That's right, our god who left New World Computing back in the early 2000's has been hired by E.A. some years ago, and is currently at work to produce C&C Generals 2.
PS: Although it's quite obvious, JVC won't be a programmer like he used to be in his first games (d'oh!), but instead in charge of the production of the game.
While the RTS genre was abit "dead" since 2007-2008, and especially the release of Starcraft 2 in 2010 and the death of C&C franchise,the empire strikes back !

JVC may be the producer, but the developer is... Bioware ??! Bioware Victory, a company which previously had nothing to do with Bioware, it had completely different name. Now they're using Bioware as a brand. Eww.
Even if it was the real Bioware, would you trust Bioware to produce a good, bug-free RTS game ?

So, this is generals with basebuilding, ridiculous cartoony combat and incompetenzios are developing it.

I heard this story with Fallout 3 too. The fact is, Bethesda did a better job than Obsidian with Fallout New Vegas. Obsidian are the Fallout creators tho.
PS : Westwood which became Petroglyph ? the same company that then did Star Wars : Empire at war, Universe at War, And the incredibly bad F2P Rise of Immortals ? lol what a switch bro, idk if most of their key members got fired, but Petroglyph really sucks.
When you look at Ensemble Studios (Age of Empire makers) that are now "Robot Entertainment", they are still very talented.

EEeepp Wrong. If we look at Fallout 3 as a fallout game it compares pitifully.
Wayyyy back when C&C games were made by Westwood atleast they were decent, now the series is just another pile of trash spewing from the mouth of the EA gargantuan.

DarkShadow is right. Fallout 3 was a joke compared to Fallout: New Vegas. I am 100% sure that i lost some braincells thanks to Fallout 3's incredibly stupid plot. and Obsidian are NOT the makers of Fallout, they simply have some people in there that used to be part of Black Isle.
as for C&C series, Tiberium and Red Alert worlds are dead but hey, atleast they are doing Generals so maybe they won't totally screw it up.
Too bad that EA games are usually unplayable in multiplayer thanks to bad balance.

Command & Conquer 3 was an excellent RTS (not developed by Westwood, but by EA LA). You can always revive a franchise with a competent team. Talent is all what matters here.
Fallout 3 story may be bad, but the game is epic. Everybody agree that New Vegas is way worse.
Obsidians contains most of its key staff from Black Isle, so i'll say it's 70 % the same company.

Obsidian had to salvage the game and to deal with the huge mess created by Bethesda and they did their job very well, considering the circumstances. New Vegas may not be on a par with the first two games but at least it feels like a true sequel.
As for JVC - after Heroes III his trustworthyness has been... diminishing somewhat. No wonders should be expected.

ughhh 
I have finished them both and as someone who is a fan of the Fallout series I can say that Fallout 3 is an absolute piece of turd in every way compared to Fallout New Vegas.

As for playing them and seeing why, i did that and it's exactly why i consider New Vegas to be so much better. It has better quests, better world, same combat.

Nobody cares yet Steam provides Metacritic score and many games are judged upon score. You take users & Webzines score to have an idea of the overall quality of a game. 91/100 vs 84/100, here is the verdict.

But anyway, it's a question of which you prefer, It's pointless getting further as they are both good games imo.
