List of Heroes
Hey
So far I have both looked at the forums and searched a lot on google, but haven't been able to find a complete lists of playable heroes. I know what you are thinking "You create your own heroes in Might and Magic Heroes 6, so why would you need a list?", but as has been mentioned earlier, then there are some special heroes, which can be obtained through the campaign or perhaps through the conflux(Not sure about that one).
So I was wondering if people who have started to obtain those heroes could add some names, their faction and perhaps even a picture or link to youtube so I(And people who may be interested in knowing this, both newcomers and veterans) can fill their heroes hunger.
BUT PLEASE, NO SPOILERS! I haven't played through the game myself yet and really don't want the experience ruined, so if you think it would compromise the experience, then please refrain from posting.
I can start by adding some of the heroes I know of despite having not played the game:

I haven't started any faction campaign yet but I heard you get to select Might or Magic affinity before you start a campaign. Since you will get the hero(es) from the campaign, does that mean you can get a Might and a Magic one? And maybe with Blood and Tears too? (4 versions per hero or just 1 or 2?)

Not sure about that one, as I said I haven't played the campaign yet. Still waiting to get some issues resolved with ubisoft. But I have played the Beta and in the campaign missions the heroes(Irina), where already determined to be a magic user. I can't tell anything about Sandor's mission, since I had my exams at that time and therefore didn't have the time to play.
Despite this, I think the heroes are pre-determined in regards to Might/Magic affinity. But whether they will become Blood/Tears is up to you, thus I would assume the hero made available in multiplayer would be the neutral version as the hero was, when you started the campaign in regards to their blood or tears relation.

Tbh heroes seem to be back to H4 bland status (gameplay wise). Since you get to select one's specialty as custom hero, there is not much to distinguish one from another, aside portrait.

Still, there should be some special heroes, which can be unlocked. They may not differ in skills, but I assume they have unique models and perhaps a unique trait. Didn't expect them to have any sort of uniqueness besides the looks, which really is all I want to see.

What are you talking about? In the demo, they had their own unique special ability each of them. Did this change?

Let's get one thing straight, I HAVEN'T PLAYED THE GAME YET, besides of the Beta. My collector's edition is currently standing on my shelf wrapped in plastic until I resolve my issue with Ubisoft.
To further clarify on my subject, before the Beta was out we were told, that special heroes could be unlocked for use in multiplayer by playing through the campaign. I haven't played the actual game yet, so I don't know how this works. I could also imagine that some heroes could be unlocked in the Conflux, but that is just my own personal theory, which I have no proof of.
Basicly I like, when a hero dosen't look generic like most of your standard heroes being simply a man riding on a horse, that is why I liked Heroes 5 since each factions heroes were different. So I was really concerned until I some months ago heard, that you could unlock special heroes for use in multiplayer or skirmish, which is the whole point of this thread.
I have no clue if any of the special heroes have any unique abilities to boot, and I honestly really don't care. As I said I like, when a hero is not generic, which is why the above mentioned heroes such as Kraal, Yume and Akasha have my utmost interest. I know that Kraal and Yume should have unique in-game models, unless they chose to change that moments before release.
To sum it all up, then I want to know if there are any other of these heroes with unique in-game models, which differ from the generic knight on a horse model.

I was actually referring to Yasmiel's post. I haven't played the game yet either so I don't know.

First off, Frederik360 was certainly posting about heroes you can unlock through quests/achievements/whatever. Unless that changed, you will unlock Slava after the 2nd prologue map and each of the Griffin children after completing his/her campaign. Other than that, there are some "allies" that will carry over to the next maps like Akamas, the Cyclops hero, but I don't know if you'll unlock him at any point.
To your question Kitten, yes you can select the orientation of the Griffin child you'll play (you can even change his/her portrait and specialization) and change his name, but I'm not sure some combinations are viable, unless you play on easy (I doubt Sandor as a shaman would survive for a long time tbh)

Ah okies. So let say I do make Sandor a shaman, then finish the campaign and get Sandor as magic affinity. When I finish the Stronghold campaign a 2nd time with Sandor as might hero, will I get him again as might or will we only get one Sandor? Otherwise I will bring my duplicate machine

Thanks, I guess it may be a little early to ask such questions since the game was just released a few days ago. But I just really want to know As for Akamas, when you say cyclops hero does that mean that his model on the adventure map look like a cyclop? Is he riding a horse like a standard hero? Or does he walk on his own feet?

Actually it's just the Cyclops model recolored. There's Sharka too and uh Hiroshi, I think? There are others, you can see them in the artwork page. I don't know if they're playable though.
I heard rumors that Crag Hack and Sandro are unlockables? Dynasty heroes or something like that. Dunno about that though...

It was something like that I was hoping for, thanks. Please let me know if you encounter any other special heroes like him, really hope there is a demon-ish hero like the ones from heroes 5, but this surely made my day.

The only one I can think of, who is matching that description is Kraal. But I wouldn't say that he resembles the demon hero from heroes 5 that much, then Akamas comes closer IMO.

Veyer? Come on. He and Sovereign just use the model of the blood and tears might inferno heroes. Nothing special about their appearance.
