

IMO 3 levels is just too few, 4 would be better.

I think the contrary. Cores and Elites are just as they should be. But Champions are really weak for champions. They should get more powerful. They have around 50 damage. And this is very low.

I disagree. So much damage combined with the amount of champions you get weekly will make elite and core units obsolete in late game.
