ICTC VI:The Catacombs
Aka:the Lords of Death,The Masters of the Void
Associated colours: Black,Blood Red,Grey and White
Worship: None.They control the death,the forbidden magic and their objective is the eliminating of the dragons gods and to make a new cosmic balance.
Country / kingdom:large connections of subterranean tunnels,under more important kingdoms,some are even separated

Note:This is not a faction for H6,because H6 havs to few resources,crappy town screens and overpowered core creatures compared to elite and champion.This faction is on the old resources system and old town screens,also elite and champion creatures are more powerful than cores ones,despite their numbers.
General Description
Time for centuries no one in Ashan knew about them,but they're very old,older than the elemental dragons,old as the primordial dragons..."Before the elemental dragons,before Asha and Urgash,there was the Void...so much power in nothing...it created the primordial dragons and us...we aren't the creations of Asha or Urgash...but the creations of the same Void...of nothing...". In the darkness of the catacombs decorated with the bones of thousands of killed enemies,dead members of the void and the relics of the greatest leaders of the Void Order.Some of them are true creations of the void,creatures with a nightmarish appearance,humanoids with knowledge and wisdom that not even the greatest mages of Asha or elemental dragons even reached.Some even had a soul,but after death they renegaded Asha and joined to the Order of the Void.A powerful magic,forbidden in Ashan,the power of the Void itself,that can create ruptures in time and space is known by the Order of the Void.Their main objective is to eliminate the elemental dragons and creating a new cosmic balance,considering that this is their legacy from the Void.
Order of the Void
"The sixteen controllers of the Void,eight Oblivion Marshals and eight Reavers(all heroes of this faction), united into the depths of the earth and created the catacombs in the name of the True Power of the Void...and then formed an order which has such a great power taken from the Void itself,that even the Elemental Dragons are afraid of it...Order of the Void controls the underground catacombs and the depths of the Ashan...and it's just a matter of time until the surface of Ashan and the whole cosmic powers will be under their control...Majority of them are True Descends of the Void,with some exception which proved that they are superior to their race and renegaded that they are creation of the elemental dragons,pushing their racial limits and reach to control the the Power of the Void...These which founded the Order of The Void are: Rat-Khall,the Might of the Shadows, Skinneth,the Grand Knight of the Abyss,Deeah-Knee,the Banshee of the Deeps,Akent,the Chosen of the Heavens,Axis,the Eye of the Devil,Straker,the Grave Veteran,Hertha-Nahe,the Widow of the Anguish,Fek-Arion,the cave wanderer,(Oblivion Marshals) and Asinius,the Black Star,Sandro,the Death Lord,Velliona,the Voice of the Void,Nigg-Hath,the Void Master,Shullner,the conjurer of souls,Abudulah,the bringer of eclipse,Y'ghann,the astral walker and Nith-lak,the illuminated(Reavers)
The Catacombs
Build by the Void Order in the depths of Ashan,the Sinister Catacombs are the Impenetrable Citadel of the Void Servants and Controllers.The dark,long and narrow corridors serve as barriers for outsiders and passages between halls for these which embrace the void...The Catacombs are decorated with bones that forms a morbid decoration whose objective is to destroy the morale of these enough brave to enter here...but a few outsiders have the chance to see these horrifying corridors before they die...no long will pass until they will fall under the True Power of the Void. Catacombs are formed from narrow corridors that serves as passages between giant underground halls.The corridors are easy to defend and can be blocked in order to protect the central rooms.The central rooms are spherical and very tall,they can have more levels or floors,central rooms can be dug or inhabited natural caves that are connected with one or more corridors.The Void Order and the entirely Catacombs factions is in an active war with all other kingdoms/factions of the Ashan,considering to be enemies because they worship the Elemental Dragons.The well guarded Catacombs were never invaded,the highest success of the "Elemental Dragons Spawns" was that when they entered in the first central chamber under borders of Heresh,but no one get out alive from there,they were killed to the last soldier.Void Controllers were more successful in military campaigns and even successfully invaded the capital of an important faction.
History

