[Faction]:The Catacombs
Okay,this is my faction that I prepare for contesting winning in ICTC.Because I really need feedback,I will post it here hoping someone will give me the really needed feedback for this faction.Thanks in advance.
Aka:the Lords of Death,The Masters of the Void
Associated colours: Black,Blood Red,Grey and White
Worship: None.They control the death,the forbidden magic and their objective is the eliminating of the dragons gods and to make a new cosmic balance.
Country / kingdom:large connections of subterranean tunnels,under more important kingdoms,some are even separated
Capital city: Shadow-Gate
Motto:"The age of the dragon gods is over,the true lords are rising to create the new cosmic balance "
Key symbols: the hourglass crossed with a schyte and a skull over
Terrain:Subterranean
Note:This is not a faction for H6,because H6 havs to few resources,crappy town screens and overpowered core creatures compared to elite and champion.This faction is on the old resources system and old town screens,also elite and champion creatures are more powerful than cores ones,despite their numbers.
General Description
Time for centuries no one in Ashan knew about them,but they're very old,older than the elemental dragons,old as the primordial dragons..."Before the elemental dragons,before Asha and Urgash,there was the Void...so much power in nothing...it created the primordial dragons and us...we aren't the creations of Asha or Urgash...but the creations of the same Void...of nothing...". In the darkness of the catacombs decorated with the bones of thousands of killed enemies,dead members of the void and the relics of the greatest leaders of the Void Order.Some of them are true creations of the void,creatures with a nightmarish appearance,humanoids with knowledge and wisdom that not even the greatest mages of Asha or elemental dragons even reached.Some even had a soul,but after death they renegaded Asha and joined to the Order of the Void.A powerful magic,forbidden in Ashan,the power of the Void itself,that can create ruptures in time and space is known by the Order of the Void.Their main objective is to eliminate the elemental dragons and creating a new cosmic balance,considering that this is their legacy from the Void.
Order of the Void
"The sixteen controllers of the Void,eight Oblivion Marshals and eight Reavers(all heroes of this faction), united into the depths of the earth and created the catacombs in the name of the True Power of the Void...and then formed an order which has such a great power taken from the Void itself,that even the Elemental Dragons are afraid of it...Order of the Void controls the underground catacombs and the depths of the Ashan...and it's just a matter of time until the surface of Ashan and the whole cosmic powers will be under their control...Majority of them are True Descends of the Void,with some exception which proved that they are superior to their race and renegaded that they are creation of the elemental dragons,pushing their racial limits and reach to control the the Power of the Void...These which founded the Order of The Void are: Rat-Khall,the Might of the Shadows, Skinneth,the Grand Knight of the Abyss,Deeah-Knee,the Banshee of the Deeps,Akent,the Chosen of the Heavens,Axis,the Eye of the Devil,Straker,the Grave Veteran,Hertha-Nahe,the Widow of the Anguish,Fek-Arion,the cave wanderer,(Oblivion Marshals) and Asinius,the Black Star,Sandro,the Death Lord,Velliona,the Voice of the Void,Nigg-Hath,the Void Master,Shullner,the conjurer of souls,Abudulah,the bringer of eclipse,Y'ghann,the astral walker and Nith-lak,the illuminated(Reavers)
The Catacombs
Build by the Void Order in the depths of Ashan,the Sinister Catacombs are the Impenetrable Citadel of the Void Servants and Controllers.The dark,long and narrow corridors serve as barriers for outsiders and passages between halls for these which embrace the void...The Catacombs are decorated with bones that forms a morbid decoration whose objective is to destroy the morale of these enough brave to enter here...but a few outsiders have the chance to see these horrifying corridors before they die...no long will pass until they will fall under the True Power of the Void. Catacombs are formed from narrow corridors that serves as passages between giant underground halls.The corridors are easy to defend and can be blocked in order to protect the central rooms.The central rooms are spherical and very tall,they can have more levels or floors,central rooms can be dug or inhabited natural caves that are connected with one or more corridors.The Void Order and the entirely Catacombs factions is in an active war with all other kingdoms/factions of the Ashan,considering to be enemies because they worship the Elemental Dragons.The well guarded Catacombs were never invaded,the highest success of the "Elemental Dragons Spawns" was that when they entered in the first central chamber under borders of Heresh,but no one get out alive from there,they were killed to the last soldier.Void Controllers were more successful in military campaigns and even successfully invaded the capital of an important faction.
History

