I remember the few levels I played as a kid, blissfully unaware of the hell the game had in store for me when I got older.

No, I did not finish IWBTG. I was repulsed by it's lack of fluent controls, making this relatively easy memory game a "fight with keyboard" one.
I like the "i am the guy" way of describing a monumental videogame task tho
