If this works, then it's not a bug but a standard NAT operation

Not many servers to test it, but not using NAT might have solved it.

Btw, there is a weired thing with cerbery.. I shot them with weavers, and my weaver 'joined' my opponent 'permanently' with eye of the gluttony on it. Afaik the description does not really suggests that this should happen. : d

Edit: it might not have been NAT, but DMZ being enabled for another ip. If i can, i will test it

Not sure, but maybe you are right. But now that's Might Necro who will loose every time vs Haven turtle with 2 stacks of Glories.

IMO for fair balance, you should have:
1) an army with the 7 creatures
or
2) an army with only 6 type of creatures but your second stack of the same type will be reduced (only 2/3 (power) of the stack replaced).

Given that they got rid of the constant Petrify spam, I can't really see what's the problem killing Haven with Necropolis with a standard turtle. Even if part of the "wall" is destroyed, this is far from game over. Even without the turtle Necropolis should be able to give Haven hell () even if it eventually loses. While on this, I don't quite understand why they made Guardian Angel easier to use - someone has complained that it's weak?

The -5 weaver is noticeable, but terror and puppet is still really effective against haven. Haven is stronger now (relatively), but with the right type of wall necro has a fair chance (imo).

Inferno is not as bad as i remembered, i played 5-6 games with a tear magic hero today and altough i did not play against that experienced players, it was better than what i expected.

Abyssal gate can heal 2.8k on the pits, the ranged damage is not bad, and with the way mark of chaos currently works they have a good chance at outlasting the opponent mana-wise (puppet, petri, terror, earth ele (its petri works on a lot of champs), dark ele etc. is almost free ..) and there are fun tricks with them. I wont say anything before paying a really good opponent, but they might not be that lost.

Btw battles between good players can be really interesting, imo the game has potential to be really good.

The best way to make sure that it's network config-related and not a game bug is to connect your computer directly to the ISP without NAT, DMZ or anything in between which could be adding more "layers" to the communication, in other words - to configure a public IP address (if you are given one of course) directly on your PC and disable the firewalls on it just in case. This makes sure that there are no translations or filterings which could be blocking part of the connection. If you are using a router, disable NAT on it (that would be bridge-mode) instead of setting port forwarding because you can't be really sure that the ports on the Ubisoft forum are all that you need without official confirmation, then set the public IP on the computer directly.

Diplomacy working now but create some problems. In last game i got 4 situations were neutrals want to join for money, or cancel attack, or kill them. Bad thing is no choice to let them go and get tear reputation.

I would've expected someone who claims higher moral ground to keep it to private messages but let me clarify something you seem to have misunderstood.

There was a deliberate gap in the wall - on the side to be specific - nor was there the usual double ghost selection. You also assumed that the formation would remain the same throughout.

It's a pity it came to this and it's also kind of sad that you would treat newbies and veterans alike in such a manner. I also wouldn't call it harassing you as this is the last time I'll address you directly (or try to at any rate).

I don't get why everybody QQs about Necro all the time.

YES, they are to hard to beat for the majority of all players but personally, I have only lost against a Necro turtle ONCE and that was against a really good player who adapted and changed his strategy after I broke the wall.

I play a Haven Confessor (Tear Magic) with two glories.
I use Ressurection, but I only use the ressurected stack for three turns and then I usually move it to a corner and spam Defend.

Because it's frustrating, just like it was playing against Stronghold before the Cyclops nerf and just like playing Inferno is right now. The cost:reward ratio is just too low so many players refuse to even look at it regardless of possible outcomes.

It's also because not everyone comes in with the mentality of testing or have the tenacity to throw themselves against a wall over and over in hopes of finding their own counter.

That aside, it's rather silly not to try different transition strategies as Necropolis and stay as a turtle formation the entire time.

Hi,

I've played a lot of duels and H6 have a great potential, specially when games are tight, uncertain and last hours.

The two matchs i enjoyed the most was of that kind, so tight that we had no time to cast meditation :
* with "XeroxHC", cheat (petrified ravager) vs cheat (two stack of glories & ressurection) ;
* with "RevolrX", inferno vs inferno.

Actually, magic heroes seems the most powerfull because you have control (summon elemental, puppet master, petrification, ...), half of your creatures are magic (glories/sisters, weavers/spectres/lich, breeders/lilim, princess/mizu-kami/yuki-ona) and you can boost easily your might defense (stone skin, ice armor). Maybe except for stronghold who only have one magic unit and need good might power to do great damage.

There seems to be three big problems : weavers, glories and petrification on ravager. Have one, your opponent none, and game is won.

At same skill, it will always be : Necro > Inferno (yeah, really !) > Haven > Sanctuary > Stronghold.

I don't like to play with necro and haven, tried again yesterday (too boring, hard to focus) and prefer lost causes.

My favorites games are mirror matchs, same factions or same heroes : here, it's only tactic.

I can't wait they fix "scenario" decos, i think magic heroes will again probably be the better choice : you need more great amount of mana + spells (heal, life drain, ...) than might to maximise your fights against neutral creatures.

P.S. : sorry for my poor english, i'm not fluent

That's quite a bombastic statement really, don't expect to be taken seriously. And I gather you are not very used to using Dispel or Purge.

I specify for Inferno, with the petrification bug on Ravagers. Otherwise, I rate them like sanctuary

Of course, it's my personnal impression and it's fun to see everybody has his own who evolve and that there is no clear consensus.

Sure, i have dispel and purge but generally i don't use and like them much . Something went wrong if for example you can dispel time stasis or puppet master (spell launched at the wrong time) or two/more positive single effects on a stack (one spell wasted).

Very usefull on retribution aura and for might heroes against ice armor/stone skin.

The thing is that all kinds of dispel make sure that you won't have too much problems with nasty spells cast on something - with the correct timing of course and not in the case of Retribution Aura which is too easy to abuse.
As for the Ravagers in general - I don't understand how their Taunting Presence works. Sometimes the enemy stacks are forced to attack it, sometimes they can attack whatever they want. Looks like yet another power ratio thing but in this case it's quite inconsistent as 120 Furies are not getting "taunted" by 49 Ravagers but something else which looks stronger (a large stack of Elites for example) is susceptible. Could be a bug or just something that I'm missing.

Taunting works properly in 80~90% of cases. Exceptions are mostly champions (every turn) and sometimes core/elite (only one random turn and not others).

But who will complain when you can't dispel petrification on ravagers ?

So putting ravagers in front of a turtle and petrify it works generally great.

One other thing i don't understand is initiative. Who play first with the same initiative ?

Host in first turn ok, but after ? Random ?

It seems that creatures with "burning determination" or "stronghold rage" will have priority, and host will play in second after the fisrt turn ...