Genesis
Before Elemental Dragons,before the universe,there was nothing,there was the Void.Then from nothing the first particle appeared...the Prime Void Descend...and the primordial egg.The Prime Void Descend was released on a fiery stone...channeling the Void Power,it got colder and it created the planet that we are today,then under its surface founded the corridors that are now the Catacombs...The Primordial Dragons did NOTHING!They just broke that egg and started to scratch each-others eyes and then they just claimed the planet!But what they didn't know...not only their creations evolved...in the depths the Void's descends started the developing of the most powerful faction that not even the elemenatl Dragons will stand against it!
Birth of the Void Order
The sixteen controllers of the Void,eight Oblivion Marshals and eight Reavers, united into the depths of the earth and created the catacombs in the name of the True Power of the Void...and then formed an order which has such a great power taken from the Void itself,that even the Elemental Dragons are afraid of it...Order of the Void controls the underground catacombs and the depths of the Ashan...and it's just a matter of time until the surface of Ashan and the whole cosmic powers will be under their control.The Void Control is officially classified by the order in three affiliations:Matter Destruction,Necrology and Energies Manipulation.
Unleashing of the Behemoth
The Sar-Elam becomes the seventh dragon,this is not good news for the Void Order.This is time to strike before their location is revealed and get attacked by outsiders.The sixteen Void Controllers reunite in the Shadow-Gate to plan an attack against surface dwellers,to exterminate them or at least to keep them busy for a while,until the Catacombs are reinforced.The Void Controllers decided to summon one of the greatest nightmares from another plane directly on the surface of Ashan to deal with the elemental dragons and their servants.Tens of Necrologists,Mages and Summoners from the Shadow-Gate lead by the Reavers and Oblivion Marshals make one of the biggest experiments that Ashan ever seen.During the days of the summoning the Ashan was shaken by earthquakes and the experiments reaches its objectives...An half-decayed gargantuanic beast,covered in blood and black fur,large white spots made from fungi were covering a small part of its back.Its horned head was ugly enough to make all Ashan to tremble in fear,its mouth had giant sharp teeth.Its breath infected air.Deadly and unstoppable,that was the Behemoth.Time for a century this cursed creature,roamed free through the world destroying entirely kingdom,bringing only death and destruction.The Elemental Dragons needed to deal themselves with this nightmarish creature,leading the armies of elves and humans,the dragons successfully defeated temporary the Behemoth,but with the cost of a part of their power.Even if the Ashan dweller thought that all is over,but the Void Controllers gained the needed time.
The Winter of the Plague
The behemoth was destroyed three centuries ago,but the Void Controllers and the Catacombs are more powerful than ever,now is time to weaken the enemy.Shulnner,the collector of souls,one of the mighty Reavers from the Catacombs developed more experiments on corpses,growing terrible bacterias,capable of poisoning outsiders.After years of experimenting,the bacterias were released on the surface.Hundreds of years the Ashan was decimated by a terrible plague.Killing millions of people and weakening drastically the outsiders defense.Lots died,but not all of them stayed dead.The plague mutated some of victims into something else,something horrible,transformed them into ghasts,terrible undead that lost their humanity,savage and merciless killers that feed on living flesh.These undeads added a large numbers of victim to the plague.The enemies are drastically weakened,the Void Armies proceed to the next step.
Allies between Enemies:Founding the Surface Order
The Void Controllers need external agents to spy the surface,to see which plans have the outsiders,to prevent external attack or at least to prepare for them.As the enemies are weaker now after the plague,it is the time to make allies in the enemies lines now,when the outsiders authorities are concentrated on the plague.Several nobles and Mercenary Clans are converted and bribed with gold,precious stones and most importantly,a cure that can heal the plague.Some of them accept,some of them don't and are destroyed.There are several conditions,to keep their loyalty to Void secret and to keep the cure only for themselves.Of course other citizens observe the strange "immunity" to plague of these loyal to Void.In short time the Surface Order gain much political power in several kingdoms.
The Retribution of the BEHEMOTH(The main topic of the Catacombs campaign)
It is the time for a frontal attack,it is the time to use all that Void Controllers learned in the past,it is time to strike with all weapons!The Behemoth must return,it must be resurrected.Now the Void Armies will not do the same mistake,the plague must be released again,the new allies must be used and the Behemoth must return,all of them in the same time and followed by an huge army of the Void forces.It's the Eclipse time,let the demons to take the north,they will deal with the rest,the Void armies will take the Spider's priests,Light Elves and the Holy Empire.Three Catacombs heroes will get the three relics of the Behemoth:Its head,its heart and its claw.Akent,the chosen of the Heavens, will go for Beheomoth's heart at the borders of Irollan.Sandro,the lord of death,will go to the haunted valley of Heresh to get the Behemoth's claw and Nigg-Hath will go into the Holy Griffin Empire to search the Behemoth's Head,after the all will meet in the same place and resurrect the Behemoth.And then the final battle...

