His name was Cornerstone, or at least that was what he remembered. In the rankings of powers of super powered beings..he would probably be dead last. He had no super strength, super speed, or enhanced reflexes. Lasers did not shoot from his eyes, and he couldn't even budge a pebble with just his mind.
Before time began, the foundation of the universe had to be placed. That .. is where Cornerstone began. Before the beginning. Immortal, ageless, not even able to be hurt. For to harm Cornerstone, one would have to be powerful enough to harm all of creation..at once. Destroying Cornerstone..would destroy the universe. Though not all knowing..he has lived a very, very long time. So he does know quite a bit. Like that everything, including himself, is in terrible danger.
Like the fact that the three people looking over bikes are the very people he needs to let know that a crack has appeared..and something..has slipped through that crack. Something more dangerous then AIM. Something more terrifying then Alexander. Something headed this way.
He crossed the street to tell them, to warn them..before it was too late.
His presence was instantly sensed by Geist. The life energy of trillions and trillions, bound in a single form is hard to miss. It was if a giant 1000' tall neon sign appeared and pointed at the man.

Cornerstone had made it to the heroes. Frankly he looked like somebody who had been drinking heavily for quite some time, and hadn't seen a shower in years. Scraggly beard, wild eyes, torn and tattered clothing. "She is coming! You have to do something! She is almost here!" he grabs Rainbow Demon by the arms, trying to get his attention. The stench is unbearable.

"Damn my feet are sore!" Thor thought as he walked up the corridor leading from the entrance to the building was Section 3's headquarters. "And my knee-caps feel like hell! Damned I hate busses!" Thor stopped to stretch his right leg as far as possible into the air in front of him "They are so crowded, with so little space for my poor legs." sighing, Thor continued inwards toward the heart of the building "Well, I am soon home. Just got to report to Alex or Alexus and then I can hit the sack." Thor smiled to himself "Home sweet home..." he muttered to himself with an edge of a smile. He could swear he heard old Bart's words echo in his head "Home is where your pillow is kid!" Thor's smile disappeared as he heard the old merc in his head "Shut up old fart, I am way too tired if I am hearing your voice telling me useless stuff I already know!"
Doing his utmost to avoid thinking anything on his way inwards, Thor crossed a few more corners and went through a few more doors before he came across a sight that instantly woke up and revivalized him out of pure surprise and shock. In front of him stood three men, two who he did not know, and out of those two one was holding a jester hat, and the other was dressed in a cape and dress with a weird mask on. But neither of those two interested Thor. Now, what surprised him was the fact that John Strongarm, his "sort of" superior and "tough guy" was standing there wearing a pink tutu! Thor could barely stop himself from falling over laughing.
"S-so.. sor-ry-but*gasp*That-mpff-was j-just s-HAHA-so" Thor took a deep breath and stood straight up again and face John "Hehe, I sincerely apologize, but the image of you in a pink tutu was a bit much!" Thor smiled "Anyway, who are the new guys and what is with the get-up? Is it the 31st of October already?"
"Come to think of it, I did see a guy walking around in armour out in the street...am I really that out of loop with the time?"

Leo glares at Demon before taking the man's arm. Diplomacy, sir. Diplomacy. It's why I have a 92% capture rate... He muttered silently. To the man, he asked calmly and slowly, "Who is coming? Who is 'She?'"
And why was Geist bugging out like his eyes were being repeatedly stabbed with an elephant?

Before John could introduce the group, they had left..so instead he just shrugs. "Glad you are back, when you feel up to it, go see what Alexis is up to. She contacted me, saying something about Stormbringer..but there was some sort of weird interference. I have to get out of this blasted outfit. Think she is in her room."
Meanwhile..
Almost as soon as Geist teleports out with Cornerstone..there is a whistling sound. Then a loud thud as something slams into the ground. A metal pod sits in a smoking crater left by its impact. The pod opens up..and a small metallic girl emerges. Definitely female in form, but that this is a robot is without a doubt. Almost immediately, the small robot (about 5'0" tall) starts opening fire on everybody nearby.

"Stormbringer?!" Thor's eyes widened "What the hell does those psychos got to do with anything?" Thor gritted his teeth "Tell her that I'm on my way, have to report to one of them either way..." Thor started to walk fast paced towards the room he assumed Alexis would be in. "Ain't time to be drowsin' on your throne now, princess!" Bart's voice boomed in Thor's head. Thor sighed "A hero's work is never done..."

He finds her room (the door is open and he can see her inside). She has already changed clothing, and ditched the makeup. She is pacing. "Not good, not good, not good." she is muttering to herself. "Where the hell is John or Alex?" ((Her brother of course, not the other Alex))

When Geist took Cornerstone, Helsing mutters, "Or you could just... do... that..." and then there was the thud and the sound of weapons fire opening up on the citizens around the dealership. "Now what the holy hell is that sound..." He popped his head out to see what the fuss was all about. "Aw damn..." He hated it when there were civilians involved.
Leo clanks outside and moves to stop the she-bot thing from killing more people.

