Guide to Singapore Language/ Singlish
Hey guys! I am a Singaporean. In Singapore, we have a unique language called Singlish. Basically it's a form of Malay mixed with Chinese and English. Probably 95% of Singaporeans speak Singlish. So if you ever visit Singapore and wonder what are we talking about here's a guide.
(Note: Singaporeans always like to say Wah,lah ,loh and sia when they speak too. Don't worry those have no meaning. It's like a slang)
(Note 2: These singlish words have no real characters since they are a mix. What i have listed is how you spell it)
Sian = Bored. Usually goes together with lah.
Chee Bye= Pussy. Usually used when a Singaporean is vexed. It is not used as an insult all the time, Singaporeans sometimes say that when they are angry. example: Chee bye, my boss fire me sia. (Yes Singaporeans don't use proper english when we talk to each other.)
Lim Pei= It means "your father". Usually used by the Chinese gangsters.
Sia Lan= no penis or something like that. Usually used when Singaporeans feel that the person is rude or annoying. Example : Wah
you damn sia lan sia''
Wah Lao= It's like the OMG in Singlish
Guai lan= Same meaning as Sia Lan.
Kan ning na bu chao chee bye= Basically if someone says this to you, he's looking for a fight.(Note: If a Singaporean sms to you knn= kan ning na, they're annoyed. If they sms u CCB= Chao Chee Bye= they are insulting you.)
Ang Moh= It's what Singaporeans call you Westerners, Europeans etc
Chao Ang Moh= Basically he's insulting your race.
More will be added IF i have time! Hope this helps

Now that we have a guide for joining local gangs, maybe you could provide a few words for normal conversation as well.

They usually jumble this words with English. Usually teenagers and old people say Singlish more often.
"Sian lah, my teacher give me so many homework."
"Chee bye my teacher confiscate my handphone sia"
OR sometimes we use improper english without knowing the meaning
" That person snow me" = If we use proper English', it'll be like : That person made fun of me"