Racial Ability:Void Control
Something that mortals can't even imagine,a powerful magic that can be understand just be the Order of the Void,so powerful that even the elemental dragons are afraid of it.The true power of the Void would destroy a normal dweller of Ashan,be it human,dwarf,elf,orc or something else,be it a great mage or a peasant...only the direct Descends of the True Void can control and understand it.Only one single case of an undead human that could control entirely the True Power of the Void and became member of the High Council,Sandro of Heresh,once a necromancer of Asha,but he wanted more,considering that Asha uses them as toys making him incapable to govern the elements at the highest scale,the Void opened his mind.Demonstrating that he is powerful as,if not more powerful than an elemental dragon Sandro reached broke the barrier of the reality and reached to control the True Power of the Void as the Direct Descends of The Void.Still no "true" mortal reached so high limits to control at least a small piece of the Power of The Void....Hero use Void Energy to cast special Void Spells,because these incantations aren't exactly magics,magic resistances,anti-magic,dispel,purge may not work(have only 1/4 chances to block/cure a void specific spell).Void Energy isn't exactly as mana and effects/spells that drain/increase or decrease(the cost) mana won't work.Void Energy can't be used for casting normal mana(a hero with 0 mana and,can cast Void Spells if (s)he have Void Energy left and a hero with 0 Void Energy can cast normal spells if (s)he have mana left).At Catacombs' heroes every knowledge point increase also max Void Energy by 5.Consumed Void Energy is regenerated every day and a day spent in a catacomb town will restore Void Energy to its max.
Basic Void Control:Add +100 max Void energy and allows to learn 2 spells from the 1st Void Circle
Advance Void Control:Add +50 max Void energy and allows to learn 2 spells from the 2nd Void Circle
Expert Void Control:Add +150 max Void energy and allows to learn 2 spells from the 3rd Void Circle
Ultimate Void Control:Add +200 max Void energy and allows to learn 1 spell from the Ultimate Void Circle

Powerful military leaders,members of the High Council,direct Descends of the True Void. Ashan dwellers of any kind,know that when a Oblivion Marshal leave the catacombs and come to surface, it will be followed by an immense army...and will bring only death and destruction. Oblivion Marshals know to control the Void and their ultimate propose is to lead their armies to the battle for the New Cosmic Balance and controlling the elements at the highest scale in the name of the Void...

