Issue with Custom Map
Hello,
I have created a custom map that I was having issues with in a previous post ([url=http://heroescommunity.com/viewthread.php3?TID=36839]here[/url]), but I found the problem: It shows up as the computer and yourself being on the same team. It thinks you're on the same team and since it's just the two of you it won't let you start. So I went into the editor to try and fix it and I told it not to have any teams. However, when I close the map editor and reopen it, it puts the teams back in as you and the computer on the same team. Does anyone know how to fix this? It's such a small problem, but it doesn't want to fix. Any help would be much appreciated.

What player number are you wanting to be?
I had a single-mission map that I could not get to work correctly until I made the faction I wanted to play as a human...player one.
Also, have you placed any Heroes on the map? They always default to "player one" unless you make the change.

Player one is Haven, which is initially the one I want to be. I made it so that player two, Inferno, can also be played as a human or computer so you can play as both sides.
I have added heroes to the map and they are set to their corresponding factions. One knight as player one, and one demon lord as player two.
I have told the engine in the map settings that I DO NOT want teams, but it always changes back for some reason to the two teams setting and puts them both on team one.
EDIT: Has no one found any fix for this?

I think your problem come from "Singleplayer" map since you want to allow to play both player 1 and player 2 position (1 player and 2 positions contradiction: player 1 is human, player 2 can be human, in this case  bug). You should change your map in a "Multiplayer" map. Open the map with an archiver (Winrar for exemple), then open the folder "Maps" and change "Singleplayer" folder name by "Multiplayer" and save.

Thanks for your reply. That fixed my problem. I didn't realize you couldn't do that in a Single Player map.