Genesis
Before Elemental Dragons,before the universe,there was nothing,there was the Void.Then from nothing the first particle appeared...the Prime Void Descend...and the primordial egg.The Prime Void Descend was released on a fiery stone...channeling the Void Power,it got colder and it created the planet that we are today,then under its surface founded the corridors that are now the Catacombs...The Primordial Dragons did NOTHING!They just broke that egg and started to scratch each-others eyes and then they just claimed the planet!But what they didn't know...not only their creations evolved...in the depths the Void's descends started the developing of the most powerful faction that not even the elemenatl Dragons will stand against it!
Birth of the Void Order
The sixteen controllers of the Void,eight Oblivion Marshals and eight Reavers, united into the depths of the earth and created the catacombs in the name of the True Power of the Void...and then formed an order which has such a great power taken from the Void itself,that even the Elemental Dragons are afraid of it...Order of the Void controls the underground catacombs and the depths of the Ashan...and it's just a matter of time until the surface of Ashan and the whole cosmic powers will be under their control.The Void Control is officially classified by the order in three affiliations:Matter Destruction,Necrology and Energies Manipulation.
Unleashing of the Behemoth
The Sar-Elam becomes the seventh dragon,this is not good news for the Void Order.This is time to strike before their location is revealed and get attacked by outsiders.The sixteen Void Controllers reunite in the Shadow-Gate to plan an attack against surface dwellers,to exterminate them or at least to keep them busy for a while,until the Catacombs are reinforced.The Void Controllers decided to summon one of the greatest nightmares from another plane directly on the surface of Ashan to deal with the elemental dragons and their servants.Tens of Necrologists,Mages and Summoners from the Shadow-Gate lead by the Reavers and Oblivion Marshals make one of the biggest experiments that Ashan ever seen.During the days of the summoning the Ashan was shaken by earthquakes and the experiments reaches its objectives...An half-decayed gargantuanic beast,covered in blood and black fur,large white spots made from fungi were covering a small part of its back.Its horned head was ugly enough to make all Ashan to tremble in fear,its mouth had giant sharp teeth.Its breath infected air.Deadly and unstoppable,that was the Behemoth.Time for a century this cursed creature,roamed free through the world destroying entirely kingdom,bringing only death and destruction.The Elemental Dragons needed to deal themselves with this nightmarish creature,leading the armies of elves and humans,the dragons successfully defeated temporary the Behemoth,but with the cost of a part of their power.Even if the Ashan dweller thought that all is over,but the Void Controllers gained the needed time.
The Winter of the Plague
The behemoth was destroyed three centuries ago,but the Void Controllers and the Catacombs are more powerful than ever,now is time to weaken the enemy.Shulnner,the collector of souls,one of the mighty Reavers from the Catacombs developed more experiments on corpses,growing terrible bacterias,capable of poisoning outsiders.After years of experimenting,the bacterias were released on the surface.Hundreds of years the Ashan was decimated by a terrible plague.Killing millions of people and weakening drastically the outsiders defense.Lots died,but not all of them stayed dead.The plague mutated some of victims into something else,something horrible,transformed them into ghasts,terrible undead that lost their humanity,savage and merciless killers that feed on living flesh.These undeads added a large numbers of victim to the plague.The enemies are drastically weakened,the Void Armies proceed to the next step.
Allies between Enemies:Founding the Surface Order
The Void Controllers need external agents to spy the surface,to see which plans have the outsiders,to prevent external attack or at least to prepare for them.As the enemies are weaker now after the plague,it is the time to make allies in the enemies lines now,when the outsiders authorities are concentrated on the plague.Several nobles and Mercenary Clans are converted and bribed with gold,precious stones and most importantly,a cure that can heal the plague.Some of them accept,some of them don't and are destroyed.There are several conditions,to keep their loyalty to Void secret and to keep the cure only for themselves.Of course other citizens observe the strange "immunity" to plague of these loyal to Void.In short time the Surface Order gain much political power in several kingdoms.
The Retribution of the BEHEMOTH(The main topic of the Catacombs campaign)
It is the time for a frontal attack,it is the time to use all that Void Controllers learned in the past,it is time to strike with all weapons!The Behemoth must return,it must be resurrected.Now the Void Armies will not do the same mistake,the plague must be released again,the new allies must be used and the Behemoth must return,all of them in the same time and followed by an huge army of the Void forces.It's the Eclipse time,let the demons to take the north,they will deal with the rest,the Void armies will take the Spider's priests,Light Elves and the Holy Empire.Three Catacombs heroes will get the three relics of the Behemoth:Its head,its heart and its claw.Akent,the chosen of the Heavens, will go for Beheomoth's heart at the borders of Irollan.Sandro,the lord of death,will go to the haunted valley of Heresh to get the Behemoth's claw and Nigg-Hath will go into the Holy Griffin Empire to search the Behemoth's Head,after the all will meet in the same place and resurrect the Behemoth.And then the final battle...

Racial Ability:Void Control
Something that mortals can't even imagine,a powerful magic that can be understand just be the Order of the Void,so powerful that even the elemental dragons are afraid of it.The true power of the Void would destroy a normal dweller of Ashan,be it human,dwarf,elf,orc or something else,be it a great mage or a peasant...only the direct Descends of the True Void can control and understand it.Only one single case of an undead human that could control entirely the True Power of the Void and became member of the High Council,Sandro of Heresh,once a necromancer of Asha,but he wanted more,considering that Asha uses them as toys making him incapable to govern the elements at the highest scale,the Void opened his mind.Demonstrating that he is powerful as,if not more powerful than an elemental dragon Sandro reached broke the barrier of the reality and reached to control the True Power of the Void as the Direct Descends of The Void.Still no "true" mortal reached so high limits to control at least a small piece of the Power of The Void....Hero use Void Energy to cast special Void Spells,because these incantations aren't exactly magics,magic resistances,anti-magic,dispel,purge may not work(have only 1/4 chances to block/cure a void specific spell).Void Energy isn't exactly as mana and effects/spells that drain/increase or decrease(the cost) mana won't work.Void Energy can't be used for casting normal mana(a hero with 0 mana and,can cast Void Spells if (s)he have Void Energy left and a hero with 0 Void Energy can cast normal spells if (s)he have mana left).At Catacombs' heroes every knowledge point increase also max Void Energy by 5.Consumed Void Energy is regenerated every day and a day spent in a catacomb town will restore Void Energy to its max.
Basic Void Control:Add +100 max Void energy and allows to learn 2 spells from the 1st and 2nd Void Circle
Advance Void Control:Add +50 max Void energy and allows to learn 2 spells from the 3rd Void Circle
Expert Void Control:Add +150 max Void energy and allows to learn 2 spells from the 4th Void Circle
Ultimate Void Control:Add +200 max Void energy and allows to learn 1 spell from the Ultimate Void Circle
Void Control have three affiliations.Every Catacomb Hero can chose only one from these three affiliations:

