You can still get as many Tears of Blood as you want. You just have to NOT click on the button to reach your advanced class before being given the choice between helping Airini or fighting her.

I didn't do it in my original game but I tried later to see the bug and couldn't make it happen. Beginning of second map I upgraded Sandor to Chieftain, then went to the cutscene with Sharka and nothing happened, I have the quests, the town and seem to be able to continue from that. Just a detail, I skipped the cutscene but I don't think it is important. So maybe the problem is another?

I don't know.
I did make a post in the Digital Delux Fiasco thread about taking legal action, though. If you're not satisfied with the product you paid for, you should be able to return it.
