dragon said: Dear Bersy,
I want to ask you if you can fix in town transfer dialog between two heroes. It should work with HD mod with ALT+LMB combo on any hero(town or garnison), but with your new versions does not.
I tried 4.207 HD mod for which I know that works on 2.46 ERA but still doesn't work.
Thanks in advance
Apparently you downloaded somewhere my script:

Hello fellows, long time since I've modding Heroes 3 and want to return.
I've read that Era II has all WoG inside, and much easier, but I want to start with my old WoG settings for now, I have the 358f version (I think still the last one, correct me if I'm wrong), my questions are:
1. May I later isntall Era II over my WoG? or should I uninstall?
2. If I install WoG, I don't remember if I can uninstall it easily.
3. Is the Era II better in any way than WoG? (I'm not refering to any possible new content, just in WoG settings, bugs, etc.

Thank you, I've installed Era II over Heroes 3 Complete, and got "unlimited" error messages when load a game.
(That is the reason I want to start with my old WoG instead)...
Maybe is because I'm using an HD mod to play on widescreen (I've downloaded the last version named HoMM3 HD 4.100 RC6)
Is there a guide to install Era II? (I can't find it) and is it complatible with widescreen mods? (or maybe it not requires one?)

Era had lately and in a very short time a lot of different beta releases with various bugs to fix. There was 2.46 which was safe, and now it seems 2.66 is safe again. 2.46 can be found HERE, 2.66 is Bersy's signature, check releases folder.

If you mean you loaded a wog 3.58 game, then no, is not compatible.
Era is also compatible with HD mod, no reasons to worry.

Was yesterday, the version of Era II was 2.6.6. With the HD mod. In Heroes complete (not WoG installed).
I've installed again and AVG detects "defka.exe" as a threat. I know that is a false positive but maybe was the cause of all of those erro messages. Is that tool necesary?

Packages are clean, but if in doubt, you can delete defka, is not at all necessary. However a false positive will not give error message in game.

Salamandre, about my first question: "what does it better than WoG, just using WoG?", apparently it is the same WoG than I ve been playing time ago. According I've read, it is a "mod manager" (like in Skyrim), and WoG is only one of these mods, but it would be the same if I install WoG separately?

You are welcome, kel
Quote: I just have one more question here how can i turn off bigger spell book, we have a mod bigger spell book already
I wanted to fix background and colors and still replace spellbook in basic Era package, because bigger spellbook is a so native-like and handy change. You can disable it by making a mini-mod (we will help), but is there any reason to exclude it from main package?

Install WoG Revised or copy 80 wog - jv scripts.erm script to Datas from previous packages.

It has much more powerful debugging capabilities like scripts hot reloading and human-readable erm-tracking crash dumps. There are also fixes to executable file and WoG engine. Without additional mods it's just a handy platform to run WoG.

@Bersy
Mod is already installed so I've tried with copying 80 wog - jv scripts.erm to Datas but it again din't work. However, problem was fixed with copying script8*.ers files to Datas.

Hi!
I'm experiencing crashes, when entering combat, the game crashes.
The crashes seem to happen mostly when I attack a town or a garrison - this happens 7-8 out of 10 times approx.
When I attack an enemy hero, the game crashes in 1 out of 10 times approx.
When such an error occurs, the only apparent solution, is to reload, then choose quick combat instead.
Each time, when the game crashes, a crash log is created, could anyone please help me getting it "translated"?

Worthless report, what version, what mods, what map, Mp or single, what OS etc etc. As for crash report, just paste the part where there are scripts, usually the first 10-20 lines.

Val, replied in ICQ. Fonts will be changed as soon as possible.
@Warmanger, thanks. Currently only system scripts support is added (acting like plugins). API is ready for any memory access, patching, event (un)subscribing and firing, executing ERM and accessing ERM memory and installing custom hooks in code like that:
era.bridge(0x4EEEA5, function (context)
era.trigger('OnGuiStart')
return 1
end)
Events handling is simple:
era.on('OnHeroScreenMouseClick', function (event, handler, eventName)
erm('VRz2:S^newmonth.wav^; SN:Pz2;')
print('FIRST')
era.off(eventName, handler)
end, { priority = -1 })
Documentation is currently on Russian forum only, but I hope the things will change. I want to add Lua OOP wrappers for most ERM commands like erm.hero(HERO_ORRIN):getSlot(4).type == MON_ANGEL.
Version 2.7.1
------------------------
[-] Fixed 2.7.0 nightly build bugs. It's recommended to delete manually Big Spellbook mod and install the updated one from wakeofgods.org/mods/ if Era is installed over previous 2.6.X version.