VOID SPELLS
There are 5 circles of void spells,there is one spells on circle per affiliation.Void Spells effects and damage increase with spellpower.(Key:Red-Matter Destruction,Black-Necrology,Blue-Energies Manipulation.
----1ST CIRCLE----
Eliminate Matter-every creature that will walk into the selected square/hex will get damage due to lack of oxygen
Necrosis-cause the decay of tissues of the selected enemy stack,it gets damage every turn,it lasts 2/3/4/5 turns(basic/advance/expert/ultimate)
Accelerate Particles-increase speed for all creatures that are in the effect's are by 2/3/4/5 speed(basic/advance/expert/ultimate)
----2ND CIRCLE----
Corrosion-decrease the selected enemy stack's defense by 10%/15%/20%/25%(basic/advance/expert/ultimate)
Soul Drain-damage an enemy stack in order to heal one of your own stack,the damage converted as life is 15%/25%/35%/45%(basic/advance/expert/ultimate)
Traveling Vortex-move the selected friendly or enemy stack anywhere on the battlefield
----3RD CIRCLE----
Accumulate Pressure-acts like a "time bomb",accumulate atmospheric pressure over an enemy stack time for 3 turns,at the 4th turn it releases the pressure dealing massive damage on the stack
Necrological Raising-resurrect dead stacks,after battle 30%/50%/75% (advance/expert/ultimate) from the dead stack remains after battle,undead are always resurrected 100%. You may raise dead enemy creatures as well under your control,but you can't kept them after battle
Force Field-summon a force field in front of an allied creature protecting it from 50%/65%/75% ranged damage (advance/expert/ultimate). Any creature that stays behind the force field is protected,creatures that leave the force field lose force field's protection.Lasts for 5 turns
----4TH CIRCLE----
Astral Breakdown-decompose any kind of magic(both yours and your opponent's,both beneficial and hostile),excepting Void one from the battlefield conjuring it into a primal force that deals massive damage to all stacks in an area.More spells are dispelled,the higher the damage will be
Immaterialisation-transform normal matter in "ghostly" like one or vice versa.The Void Controller can buff his creatures giving them the incorporeal ability,they suffer less physical damage,enemies have a chance to miss them and can pass through objects.On enemy already incorporeal creatures it works in reverse,they become normal and lose their incorporeal ability.The spell works for 3/4 turns(expert/ultimate)
Energetic Blockade-the stack protected by the energetic blockade cannot be damaged for 1/2 turns(expert/ultimate),but its damage is decreased by 75%/50%(expert/ultimate)
-----ULTIMATE CIRCLE-----
Black Hole-creates a rupture in time and space that occupy 6X6 squares/18 hexes on the battlefield,the Black Hole deals massive damage to every stack on the battlefield,but the creatures under the caster's command suffer less damage.Enemy creatures can be sucked into the Black Hole.Nearer the stack are to the black hole,the more damage will suffer.It can be casted directly over enemy stacks and will always kill at least 10 creatures.Lasts for 3 turns
Death Call-cause instant death to 30% from the targeted enemy stack.The more times it is casted the less percent of creatures will die(for example,first time it kills 30%,the second time only 25% from the remaining number of creatures,the third time only 23% and so on to an minimal of 15%). It always kills a creature from the stack(bosses will suffer damage from this spell,they can't be killed instantly). The percent of killed creatures increase with spellpower.
Void Barrier-creates a barrier that disperse any kind of energies that don't come directly from the Void,altered energies are blocked.After 3 turns the barrier's caster can use any kind of spell,but the opponent,no.It lasts for 5 turns.
Might Hero:Oblivion Marshal
Powerful military leaders,members of the High Council,direct Descends of the True Void. Ashan dwellers of any kind,know that when a Oblivion Marshal leave the catacombs and come to surface, it will be followed by an immense army...and will bring only death and destruction. Oblivion Marshals know to control the Void and their ultimate propose is to lead their armies to the battle for the New Cosmic Balance and controlling the elements at the highest scale in the name of the Void...

A giant eye that reveals the exact numbers of creatures in enemy heroes armies and neutral stacks that stay in the town's line of sight.

Shrine of Despair
The horrible structure made from bones of thousands of dead enemies,with the imprisoned souls of these which were slain by the blades of the Void Controllers.Every two turns,the imprisoned souls screams dealing minor damage,devastating the morale of the attackers.

