I'm kinda annoyed..
This is not by all means a topic meant for whining, but how come they actually, knowing that griffins' dive is bugged and deals no damage, and knowing that FROM FIRST DAY of closed beta (we reported), release a game with that bug deliberately?
To me it's unacceptable. It's a joke to be aware for months of a bug and completely ignore it, especially if it's a matter of tweaking a single variable or so.

Agree, would love to know what Ubihole's response to this would be...
I just don't upgrade the griffins, besides even if Diving assault (upgrade) did do damage, I prefer Diving attack (downgrade) as it follows the enemy stack to where they moved. Enemy stacks can move around but Diving assualt won't follow them?

And the Sun Riders/Crusaders' jousting ability also still doesn't work, even though it was among the first reported bugs. The cool part is that Haven is an overpowered faction which can safely turtle even without these abilities which allow for very nasty hit-and-run/ranged damage, imagine what will happen when they start working...
Another thing - I'm still occasionally getting the "frozen" screen where you can't check anything outside what the screen currently shows by moving the mouse but only by clicking on the mini-map. Yup, old stuff.

The Sun Riders' ability doesn't work, but the Sun Crusaders' does; the tooltip doesn't reflect this, but the extra damage is applied. What I find funny is that despite this not working for the Sun Riders, the AI still keeps moving them around to maximize the distance travelled with each hit .
Haven't had the screenlock thingy since the latest patch ...
As for the Griffins, I think Imperial Griffins should get both Dive options, with a shared cooldown. That would make them more versatile.

I'm on map 2 of the Haven campaign and just realized that the upgraded griffin ability didn't work lol. (I didn't play beta).
I really hope they patch the game very soon to fix broken abilities. Balancing, which needs to be done eventually, can wait a couple of months if need be.
On a separate note, although still pertaining to necessary patches, I found myself stopping to enjoy the music of the Haven town. I let it play for awhile, loving it more and more, only to remember how gosh awful the town screen is! I had to laugh because I could not imagine a more pathetic looking town of tiny blue roofed huts.

Oh, right, let's make it like in Heroes V - spend half an year fixing bugs so the game can become playable, release a worthless expansion and make sure after another half an year that all the existing factions will actually be worth playing with. Way to go!

I often get the screen lock, usually after loading from in-game. In official Ubi forum, there is a way to avoid this : after loading a game, do not touch mouse/keyboard for approximately 5 seconds. That will prevent the bug.

it was fixed it at least some builds of beta, as i definitely used it (qite a devastating toy) but then between last build and the game they somehow managed to break it alongside the luck animation...

They could have concentrated on the bugs and the balance instead of making a gazillion practically useless achievements for the MMORPG/console junkies to begin with. Right now it's like you have bought a TV which can't receive some channels, messes up the sound and the picture of others and turns itself off for no apparent reason - a technician is expected to arrive after some time but nobody knows when exactly and may fix one of the problems of his choice while retaining his right to break something else in the process. Hm...

UbiHole doesn't seem to have a sense of setting their priorities right and correct budget allocation, even though that did not exceed their pocket money.
Too many bad choices that they now spent precious time and resources to undo. Too many bugs, too many to keep track of, make for a very messy game.
Now all of us are impatient to see changes on the town screens, simultaneous turns, a RMG and many other changes. And we want patches to fix the dozens of bugs. For this game to feel complete, at least its original release, it will take many months more.
I call them amateurs. They've got zero control over the game's release and two patches later, the game still feels like a beta. It'll be much better to drop the series if they can't do it right.

But the most annoying thing is that "Synchronising Save Games" thing you get some times when you launch or exit the game, it can get stuck there for ages.

I tried again , And my Griffings are killing every one in the line of the Dive, So I realy dont know what are u guys talking about. BUT the Champions they ability doesent work

Have you patched the game to 1.1 (the so called "day one patch")? If not, that could explain it because the Imperial Griffin's diving was indeed working at one point during the beta.
