Where is everybody?
Guys, the game has been out now for weeks. Where is the community? Less than what? 30-40 games have been played total? I know it's a new game but trust me as you all fell in love with Heroes 3 and 5 you will fall in love with this too. We need some games going. Sick of standing on Heroes 6 waiting for people with nobody showing up from TOH. The more you play the better you get the more you understand how sophisticated the game is compared to previous ones. It is so much fun seriously. So much potential. Please feel free to post me a private message setting up a date and time to play. I will most likely join you.

I agree. I always start a ToH room when I'm login at H6. Most of the time no one is coming to the room.
I've been playing a couple of games and the maps are not that great. So all map-makers please do a copy of some old H3,H4 or H5 map so we can get some better maps to play.

believe it or not I'm still playing the campaigns, on the very last one. Once I've finished, then I will play all the multiplayer maps once, then start pushing the multi and making a permanent room for TOH/widget (at least on whatever server I'd be on).

Can you even use user created maps in the multiplayer? that might be the inspirational problem for map makers.
And I'm still on campaigns as well. Around 70% in.

nope never created maps, just tried and been unsuccessfully  ....and yes playing campaigns mostly.
Just wanted to play balanced maps, revived from H3-5

well atm you CANT play usermade maps in a multiplayer game only hotseat..... 
I've been working around in the mapeditor for a bit
But I lost the spirit of making maps...

theres 2bad Fiur...only bad news I hear; no patch yet, game is full of bugs, just that i found one today with PitLord while playing....just couldnt recruit troops from castle: it was -92899 smth core unite  (second time happ 2me, firstly during the beta I think, so ubi is in holiday atm)
Also, on the week of the owl, i got 1/3 army in the town...may be when supposed nothing to happ, my army got scared
Btw, I hope u didnt lost the apetite for heroes games  and lets say ur maps' inspiration hasnt reach the highest top lvl yet, but just nearby vecinity

yes, a 1.2 patch would be nice. My biggest gripes are the squeaky high speed battle sounds though, so not a game-changer.

There's a couple of people saying they want to play Heroes 6 for TOH and are agreeing with me but not 1 has asked to schedule a game with me when I said I'm usually available. Anyway... yeah I recommend if you're totally a noob the key to a fun popular map is lots of luck (random artifacts everywhere) lots of experience and lots of resources. We're all noobs, nobody is going to realize if your map sucks! Look at maps like Battle Royale and Me vs You and how the Heroes 3 maps evolved from there. Even the massively popular Hourglass map had a 2nd and third edition... even fourth. Nobody is going to judge you. If you have the talent or desire, make a map. We'll all thank you.

Maybe would be a good idea to give info about how to meet TOH players on the TOH website. I remember when I first saw the page, it was hard to find out that TOH communicate via windows live messenger and join the community. If someone has real interest he will find it out eventually, but I can imagine that this can discourage a lot of people.
For example, all new players need to register to the TOH website, there are some rules and info they need to read and follow. If there was a mention about communication, it would be very helpful and useful.

I'm so close to being done with the campaigns et al.. then I will make a presence and be directing on the multi server. The idea is to keep a TOH room open, and direct newbs to register etc...