A giant eye that reveals the exact numbers of creatures in enemy heroes armies and neutral stacks that stay in the town's line of sight.

Shrine of Despair
The horrible structure made from bones of thousands of dead enemies,with the imprisoned souls of these which were slain by the blades of the Void Controllers.Every two turns,the imprisoned souls screams dealing minor damage,devastating the morale of the attackers.

Astral Node
"A portal to a parallel plane.A different plane,no living being,no matter,but just pure energy."Increase Void spells resistance to dispel by 30%.

Gargoyle Parapets
Grotesque statues of winged beasts along the walls silently watching over the fortress,turning to life and attacking anyone that threaten the Catacombs.During a siege the gargoyles will attack at random every turn an enemy stack.

Forgotten Library
In the cold and terrifying corridors of the ancient library are stored the sacred spells of the Void Power.The horrific structure is decorated with bones and gargoyles that would scary any mortal...The Forgotten Library adds Void Spells in the mage guild also boosts permanently visiting heroes knowledge by 1(works only once per hero)

Neverending Light
"It shines from century and it will never stop". Boosts Void Energy of the visiting heroes by 10%,once per hero.

Earns your kingdom 5000gold/day,also instead of boosting creatures growth by 50%,it adds a 3rd upgrade for every creatures(Grail Upgrades) making them stronger and giving better abilities.Also it boosts max Void Energy of every hero by 50% and increase Void Spells power by 20%.

CORE
Hatsvar
Not only the elemental dragons created races...the Void did the same...but the Void creations are more horrid than that elemental dragons created...one of the horrible spawns of the Void is the Hatsvar,a small but cunning creature,without eyes,that is guided only by the rotten smell of dead flesh...and sometimes even fresh blood.Hatsvar have horrible tentacles around their small mouths,that are used to grab food,and sometimes are used to protect themselves against their enemies.The horrid Hatsvar is a scavenger,eating usually corpses,but they never refuse living flesh,usually staying and feeding in large groups to intimidate predators bigger than them,sometimes these groups of Hatsvars enters in a blood frenzy and start hunting large prays.In the catacombs there are enough of these horrid creatures to assemble large armies,female Hatsvars usually have 37-100 eggs once,however these creatures aren't friendly with other kinds than their own,but as any spawn of the void they feel the Void Power and can be controlled using it,but outsiders that aren't capable of using the Void Power will be considered not more than simple food.

Void Spawn:Beign created by Void they understand it and take less damage from Void Power spells(only 80% from the total damage).
Naturally Blind:This creature was born blind,so it is immune to Blind spells
Scavenger:This creature can restore its health and even their numbers by devouring the enemy corpses lying on the battlefield within its movement range.Health gained is equal to 20% of the dead stack's Hit Points.
Blood Frenzy:This creature can enter in a blood frenzy attracted by the smell of the fresh blood after a wounding,increasing its damage by 50% for the next hit(150% damage for the next hit)

The cold rivers of the underground mutated the Hatsvar into something powerful...The Hatsvar that live in the ice-cold rivers of the underground claws gained resistance to cold and can survive at temperatures that would freeze the blood and cause the instant death of a normal human.Their skin is much more tougher than that of their lesser cousins,the normal Hatsvars.As the rest of Hatsvar species,they have tentacles around their mouth and generally eat corpses,but unlike normal Hatsvars,Frozen Hatsvars have sharp claws used to cut the flesh of corpses and living prays or enemies.They also hunt and live in large groups,but they can also stay under water,to avoid the uninvited guests that come to take their food,they drag the corpse in the ice-cold water,which have also the effect of keeping the meat fresh a long-time.Frozen Hatsvars have also a cold breath that they use to freeze their enemies in order to slow them down.

