My bf plays inferno exclusively and it never shows if the hero will be lucky. It will surely help in creeping.

The fan manual gives a possible explanation about inferno heroic strike :

"Scorching Strike
Inferno heroes know in advance whether their default attacks will be critical hits. Might increases the damage bonus of the critical hits."

Yesterday my bf didn't manage to pass this garrisson 2nd week day 7:
5 pit lords, 30 ravagers, 30 lacerators, 100 lilims controlled by me.
He had 78 lilims, 9 juggernaut or he thought better to use 78 lilims and 2 pit fiends. He was level 19 and had reinforcements II , cleave, resilence, luck III, defender III, stand your ground, ambush, pressed attack and the rest - logs, snatch, tactics etc. He had one spare point.
He had 75 mana for 3 regens. He was hellcaller lvl 1 with Att 17 Def 22.
Now, fellow players, can you help him pass on paper?  Please share tactics and elaborate on the spare skill point. Maybe he needs to be hellcaller lvl 2 and use seal of power...

Normally I'd pick stoneskin to protect my reinforced ravagers but last I checked their ability was bugged and they could not use stoneskin.. Maybe get those 2 pitlords for reinforcements III, split lilim into 1 unit stacks to build up gating and hope to summon another ravager stack fast but.. Rather risky anyway. I doubt reinforcements would boost pitlords much but it's probably your best bet at tanking. There is only so much might can do, magic would have a lot more tricks to try. And since you lack the ability points for both reinforcements III and intimidation, I'd probably wait a bit.

yeah that match is almost impossible if it's controlled by a human player. the only chance he has is praying for insane luck

Ok first splitting in stack of 1 unit will make all your lilims die from pit lords. If u split in 2 will yield 10+ lilims loss and with unknown benefit.
With the extra skillpoint you can take intimidation (now I tested it works vs neutrals...last time it was grayed out in combat). I will split lilims in 2 stacks most then first turn I`ll kill 100 enemy lilims with pressed attack if I can if not cast intimidation. This buys me 3 turns to kill the ******* lacerator. Then it is easy to tank ravagers and pit lords with only 2 pit fiends plus they don`t suffer from blade of hatred. I think reinforcements III is not necesarry because it gives 1 pit fiend only. Less regenerations are possible via seal of power. For example if you have even 1 pit fiend with 1 hp and u gate a pit fiend  casting on it seal of power you should end the battle with no pit fiends lost. Maybe your idea for intimidation+seal of power means that only 1 regeneration is needed.

Won't the gated pitlords disappear along with the real ones or does the seal make them stay anyway? About intimidation looking greyed out, perhaps when you used it there were no valid targets. Like mind immune or units of same or higher tier than yours.

I mean if your pit fiends survive the battle with 1 hp and their buddies have seal of power on them you will have no losses. After testing it seems that the gated budies need to be alive ofc so you enthrall ravagers last round and gate safely and put seal. No regeneration needed at all this way!

Gameslayer989, with Elvin we turned this impossible battle into no regeneration battle. Bear in mind that there is no enemy hero.

Yes, and I didn`t check later. One may think it is OP but too bad that I changed it on my map so after 15 lvl loot is guarded by champs

Edit : Elvin, I forgot that maybe he doesn't want to take intimidation for final battle. Can you tell reasons why take it.

It's a zero cost no retaliation spell versus lower tiers Enemy units can still use group attacks against your higher tiers but it can be quite useful if handled well.

Yes but it limits my lower tiers too..they can`t attack higher tiers. I don`t know how much I gain when I limit my tactics too.

EDIT: ok, stay tuned for a replay. We lost save and began same matchup from the beginning. I see near garrison I can see his first relic - boots of wayfarer, good that I have +1 movement from day 1. It will be tough race for taking centre..
