Poll Question:
Your favorite corpse?
Well, as you most likely guessed, this is the poll where I ask the question of what your favorite undead critter is. Now remember guys, vampires are all sparkly and prissy, why the scythe wielding aspects of death are just misunderstood... 
Once again, I only list the basic forms. Both upgrades are fair game and you can mention that you coted for a creature because of its upgrade (ex: Vote vampire for the vampire prince upgrade).

As you may have guessed, I'm partial to the Wraith. Why? It is death. With a scythe. And I can get hundreds of them. Also, in large numbers they seem to deal not only the most damage of Necropolis's creatures, but seem to take the most to kill as well. All in all, I just love to use them.

I vote Bone Dragon, for their style in H5 and the mamory of H2/H3 bone dragons. The simple idea of a flying dragon skeleton is legendary by itself!

I voted Wraith, necros mid game core unit. Liked Vampires and dragons in homm 3, but in homm 5 both units were nothing impresive.

As much as I like vampires and their upgrades, they seem to die quickly even with vampirism and no retaliation/sleep.
The purpose of undead units is to soak up damage while the Necromancer summons and darks and destroys with his spells. Ghosts do this job so well I want to bash my computer screen in. It literally seems like I hit them 1 in 3 times, effectively giving them 3 times the hitpoints they should have.
Split them into stacks and you have better tanks than Treants or Gargoyle swarms. And that's not even factoring in Raise Dead (I remember when Haunted Mines was something you could get too, instead of the RIDICULOUS change in TOTE linking it to Leadership).
Ghosts for the win. But vampires are a very close second, especially with raise dead and last stand, which is borderline exploit.
Bone Dragons are terrible in H5, Wraiths are decent and aside from Vampires the only unit you can count on to do some damage..but they are nothing terribly exciting. Liches are good for the Raise Dead spell on the alternative upgrade but they won't win the match for you. Zombies may be the worst unit in H5. Skelly Warriors are good.

how can ANYONE vote for ghosts?
omg at one point I was thinking of quiting with H5 JUST because of those!
they are so so much better in H6!

It's strange Wraiths are leading and during the game's hot-times everyone on the net hated that unit and replaced it with Death Knight in mods.
By the way, I can imagine the pain a former grammar-geek must suffer over this "Litch"

hum, the wraiths look cool but are a bit lacking when it comes to abilities. well, actually wights look better.

They are pretty much the only tanks that necro gets, and do rather decent damage. And yes, Wights are sexy.

I vote for it though. I love the Archlich even though it's hard to properly enjoy the AoE cloud with how easily they are blocked off.
