Campaign Creation
So, this shall be a place for all those who wish to enter in an epic competition of epicness - the creation of some epic, awesome campaigns. It works simple: Whoever wants to enter, can do so! Each Round, I'll give you a task to fulfill, which allways is about creating a campaign, but I'll give different restrictions. Later, if enough people enter, we may also create a set of campaigns here over some rounds. But first, let's get started into this.
First, my expectations:
-First of all: This is not about creating campaigns with any map editor of the HoMM games, but about creating them "on paper". Included shall be storyline as well as some gameplay aspects, yet you do not need to add every detail of every scenario, maps or such.
-You don't have to write novels! That's important! You won't get more points the more you write. However if it is still good, you CAN write much, but if you don't want to write much, yet someone else does, do not feel pushed back! Important is quality here, not much or few words.
-Story is most important here, obviously. Nevertheless aspects of the game should be mentioned as well...participating factions, colours, difficulty of the scenarios and so on. It can also depend on the campaign itself (if f.e. a legendary artifact is to be combined and then used, you woudl obviously have to talk about that on a gameplay level as well)
-When I do NOT give any restrictions on the respective area, you are completely free on which game mechanics, setting, faction/s, number of scenarios, etc.. Mostly, however, at least one of these areas will be given
-Using new/invented content is allowed, as long as it's explained, however keep in mind it is the campaign that is judged.
Round 1
So, let's get started easy and slowly. The task for the first round is to make a SMALL campaign. It shall have only 3 scenarios, and none of them on a large (or even XL) map.Otherwise you are completely freely here on story, faction and so on.
So much for now, let's just get started 
Deadline is Friday, the second of march.

yes, you can, if you want. But the campaigns, and not the factions, will be judged.

Well, I'm not too harsh, and if you want, you can also just share your faction, but say you don't want it judged.
On this round, you can use any HoMM system and setting you like.

I haven't made a real campaign ever but I had lots of unfinished ideas.
I'm not dissing your idea, Jiriki, but I wouldn't know what do to for this campaign and I really have other things on my mind right now.
Maybe I'll join after I gain more map-making exp or take a look at other entries.

I think gameplay should have a big factor here. A campaign should be fun to play and you should get points for making missions with fun, original objectives. A game which had many fun, original missions in the campaign was Starcraft 2.

@all: since there seems to be different understandings in this: As I originally intended this, to participate, you do not need to make a complete campaign in one of the HoMM editors! That would be an aweful lot of work for which I'd give MUCH more time than a week each round. Even a month would be quite a hard task for such, imo. Also, I have no pc in the moment, thus wouldn't be able to play through them and that qwould be necessary to judge.
Instead, this is about creating a campaign on paper.Not every detail of every scenario, but the story, how the missions are, how it evolves, etc. Of course, gameplay is still a factor here, but needs to be described, not created.

I know it's supposed to be a campaign(proposal) on paper. I got that. I just don't have much time this week. And I'd rather spend the time to make something better for a future round than make something halfarsed for this one.
