By doing that you would limit the possibility of mods that can be applied to ERA. After using ES you can roughly add only 500kb of .erm file which corresponds to 10000 lines of code, after that you get on Error saying Internal Memory over 30Mb. I tested it and it is a problem.
So while in principle okay with the idea it needs to be considered carefully.

Or in other words: by doing this you would render several mods incompatible with ERA by default.

I will probably try to increase ERM memory limits in the next release (either to 60 MB or to infinity).

Sorry, Val, !?MP/!!MP will be fully rewritten in a thread-safe way, thus old code using old !?MP/!!MP will need adjusting. Currently music is played in one execution thread, while main code (including ERM, dialogs, actions) is executing is main thread. The issue is that !?MP event occurs in music thread, but calls ERM. So there is always possibility of random crash and data corruption even with UseSingleCpuCore=1, because 2 pieces of ERM code could be executed in a parallel. Try playing with

!?MP;
!!IF:M^^;

New approach will use Heroes 3 functions for music controlling:
Play Theme, Pause Theme, Resume Theme, OnPlay. All of them are executed in the main thread. The corresponding safe trigger and receivers will be added/replaced (!?MP, !!MP S D C).

Era II and WoG version

Hello

I am new to this forum and I would like to know whitch version of ERA II should I use in order to play Wake of Gods.I mention that I have the complete version of HoMM3 from GOG and I use Windows 10 64 bit.

Hi!
GoG Complete + Era 2.8.3 is enough. Run Era Start Menu -> Mod Manager and enable Fast Battle Animation for fast battle animation and Yona for kill/damage statistics in battle log.

But do you know a safe place from where I could download a working ERA setup?
Last time I had ERA 7.7 and when I was starting WoG it was giving me an error.
And also,does ERA works with HD mod?Can I open WoG from HD launcher?

Ok, but can I use some UN to restore them only for 300 spartans and Atlantis (as I do until now) because I don't feel like rewriting hundreds of lines of codes?

I have a bug that caused the game to completely freeze on the AI turn.

I have been trying to isolate it to try to understand whats going on, and it seems like the issue is that in the specific SOD map (with wogify) that I am playing (the fall of atlantis) there are a lot of prisons, the AI is getting too many heroes, and when this gets into a specific number, the game collapse.

The reason I am saying it, because if before I finish my turn, I am killing any enemy hero (no matter which color), the game don't get stuck.

I think this is also the reason why I am getting black squares instead of heroes in the tavern from time to time.

I am using GOG heroes 3 complete + ERA II 2.8.3 + better AI + WoG revised, so nothing fency.

Download this plugin (link), and put it in a folder "WoG"->"EraPlugins"
And try to continue the game. Perhaps help.

No, you do not need to start a new game. So it will not help.

Usually after 12th month of playing, this bug has much bigger chances to occur. More you keep playing, more chances it has. The only solution is to finish maps in less than one year, and is not at all related to wog, but original game problems/.

hi Bersy, time ago I created a simple package with new creature icons, all they had to do was copy and rewrite the old ones in ModsWoGDatazvsLib1.res folder.

But in the new version, even after overwriting, the old icons appear. don't you know where the problem might be?
