H3 map problem
I am playing on a very tightly scripted map and my path is blocked by a group of randomly generated monsters. They have spawned at the only landing point and I can't get past them either by boat or by using Water Walk, and there is no way around them. It's not that I couldn't defeat them - they are only gremlins, I just can't attack them.
Is there any way of removing this obstacle?

The only way is.... Restart the scenario .
You may ban weekly monster by script.

Tough rules in this forum, I can't make a new post and I don't like spamming to get my posts up or hijacking someone else's thread, so I'll continue with this one.
I have restarted the scenario and now have a further question. I am fighting in evil fog terrain and some combat spells work while others don't. eg slow works, haste doesn't; dispel works but not cure, a 4th level spell such as resurrection is out but the 5th level summon elementals are OK. etc etc
I'm guessing some spells are considered good and others evil??? If so where can I find a full list. I have looked for more information but all I came up with was +1 moral for evil troops and -1 for good troops, nothing about combat spells.

It's not due to normal evil fog, so it's most probably caused by specific map scripts.
But I suppose you can guess which spell is good and which is evil. Looks logical so far.

As far as I know, the only terrain on which you can't cast some spells is cursed ground, but it bans level 2-5 spells. My best guess why haste doesn't work while slow does is that you are using azure dragons. It is not written in the game, but they are immune to level 1-3 spells. You also need at least 17 spellpower to resurrect azure dragons, assuming you have expert earth magic and no elixir of life artifact.
Another possible explanation is that you have Power of the dragon father artifact, that gives all your troops level 1-4 spell immunity.

Some very smart thinking there. Yes I am wearing that artifact, which I have just acquired. I assumed it stopped enemy spells cast on me, not my own spells. It seemed such a brilliant artifact at the time but if it stops me casting resurrection it's not nearly as attractive.
The reason I blamed the evil fog was just that I hadn't come across that terrain type before.
Thanks for your help.
