Poll Question: The best way to start your day?
Since most heroes (with the exception of Vayshan, Razzak, Laszlo, etc.) start with teir 2 creatures, that's how I named my poll for today, which I kept you waiting on .. I hope...
So: What's your favorite teir 2 creature? Speak your mind! Nobody minds! And as always ... oh, for the love of god! I sound like a ****ing bot! I'm not typing that sentence again! GAAAAAAH! JUST VOTE!

Wind dancers Pwn all the newbs. Getting equal defense to a lvl6, and moving before (and farther) than any of the other lvl 2s made this choice easy for me.

Blood fury:
Speed = 8
Highest initiative = 16
Strike and return
Compliments their faction the best.
That's why they are always the highest proirity target for AI than any other tier 2.....

If we are talking the end battle...the only tier 2 that seems to make a difference is the Obsidian Gargoyle.
All the others are dead too quickly and targeted first (except the Wind Dancers, I agree they are awesome too but are vulnerable to dark and destruction). Obsidian Gargs compliment their faction amazingly, as they are usually the last to die in a long fight; no one targets them until the battle is nearly over and surprisingly, they have massive hitpoints for their tier and defense and immunity to dark and (nearly) destruction. Plus, they are cheap and come in many numbers.
I think it was Doomforge who did extensive analysis and called them the best tank of all tiers (in terms of growth per week) slightly edging out Treants.
Throw in a mini-artie to add health and hitpoints and watch out.
Furies are great early on but so brittle in a real fight. Archers and Centaurs are okay with the right specialist hero; Zombies/horned demons/spearmen = awful.

Yep, this. No needs for an Ammo-cart. Once you tire of shooting, you can use them for melee.
Also, coffee and a newspaper. I'm an old-fashioned kind of guy.

@ Adon -> agree with you on gargs for end battle in terms of defense and strength in numbers....
But are they your favorite? They are quite boring....
Blood furys are the most exciting and fantastic tier 2 esp. for creeping.....can't really creep with gargs

Centaurs don't have to be upgraded to be awesome, so that's where I voted.

Oh true...I guess Blood Furies and Centaurs are more fun; and early creeping can be as game making as the end game fights. I early creep with spells, gremlins and golems with the gargs blocking for my grems when I play Wizard. They don't do the work like BFs or Cents or Archers.
But..I actually do "like" Obsidian Gargs. They feel like the rocks they are when you play them. I guess I stand by my choice, even if I agree with you that they aren't necessary for early creeping the way some of the other tier 2s are!