Astral Node
"A portal to a parallel plane.A different plane,no living being,no matter,but just pure energy."Increase Void spells resistance to dispel by 30%.

Gargoyle Parapets
Grotesque statues of winged beasts along the walls silently watching over the fortress,turning to life and attacking anyone that threaten the Catacombs.During a siege the gargoyles will attack at random every turn an enemy stack.

Forgotten Library
In the cold and terrifying corridors of the ancient library are stored the sacred spells of the Void Power.The horrific structure is decorated with bones and gargoyles that would scary any mortal...The Forgotten Library adds Void Spells in the mage guild also boosts permanently visiting heroes knowledge by 1(works only once per hero)

Neverending Light
"It shines from century and it will never stop". Boosts Void Energy of the visiting heroes by 10%,once per hero.

The Endless Abyss*GRAIL*
Earns your kingdom 5000gold/day,also instead of boosting creatures growth by 50%,it adds a 3rd upgrade for every creatures(Grail Upgrades) making them stronger and giving better abilities.Also it boosts max Void Energy of every hero by 50% and increase Void Spells power by 20%.

CORE
Hatsvar
Not only the elemental dragons created races...the Void did the same...but the Void creations are more horrid than that elemental dragons created...one of the horrible spawns of the Void is the Hatsvar,a small but cunning creature,without eyes,that is guided only by the rotten smell of dead flesh...and sometimes even fresh blood.Hatsvar have horrible tentacles around their small mouths,that are used to grab food,and sometimes are used to protect themselves against their enemies.The horrid Hatsvar is a scavenger,eating usually corpses,but they never refuse living flesh,usually staying and feeding in large groups to intimidate predators bigger than them,sometimes these groups of Hatsvars enters in a blood frenzy and start hunting large prays.In the catacombs there are enough of these horrid creatures to assemble large armies,female Hatsvars usually have 37-100 eggs once,however these creatures aren't friendly with other kinds than their own,but as any spawn of the void they feel the Void Power and can be controlled using it,but outsiders that aren't capable of using the Void Power will be considered not more than simple food.
Abilities
Small Creature:Occupy just 1 square/hex on the battlefield
Void Spawn:Beign created by Void they understand it and take less damage from Void Power spells(only 80% from the total damage).
Naturally Blind:This creature was born blind,so it is immune to Blind spells
Scavenger:This creature can restore its health and even their numbers by devouring the enemy corpses lying on the battlefield within its movement range.Health gained is equal to 20% of the dead stack's Hit Points.
Blood Frenzy:This creature can enter in a blood frenzy attracted by the smell of the fresh blood after a wounding,increasing its damage by 50% for the next hit(150% damage for the next hit)

The Void creations are the most bizarre from all.The gigantic five-headed monster named Xerraodor,lives in the deep caverns and the horrifying catacombs.The Xerrador is naturally blind as it doesn't need eyes in the totally darkness of the underground caves,the other senses are sharpened and assure them to orientate freely in pitch darkness,they can hear and smell from miles away,there is no way to fool this creature as it can feel the pray,even without seeing it.A horror in the underground and the same in full daylight,its nightmarish appearance is enough to scare even the bravest warriors.Terrible deadly gazes are breathed by the three small heads of this monsters,deadly enough to kill entire armies.

Seems like a good faction, but even from the short descriptions it looks a bit strong... Still, I find it interesting how, though it looks like an undead themed town, it is actually based on the void-faceless type creatures.

CAMPAIGN:THE RETRIBUTION OF THE BEHEMOTH
It is the time for a frontal attack,it is the time to use all that Void Controllers learned in the past,it is time to strike with all weapons!The Behemoth must return,it must be resurrected.Now the Void Armies will not do the same mistake,the plague must be released again,the new allies must be used and the Behemoth must return,all of them in the same time and followed by an huge army of the Void forces.It's the Eclipse time,let the demons to take the north,they will deal with the rest,the Void armies will take the Spider's priests,Light Elves and the Holy Empire.Three Catacombs heroes will get the three relics of the Behemoth:Its skull , its heart and its eye.Akent,the chosen of the Heavens, will go for Beheomoth's heart at the borders of Irollan.Sandro,the lord of death,will go to the haunted valley of Heresh to get the Behemoth's eye and Nigg-Hath will go into the Holy Griffin Empire to search the Behemoth's skull,after the all will meet in the same place and resurrect the Behemoth.And then the final battle...

Nigg-Hath
One of the oldest and influent member of the Void Order.Nigg-Hath is one of the founders of the catacombs and a very skilled void controller.He helped at summoning of the Behemoth first time,there are rumors that there were more attempts of resurrecting the behemoth in the past,but are just rumors.Some says that Nigg-Hath was the first Void Contorller,but he never denied or confirmed it however.Now Nigg-Hath with the help of Sandro and Akent will try to resurrect the behemoth.

A very respected and powerful member of the Void order thanks to his mastery in Void Control.Nigg-Hath's void spells that are affiliated to "Matter Destruction" will deal 10%+1% per hero lvl more damage.

