Be forewarned, the game is a buggy mess on a lot of CPUs at the moment. Check the STEAM forums or official RAGE forums to read some of the many problems people are having with the game.
The biggest offender (to me) is the constant loading of textures due to the megatexture technology found in the new engine. To me, it makes the game unplayable because I absolutely hate watching textures load up EVERY TIME I move my character. It is a complete turn off and totally unacceptable for a $60.00 game. Even worse, the game is nothing but a console port. If you were expecting a separate PC build, you'll be just as disappointed as I am.
I honestly can not recommend this game in its current state. You would fare better waiting a couple of weeks for patches to come out and hopefully fix the mess that is RAGE.
