So what new faction awaits us in expansion?

Here is a question I am asking myself while playing H6. It may have already been discussed, I'm sorry but didn't read the whole board.
And no, don't be scared, I won't ask you which faction you would like most to see in the probably-coming expansion.

No seriously, here are my thoughts; for the moment, racial abilities are filled with:
- high morale
- lucky/unlucky strike
- damage done
- damage recieved
- attack on various target (the most inventive)

If an expansion is ever to be released, it will surely include (a) new faction(s). What event would trigger the filling of the racial jauge? That's a good question I think because it helps figuring what kind of faction could step in. Here are some examples, my first thoughts:

- when a spell is launched? i.e. an active capacity from magic tree; that could fit a magic-oriented facion (academy, dungeon), and need some spellcaster creatures
- when a creature is resurrected (be it heal, regeneration or drain life)? would only work on living creatures of course; good for life-worshipping faction like elves
- when a creature moves / don't move? I don't know how that could be linked to a faction, but it's a combat choice/action; indeed, shooters do not move when they strike - a good racial for elvish hunters?
- when a creature "waits"? because that action is often used in combat (mostly early but used); that could fit a faction aiming at thinking, braining... like academy for instance
- when a creature defends? that one could easily fit dwarfs' strategy

Do you see other possibilities?

I see another possibility. A very simple one.

Over time. The racial fills up to a certain degree at the start of every turn, but doesn't fill by doing things. Buildings and skills could alter the rate at which it fills, but it never does by a trigger mechanic.

Some sort of wheel-of-time thing... that could have been well thought for Necropolis. Maybe for Sylvans?

Everytime multiple targets are affected

AOE spells, mass spells, (H5) mage attacks, Rakashasa Kastra attacks, etc

I had proposed a gauge that fills when the enemies move. or perform some specific offensive actions. when it is full, you can bind an enemy and severely cripple his stats.

How about this one for Dungeon (Dark Elves):

- Gauge fills up whenever creatures are hit by opposing elemental damage (so hitting a frozen unit with a fire ball, or blasting a grounded unit with a lightning bolt);
- Dungeon units deal damage effects that augment this gauge;
- Using the gauge will increase your crit chance and crit damage for the next spell you use;

And this one for Rampart (Elves):
- Gauge fills up with Lucky hits;
- When the gauge is used, you get one extra shot for each level. When attacking, you select multiple targets before the attack is really made. Of course, being a Ranger, these are arrow shots, so the Hero doesn't run around the battlefield hitting everyone in melee;

For Academy, capitalizing on the Artificing from H5:
- Artificing is done through the special building of Academy and provides 3 augment slots for each creature that can be filled with a specific stat boost;
- More towns with this building provide a higher stat boost;
- Gauge fills up when magic damage is dealt (any school; own spells fill more than enemy spells);
- Using the Gauge will activate as many tiers of Artificing on all the players' creatures as the Gauge is filled, for one full turn;
