WOG crashes
I'm playing an XL SOD map with 8 players. Two opponents remain, I have almost 10k of each creature, when it's teal's turn, the game freezes. I can't see teal cuz he's in the underground and I haven't explored it yet. What's up with this?

Salamandre's Freeze List:
1) Teleporters on 0 columns
2) AI with summon boat, thousand of spell points but no water skill
3) Resource overflow
4) Wrong object properties (wog only)
5) Playing more than 12 months increase the chance of freezing
6) Monsters on map not set to "not join"-AI will fill town garrisons with them but does not know how to create space when trying to recruit from dwellings and hangs for ever-
7) AI super strong hero (more than 20k creatures in one slot-placing them at start in several slots will not help because AI will pack them as soon as he gets new creatures-)
I experienced the last a few weeks ago in a SOD map too.

A saved WoG game which freezes can usually be unfrozen (at least for several more turns - and then again, etc.) by hex-editing the saved game file to add ERM commands. Certain conditions might be fixable in a SoD saved game also, but I have never tried this.
Use Tab/wogeyeofsauron to see what Teal is doing before the freeze - unless it is a multi-player game. (If so, load it as a single-player game.)

The main reason is probably huge army teal have. In these cases, I find problematic hero, reduce his army using hex editor, write on paper what I took from him and return that to him prior battle with him.

For Era 1.9+ F12 will upload updated scripts from Data\s and apply. For earlier versions russian GUI tool "DEE" (wog era 1.81\Tools\DEE v0.6 alpha\) allows to load script from memory, edit and upload to memory. CTRL+L to load, CTRL+U to upload (for english-readers). After uploading, the gamer should save game and load.
DEE also supports 3.58f but one need to edit "dee.ini" changing Heroes=3.59 to Heroes=3.58