"John is currently unavailable mrs. Romano, he has to change out of a pink tutu," Thor smiled a bit "but he sent me ahead here and I'm sure he will join you as soon as he is decent again." Thor's smile disappeared "Before sending me here he mentioned "Stormbringer", is that the reason for the worried face?"

Headquarters -
Alexis stops..looking at you. "Yes. One of our people brought me a folder about a project called stormbringer. We have to get everybody on finding these 'pods'..wherever they are." ((Remember she does not yet know the pods are in the basement)). "If some idiot lets them free..it is going to be hell to get them contained again." she starts pacing again. "Worse..we are fighting a clock. Apparently some genius put a timer on the pods, set to open up at a certain time. I want you to get word to everybody. This is priority one."
About that time an alarm blares. Reports of hundreds, if not thousands, of pods landing all over the world. Out of each..a female shaped robot has emerged and has started killing innocent bystanders. "Ah crud." Alexis says. "Protect the people now, endanger them later...endanger them now..protect them later. GREAT."

Thor nodded "I agree! Keep those five psychos contained is priority number one!" Thor stopped for a moment "Actually I would consider it priority number two, killing them would be number one.."
That's when the alarm went off and reports of the pods started coming in "Alien invaders! Exactly what my day needed!" Thor said annoyed "I'll find John and check if I can get contact with the rest of the group." Thor started walking, almost running towards the door when he suddenly stopped and turned to Alexis "You don't have Helsing's cellphone number by any chance?"

Alexis thinks. "Just use the communicators. Everybody who goes out to the field should have one with them at all times. I will head toward China to see what I can do about the one that landed there."

"Huh? Yeah, I forgot those things." Thor mutters to himself as he runs out of the room. He sticks his hand into his pocket and start fishing "Communicator, communicator...Here we go!" Thor gets up a flat circle like device. Setting it to send to everyone on the team within distance Thor speaks into the communicators.
"This operative Boanerges calling all Section 3 agents! People we got two serious problems; as you may or may not have already noticed, number one is that a bunch of space pods are falling down onto earth. We have no idea who sent them or where they are from, but preniminarly reports suggests that they are filled with hostile robots! I repeat, they contain hostile robots! However there are many pods and they are falling all over earth, so there is no way we can deal with all of them by ourselves, therefore they are priority number two!
Priority number one is to locate five stasis pods that contain some seriously powerful mutant psychopaths, who are ready to lay devestation onto our beautiful planet! Unfortunately we have absolutely no idea where the pods are, but it is imperiative that we find them! We are also working on the clock here people, some nutjob decided it was a good idea to set a timer for the awakening on these mutants, SO FIND THE DAMNED PODS! I repeat, locate and secure five stasis pods containing five powerful mutants! Once you people have located the pods, then for the love of God DON'T TOUCH THEM call HQ and wait for professional personell to come deal with them.
Operative Boanerges out!"
"Now to find Armstrong."

Armstrong replies via the communicator. "No need to look far the pods,I believe, are the ones in the basement. Think the other Alex went to check on them, but he's been gone awhile."
Elsewhere ((who is doing what with the robot killing civies? Need to know exactly how you destroy it/contain it/lull it too sleep with a boring lecture...))

Over the communicator Thor said "Arright, on my way to the basement. I will radio guys if they are the five mutants we're looking for." Thor ran as fast as he could towards the basement. When he had gotten to the basement, Thor realized that Armstrong had not told him which room the pods where in. Asking Armstrong over the communicator for directions, Thor was once again running through the corridors, when could see the door to the room he had been instructed to a question hit him "What the hell are the pods doing in the basement and why did not Alexis know that they were there?!" Over the communicator he just asked "How did the pods get to the cellar?" as he ripped the door open.

Strongarm replies. "I put them there. They were found on another mission. Haven't had time to do much with them though, with the chaos that happened earlier and the robots from space."
When you find the pods there is absolutely no doubt that the five are the ones that make up project Stormbringer. What is interesting is four of the 5 have the timer set for about a year from now, but one has it set for two weeks. The rather large male. Which doesn't make sense. Scorch SHOULD be the first to be awoken, as he is the leader, and his will would be strong enough to force any of the others to follow him if the 'programming' didn't take hold.
Also, Stormbringer doesn't work without all of them. Though dangerous on their own, only through focusing their power through scorch can the sixth and final member be summoned. Stormbringer is more then just the code name of the group, it is the name of the sixth member. Able to control the most devastating forces of nature. Hurricanes, Earthquakes, and the like. Another reason waking one before the others, especially a year before..makes absolutely no sense.