Sandro origins as living human are unknown.He's the only case of an undead human that could control entirely the True Power of the Void and became member of the High Council,Sandro of Heresh,once a necromancer of Asha,but he wanted more,considering that Asha uses them as toys making him incapable to govern the elements at the highest scale,the Void opened his mind.Demonstrating that he is powerful as,if not more powerful than an elemental dragon Sandro reached broke the barrier of the reality and reached to control the True Power of the Void as the Direct Descends of The Void.Because he was exiled from Heresh because of his anti-Asha propaganda,Sandro wants revenge and think that the Behemoth will help to do this.

Sandro was a necromancer in Heresh and studied the art of dead for centuries.In the catacombs he mastered even more in this art.Sandro is able to resurrect 10%+5%(for every 3 hero levels) combat casualties as Resurrected Horde.If there is no room in the army,Sandro will resurrect Grotesques or Silent Assassins,but they will be much less.

Unlike the other Void Controllers,Akent believe that there is another Astral Plane above us that governs all the energies in this plane.Akent doesn't negate the supremacy of the Void Power,but he thinks that there is an hidden entity that controls all energies,an holy entity.
Specialty:Angelic Pact
Akent made a pact with a powerful entity,he calls the entity and Angel,but something different than the Elrath's Celestials.His face is covered with a hood and his wings are made of pure energy(something like Tyrael or Hadirel from D2). The Entity is peaceful and he says that he won't spill blood and won't interfere directly with this plane,but instead he gives Akent's troops powerful blessings.
The Angel Gabriel has the following stats and abilities:

The remains of a warrior that died in battle resurrected by an necrologist.The rusty weapon of the resurrected warrior is not as good as a new sharp sword,but the rust once entered into the veins of a living creature can produce diseases.The old armor that was cut by swords,crushed by maces and stabbed by arrows is still good and if it survived so many hits means that is a resistant armor.Maybe resurrected hordes aren't as good,professional and skilled as silverbone assassins,executioners and knights,but are more numerous.

Undead-this creature lived ages ago and now is a lifeless corpse animated by a powerful magic.Because it isn't living anymore,it is restless,not care about hunger or thirst,poison can affect it and minds spells won't work on a lifeless carcass.They don't fear of death,but also glory will not bound any happiness in this corpse,so their morale is always neutral.
Skeletal-My quiver was empty,but it wasn't injuried"-that said an experienced archer after fighting against Void armies.The arrows will just fly between the bones of these creatures,often missing important parts.Even the most experienced archers can miss with ease the skeletal body of this creature.It receives only 25% damage from ranged attacks.
Rusty Weapon:-a rusty weapon is not as good as a new sharp one,but the rust once entered into the veins of a living creature can produce diseases.There are 35% chances like at hit the resurrected horde will infect the enemy,the diseases stack will receive damage every turn time of 3 turns.

The Void Controllers need external agents to spy the surface,to see which plans have the outsiders,to prevent external attack or at least to prepare for them.The External Soldiers are outsiders that swore loyalty to the Void,they fight for Void because they have the same ideology or because of the material rewards.Once servants of Asha,they are now renegades and followers of the Void.They kept secret their loyalty to Void and act as spies in times of peace and soldiers of the Void when the Void Controllers leave the catacombs to start wars.Void External Soldiers are the basic infantry outside the Catacombs.They use full armor,tower shields and longswords in fight.

Shulnner,the collector of souls,one of the mighty Reavers from the Catacombs developed more experiments on corpses,growing terrible bacterias,capable of poisoning outsiders.After years of experimenting,the bacterias were released on the surface.The people killed by the bacteria were mutated and transformed in undeads,into ghasts,terrible undead that lost their humanity,savage and merciless killers that feed on living flesh.Ghasts aren't the most intelligent creatures,but their hungry for living flesh and blood make them brutal killers.Ghasts lose quickly the liquids from their body,because of that,these undeads produce deadly clouds of infected liquids that can produce even more victims.

Diseasing-Ghasts infect the blood of these which they bite or scratch,because they're bearers of a terrible disease,that is also very contagious.There are 80% chances that after attacking living stacks to infect them.The infected stacks hp is reduced by 10% and they suffer damage every turn time for 6 turns.
Spearing the Plague-Ghasts' disease is very contagious and can be easily speared.After combat,20% up to 80% of the casualties are raised as Ghasts.Both if a hero controls the ghasts or a neutral stack defeats an player/AI controlled army.

Death Guards are Sandro's personal guards,after he left Heresh and joined the Void Order,the Void descends were a bit skeptical,but soon Sandro gained more influence in the Catacombs and became an important member of the Void Order.His necrological studies gathered many adepts,the faces of death,the liches of the Void,the so called Death Guards.They are a different order from the Silverbone one,but are identical in some parts,both are martial orders,both are formed from undeads.Death Guards are less in numbers than the silverbones,but are as respected.Unlike the silverbones,death guards are also initiated in Void Energies,especially Necrology.Above the surface they are characterized as incarnations of death,bloodthirsty specters whose scythes are bringers of pain and death.Death Guards have a very important role in the invasion of Heresh by the Void Forces.

