Suggestion: Separate Heroes N+1 forum from Future of Heroes Forum
Heroes 6 is being discussed on the same forum as a hypothetical Heroes 6/7. It becomes increasingly difficult to separate the topics as Heroes 6 approaches. When one or the other uses grows in significance (as time moves toward or away from a release date), it becomes difficult to discuss the alternate use which is less popular. But these people should not be silenced just because of their timing!
So if you guys are planning on doing the same thing as last time where a Heroes 7 forum appears when Heroes 6 is released its going to be just the same problem down the line.
I suggest having forums like this:
-The Future of Heroes (aka Altar of Wishes- this would be a new forum)
-Heroes 6 (For Heroes 6 discussion- only)
-Heroes 7 (For Heroes 7 discussion- only. Create after Heroes 7 announced)
-etc.

There will most likely be a H6 forum when H6 is actually released.

I asked Alci about this some time ago, and I think I remember he said that it will be definitely as Nelgirith said.
I have a similar feeling, just other way round.^^
EDIT: For your proposal:
I'm not sure. So you say, the altar of wishes shallonly be about suggesting things, waht you want in future of HoMM and such, and the HoMM7 thread shall be opened with aniouncement, not release?

Well, it's not a bad idea to make the "Altar of Wishes" a sub-forum for discussion on possible future installments and keep Heroes VI threads to Heroes VI. However, they're much too mixed up now to sort them out.

For me as well it has become increasingly difficult (and thereby also mildly irritating) to separate between the fictional threads of people who suggest and design their own next Heroes title, and threads about the game that is getting released.
While fan fiction is something that most certainly shouldn't be put down or discarded (maybe for the devs it can even be a source of inspiration), I was going to suggest a separation between the two types of threads as well. Make a forum section dedicated to the next upcoming release, and a forum section dedicated to fan fiction and design.

Yeah, once Heroes 6 is released, there will be a dedicated forum similar to current Temple of Ashan. I'm aware there is a bit of a transition state here where both H6 and H7 is discussed in the same forum, but I guess that will be sorted out in time.

That's not entirely what I mean.
You see (wild)growth of users posting creative ideas and it seems to flare up, the longer the game isn't released. Sometimes the thread title hints at being creative or fan-design, but not always. And then you click on such a thread, assuming you're getting some new info - only to find it's another wishful, creative outing of a fan.
Again, nothing wrong with being creative, but it makes it hard to distinguish between fact and fiction.

Thanks for the feedback folks
To clarify, I'm not saying we need a dedicated Heroes 6 forum. I'm saying we need a dedicated "Future of Heroes" forum. Look at the description of this forum. It is the Heroes 6 forum!
What we need is a dedicated forum for fan-made ideas, which I call "Future of Heroes". That's always been tacked onto the Heroes N+1 forum in the past (I know for sure it happened for H5 and H6 both, haven't been here longer than that). If nobody does anything it will continue with each subsequent Heroes game: H7, H8, etc. It is problematic when you want to talk about one specific topic or the other, but not both.
They are separate and distinct ideas. They should have separate and distinct forums. Thanks for reading

As you probably noticed, the forum separation is now in place. I've moved the most obvious candidates to the new Heroes 6 forum (The New Beginning), so if a thread has suddenly gone missing, check over there! Further cleaning might follow.

EDIT: gnomes paranoia has scared me: is it likely big threads like proposals or the CG are going to vanish?
