If I had one I would. I always used to wear a watch. I don't usually bring my phone anywhere with me because I don't see the point, so I would wear a watch. I hate it, though, when my arm hairs get stuck in it. lol

It depends on where you live. Here its VERY common to take our your phone and look for the time. And no one will ever think it's rude. I actually Loled at your post.

Will someone actually care? The shop guy is just someone who sell LG products. Not the LG company head???
You see? I'm doing it all the times when I need - in class, during exam, during conversation, in the bus, in all kinds of stores. All I know are doing the same.

In the US it's against federal regulations to have your cell phone turned on, unless you have an airplane mode.
EDIT, there are also times when I do not have pockets or am otherwise unable to carry a cell phone, and thus having a watch is handy. For example: when I'm in a swimming pool or at the beach.