Soul Drain:-After the skeleton sliced a soldier in two with its scythe,it absorbed a strange white smoke from the corpse!-the words of a witness of the terrible ritual of soul drain.The Death Guard after killing a creature will drain the dead soul in order to replenish lost Void Energy.Also creatures killed by the Death Guard can't be resurrected.

"If they worship the dragons,let's give them a dragon.We will show that we're superior creating our own dragon,a horror from the abyss,a decayed dragon of the deep,an undead horror."-Sandro,the Death Lord.During the invasion of Heresh,Sandro has also a subquest,he didn't only recovered the Behemoth's Eye,but also he assembled and raised the Dracolich.Made from the bones,flesh,blood and skins of hundreds of creatures and these of the dead dragons.It's the most powerful and horrible creation of Sandro.Its breath is toxic and it is bound with lots of void and necrology spells that grants the ability to curse enemies.

Death Call:The Dracolich is a creature of Death,a horror created with necrology.Sandro imbued the Dracolich with the Death Call spell,so the horrid creature can cast the Death Call spell once at 5 turns.On bosses the spell will not kill them instantly,but will deal massive damage.

An half-decayed gargantuanic beast,covered in blood and black fur,large white spots made from fungi were covering a small part of its back.Its horned head was ugly enough to make all Ashan to tremble in fear,its mouth had giant sharp teeth.Its breath infected air.Deadly and unstoppable,that was the Behemoth.Time for a century this cursed creature,roamed free through the world destroying entirely kingdom,bringing only death and destruction.The Elemental Dragons needed to deal themselves with this nightmarish creature,leading the armies of elves and humans,the dragons successfully defeated temporary the Behemoth,but with the cost of a part of their power.Fearing that the Behemoth will return and the Elemental Dragons are seriously weakened after the fight and wouldn't stop the Behemoth the second time,the Asha's followers speared the Behemoth's relics in three different regions of Ashan.Its eye was hidden in the haunted valley of Heresh in the ancient Temple of the Spider Goddess,its heart is kept and guarded non-stop in the Golden Reliquary at the borders of Irollan and Griffin Empire,its skull was buried under the Capitol of the Falconguard.The quest of Nigg-Hath,Sandro and Akent is that to recover these relics and to resurrect the behemoth,but this time they will also bring an huge army of the Void forces and weaken the enemies with an deadly plague.If the Behemoth will be resurrected,it will gain more power thanks to the spells of the three Void Controllers.

Inspire Fear:The gargantuanic beast,the most horrible and powerful creation of the Void,big as a mountain,hideous,its covered in blood of thousands and thousands of enemies!I was petrified,I couldn't move,it killed every regiment that stayed in its way,I saw it in front of me,but I was so scared,I wanted to run but I couldn't,I couldn't run...-the last words of a empire's commander before to be killed by the behemoth.The horrifying beast will inspire fear to the enemies making them to lose the retaliation and have 80% chances to make the attacked creature to lose the next turn.
Blow of the Behemoth:"So big that a hit of its claw would throw a whole regiment miles away..."-The Behemoth can throw with an enemy stack over another enemy stack.Both stacks suffer massive damage and the stack who was hit is pushed 4 squares/hexes back,while the stack who was threw takes the place of the other stack.
Infected Breath:"When the Behemoth opens its mouth,it infect the air with hundreds of types of lethal gazes,enough to kill an whole country instantly and to infect a whole world."All non-void,living creatures on the battlefield are infected with an lethal gazes.The behemoth releases the deadly gazes once at 10 turns.The infected stacks lose 20% from their max hp and are damaged every turn.Lasts 5 turns.
Aura of Hostile Occult Immunity:"It comes from another world,no kind of hostile magic can't harm it."Immune to any kind of hostile spell,ritual or any kind of magical force that would harm it.
Hard to Kill:Immune to instant death effects
Strength of the Behemoth:"Its claws are huge and hard as steel,the Behemoth can break all bones and kill instantly an mounted soldier.But sometimes it can even kill a whole regiment with one strike.". There are 25% chances like the Behemoth will deal double damage.
Blood Rage:"Even if it looks slow,it isn't,sometimes it will enter in an frenzy and will hit with such strength that will crush a mountain."There are 30% chances that the Behemoth will enter in frenzy,it is uncontrollable under the frenzy but WON'T harm your own troops,in frenzy the Behemoth will deal 150% damage and have double speed.The frenzy last two turns.It's impossible to have two consecutive frenzies.