The Endless Abyss is the most powerful source of Void in this world,its power is so great that it mutated so drastically Void Spawns,giving enormous strength,that no surface dweller could ever dream.Under Endless Abyss' influence,even the Hatsvar became ultimate predators.The Frozen Hatsvar that lives near the Endless Abyss,change their skin color from gray and pale blue to true coal-black,making it tougher than boiled buffalo leather.It senses are improved and despite they don't have eyes,they can guide excellent using their tactile and olfactive senses.Dead flesh and carcasses don't satisfy anymore the Abyssal Hatsvar,guided by fresh blood these creatures attack with frenzy any potential prey.Their claws are significantly larger than Frozen Hatsvars' ones and can be compared with steel scissors.

Spit Corpse:The horrible Abssal Hatsvar can eat a whole corpse and accelerate the cadaver's decaying in its own stomach,then regurgitating it together with a quantity of gastric acid on a target that is not farer than three tiles away.The corpse spiting attack deals 150% damage and also 50% more damage over 4 turns thanks to intoxication.

Death is in the air,the smell of rotten flesh is everywhere,it can even kill,this smell is so powerful...but in fact I like this smell.The grotesques are abominations made from dead flesh on the fresh battlefields by the mad-minds of the Reavers and Oblivion Marshals.Grotesques are made from about 3-4 corpses,and in this process the casters make like corpses to explode and after,the mass of gore is united into an abomination of flesh,blood and bones.The process of rotting is slowed to keep the flesh fresh and like this monster to be an excellent slaughterer.Between the flesh and blood,grotesques also contain the bones of the corpses,around a couple of skulls,lots ribs and some bone limbs,but also some bone claws used to kill the enemies.Grotesques can use parts of their own body as projectiles.These abominations will annex the living beings which they killed to their own bodies,making them even deadlier and bigger than before.

Thrower of flesh-Parts from it started to fly in air killing everyone"-that said the survivor of an unsuccessful camping against undead.These undeads can shoot with their own flesh in enemies,making and throwing balls of flesh and sharp bones,but if they will continue,there will won't be any flesh spawn.Can use its own hp as ammo.
Gore Abomination-"It started gathering corpses in its own body,that was disgusting"-that said General Kendal after his legion was decimated by these slimy creatures.This creature is entirely made from dead flesh,bones and blood.However,this horror can lose parts of his improvised body in battles and as on any battlefield are hundreds of corpses,these creatures can exploit them,annexing them to their own body.These can heal and even resurrect using a dead stack.The number of healed hp/resurrected creatures depends on how much hp had the creatures were in the dead stack
Void Embraced:Beign created by Void Descends,even if this creature can contain dead parts from outsiders, they understand the Void Power and take less damage from Void Power spells(only 80% from the total damage).

Blood is one of the most important liquids of living beings,it contains three types of cells and carries nutritive substances,oxygen and carbon dioxide.An adult have around 5 liters of blood.But also this vital liquid inspire fear and is associated with pain when it comes at surface and Void Descends profited of this when they created the Horrors.The raising process is similar with that of flesh spawns,only differences is that there is put more accent on blood and bones than on flesh,so there are used 5-6 corpses.Having bigger bone claws and covered in tens of liters of blood,these abominations inspire fear and their blood can often contains diseases.The blood diseases will infect the living enemy body at attack,when blood spawn will push its bone claws covered with blood directly in living flesh.Their horrifying appearance is enough to scare anyone that faces the Void Descends...

The Void creations are the most bizarre from all.The gigantic five-headed monster named Xerraodor,lives in the deep caverns and the horrifying catacombs.The Xerrador is naturally blind as it doesn't need eyes in the totally darkness of the underground caves,the other senses are sharpened and assure them to orientate freely in pitch darkness,they can hear and smell from miles away,there is no way to fool this creature as it can feel the pray,even without seeing it.A horror in the underground and the same in full daylight,its nightmarish appearance is enough to scare even the bravest warriors.Terrible deadly gazes are breathed by the three small heads of this monsters,deadly enough to kill entire armies.