CAMPAIGN:THE RETRIBUTION OF THE BEHEMOTH
1.Heart of the Beast
Fearing that the Behemoth will return and the Elemental Dragons are seriously weakened after the fight and wouldn't stop the Behemoth the second time,the Asha's followers speared the Behemoth's relics in three different regions of Ashan.Its heart is kept and guarded non-stop in the Golden Reliquary at the borders of Irollan and Griffin Empire.Akent's mission is to recover the heart from the golden reliquary,but it won't be easy as the reliquary is guarded.Akent take a small army from the Shadow-Gate but he will need to use his diplomat skills and the angel Gabriel to convert locals to join Void's Forces.The rest must be killed otherwise they will call the armies of Irollan and Griffin Empire and this will make the situation harder.Akent must try to recruit as many Void External Soldiers and Mages to can attack the holy reliquary and to recover the Heart of the Behemoth.The map is half forest(Irollan) and the other half have less forest and is more field.Akent starts in the south of the map between Irollan and Griffin Empire,exactly at border.There is only one Catacombs town(your base) on the map,you can't build Pit of Suffering in it.In rest on the map are 4 Sylvan towns and 3 Haven towns.Akent can transform foreign towns into Void Outposts(they still have the economical buildings) where you can recruit Void External Soldiers and Void External Mages,even if you can't recruit stronger creatures here,but they have very high growth,with Castle they can reach 45 growth.Akent have diplomacy skill so you can make an very powerful army with minimal costs.After you defeat your both enemies,you can concentrate on attacking the reliquary.It is a big golden structure you can't miss it.Be sure you have a big army.After you enter in the reliquary there is the final scenario battle.You have to fight a large army of vestals and celestials.If you managed to prepare a big army you will not have trouble defeating them.
Akent's skills,spells and artifacts will be transfered to the final scenario.
2.Retribution of the Death
The Eye of the Behemoth was hidden in the haunted valley of Heresh in the ancient Temple of the Spider Goddess,guarded by the Avatar of Asha and her servants.Sandro was the best candidate for this quest,he was a necromancer there and wants revenge.Sandro will use death to fight death and the objective is to make his way to the Temple of the Spider Goddess in the center of Heresh.As the Spider Priests are seriously weakened after the War of the Broken staff,Sandro won't have big problems in Heresh.Also,Sandro have old allies there,that share his ideology and are anti-Asha supremacy,they will sure help Sandro in his quest.Silverbone Order and the loyal guard of Sandro,Death Guards will play an important role in the Invasion of Heresh along with the living masses of gore,known as Grotesques.You begin at the entrance in the haunted valley of Heresh,Sandro starts with an substantial army of Silverbone Assassins and Executioners,Death Guards,Grotesques,Horrors and Silverbone Knights.Spider Goddess' Necropolises aren't something Sandro can trust,but instead he can use the Cloak of the Undead King to corrupe them,the transformed Necropolises looks like Catacombs town,but instead of the normal creatures here you can recruit:

Death Guards(elite)
Because there is one elite and champion creature missing,the Void Necropolis compensate with bigger growth rates and also let you recruiting Grail upgrades without grail(but you still need to build another structure,different from the normal basic and upgrade). Look above to see information about campaign's and faction's creatures.
The first task is to raise the Dracolich,but better take care of your enemy first.To raise it you need to make at least 1000 kills,no matter which creature.Then find the Cloak of the Undead King and the Armor of the Damned(they Armor was stolen from Sandro when he was exiled,the cloak Sandro starts with it),these two artifacts are heavily,but Sandro's specialty to raise Resurrected Hordes and the substantial army which you start it will help a lot.The Temple of the Spider Goddess Asha is located in a canyon.Better to don't rush at it,make sure you have a huge army because you will need it for the final fight.Once you have gathered an large army,you can enter in temple.Here you will have to fight with the Avatar of the Spider Goddess Asha and 2 large stacks of fate weavers.If you gathered a large army you will not have trouble defeating them,don't forget you have also the Dracolich.
Sandro's skills,spells and artifacts will be transfered to the final scenario.
3.Plague March to the Falconguard
The Skull of the Behemoth was buried under the capitol of the Falconguard,in the heart of the Griffin Empire and of the enemy territory.Nigg-Hath's quest is to walk in the middle of the enemy territory to traverse the lands of the griffin empire and burn any city or fortress that stays in its way,then to break the walls of the Falconguard and then to blow up the capitol and dig for the skull.One thing is sure,it won't be easy.He needs to weaken drastically the enemies,the answer is plague of Shullner,a terrible deadly disease,very contagious and those which are killed by it return to life as ghasts,terrible undeads that feed on living flesh and blood.This will weaken a lot the enemy.Even if ghasts aren't organised,wild and doesn't are so powerful,they're numerous,so dangerous and may be an obstacle,for that Nigg-Hath have the Coat of Decay,if the coat is soaked in the blood of five hundreds ghasts,it will give the power to the owner to control the ghasts.But also with the plague to break the walls of the Falconguard will be hard,so Nigg-Hath hired the best smiths and engineers of the Void Forces to build an incredible siege weapon,a huge cannon,the Sudden Death Cannon.It will break the walls of Falconguard easily.
First of all the map is FULL with ghasts,it won't be a big problem to kill 500,Nigg-Hath will start with a good army and with the Sudden Death Cannon(see above in the campaign's creature list for more details about Sudden Death Cannon). After that ghasts will be more likely to join,but they won't always do this.Even in the middle of the Falconguard you have allies,nobles that share your Void ideology will let you to recruit soldiers from their manors and domains,on the map there are more Void Outposts,were your enemy can't enter,the nobles will be loyal to you as long as you also provide a cure(you don't need to get an artifact or to pay for cure,Nigg-Hath already know it). You can also corrupt conquered cities into Void Outposts(they still have the economical buildings) where you can recruit Void External Soldiers and Void External Mages,even if you can't recruit stronger creatures here,but they have very high growth,with Castle they can reach 45 growth.You can even ignore your enemy,they will be very busy with killing hundreds of ghasts before reaching you.Head to the Falconguard,an Haven town,the capital.Be sure to gather and large army of Void-Out Soldiers,Void-Out Mages and Ghasts before attacking Falconguard,you will have to fight an army of haven creature here.Sudden Death Cannon will take care of walls and towers,also it can kill a large part of the creatures defending Falconguard.
Nigg-Hath's skills,spells and artifacts will be transfered to the final scenario.
4.The Resurrection of the Behemoth
Now that all the relics of the Behemoths have been collected,they must be united and a resurrection ritual must be done.Nigg-Hath,Sandro and Akent will meet to do the Resurrection of the Behemoth in the Ertum Canyon.This scenario is a piece of cake,but the final battle is the apogee of the campaign,a hard battle with high numbers.In the scenario,all heroes will start in a different corner of the map and will need to get into the canyon located in the middle of the map.They have huge armies and it will be easy to get to the canyon.
And now the FINAL BATTLE. The ritual made an energetic disequilibrium,that even the elemental dragons fell,Elrath himself gathered an army of the Griffin Empire,and Sylanna did the same with the Irollan's elves.The Forces of Void will battle with the forces of Elrath and Sylanna!This will be an epic battle,the battlefield is four times bigger than the normal one,three heroes in combat.You will benefit from Sudden Death cannon,Akent's angel,Gabriel,the Dracolich and the Behemoth itself.You also have three heroes and benefit from every affiliation of the Void.The armies are:

Three heroes,three affiliations,they also have expert magic schools.So you can adopt any style you want.The best to fight with glories is that to lure them to fight with Silverbones,they will benefit from light damage and conjure it as shield.All heroes have level 50,so all your troops will benefit from Gabriel's mass blessings.You also get spells that can't be accessed in normal games:Nigg-Hath can mark a stack with plague,it will be weaker and after its death will raise as Ghasts.Sandro can raise Resurrected Hordes directly on the battlefield,also there is an effect with 5 turns countdown,all your creatures will use the warcry:"For the Void",the non-humanoid creatures will just roar,but the effect will make the morale of your enemies negative.Beware of the Dragon bosses,try summoning Black Hole directly on Erlath or on the enemy lines,it will do a lot of damage.Also you can cast the spell "Stop the time" once per battle,after the spell is triggered all enemy troops will freeze and only your creatures can move or attack,it lasts one turn,try using it also to move your troops in a tactical position or around the enemy stack you want to kill.Use first death call with Sandro,it will kill 50% from the enemy stack first time,try using it on the most annoying or numerous stack.Profit a lot from your creatures effects.It will be sure a loooooooooong fight...
But the victory is worth,Elrath and Sylanna retreats and the Void Forces can take the Ashan,or the other dragons will attack the Void Forces?This time was a victory,a great victory but there will be more fights,Elrath and Sylanna may return,or they were so scared by the Forces of the Void and forgot about their worshipers?The Void awaits them with an army bigger than the last time.The Griffin Empire feel and the other kingdoms will do the same.Nigg-Hath,Sandro and Akent gained elemental power and master the Supreme Power of the Void,soon other reavers and oblivion marshals will follow their example and start to fight the other elemental dragons!The Era of Dragons is over.THE VOID WILL RULE ALL

Well,Abyss spellcasters control only a small part from the Void,the Void itself is endless and its power is unlimited.Elemental Dragons are fearing the Void itself,but some good void controllers can be a real threat even for the elemental dragons.

So, feedback time for the catacombs
As usual, first general feedbacks:
-All necessary info is in, I would consider this faction complete enough to judge it.
-seems a bit of another "(over)mighty enemy from a 'different plane', trying to destroy/refound/conquer the world" to me...not necessary a downer in scores!
and for single things:
-History is nicely detailed and fitting.
-The campaign-preview looks pretty nice!
-the racial...I do not think specific magic schools are so creative. Yet this one seems, for such an, rather interesting.
-hero classes look fine so far
-faction relations are fine as well (though here again the role of the void as "enemy to all" comes in
-special buildings are fine
-units...strange names (which does not decrease points )
--Hatsvars...I like them. they seem very fitting, story- and abuilitywise
--Grotesques...not that creative imo. but I like some of it. "Throwing Flesh" is awesome the grail upgrade is quite nice as well!
--Lurkers...Dimension WOrms?! slightly amusing in my eyes but I seee they can be a usefull and annoying creature.
--Silverbones... so far, I liek thte skeleton assassins
--Scorcerors. Fine caster, as far as a first glance gives me.
--Xerrador...Cerberus meets Hydra?^^ not my taste, though fitting into the void.
--Chaosbringer...not mcuh to say yet...
