New faction annouced! (April Fool's)
THE FORGE IS BACK!
Eagerly awaited by the fans of Might & Magic since the days of Heroes III, the Forge has finally found its way back into Heroes!
The discovery of a crashed spaceship on Ashan leads to a fierce battle to control and exploit the technological wonders of this mysterious starfaring race. Out of the cosmic ashes, a new Faction is born, the ultimate merge between Magic and Tech: THE FORGE!
Meet the first four creatures of this new Faction:
The gun-slinging Grunt
The flame-throwing Pyro
The jet-packing Jump Soldier
The missile-shooting Tank.
The world of Might & Magic will never be the same again!

Yea.. especially after what Elvin pulled.. But this one actually made me laugh.. But more in a nostalgic way..
But one clue could be there.
The goblin grunt, pyro and the naga tank are all based on the original Artwork from Heroes VI. So the Jetpack minotaurs could be a hint ... could be...

It could be, though that Minotaur looks familiar. I think I've seen it before. Also it looks a different style than the usual concept art. But it could be.

And I agree, the minotaur could be a hint for the Dungeon Faction...maybe for the first expansion?

Although I know, it's just an April fool's picture, I must say: what a pity! Those artworks (especially the Minotaur) look awesome, and I really hope, they will make an appearance... at least as some Easter Eggs... after all, the Pandaren were also just April jokes in the beginning

May I ask why? Those are from 75% remade original heroes VI artworks. What is so much better on them? You can even see that the grunt still has a Bumerang in his hand.. And that the pyro holds the hose in the same way as the sentinel his spear.
And a part from the 5 years difference in technic.. I can styll see the similarities of the Jetpacktrooper and the H V minotaur...

Yes, I know it is just a remake, but this remake is a huge improvement as well (maybe except of the Goblin/Grunt, because they have the same degree of good look to me).
---This whole post is composed of my subjective feelings and opinions, so please, share your views of the Forge as well---
The Pyro IS based on Sentinel, but his suit is much more practical, and lacks the over-decoration of Sentinel's armour. Sentinel (and Praetorian even more) looks like a fancy royal guard, that has more representative, than fighting purpose. But Pyro looks like a man of action, a real battle-hardened soldier, who's suit and gun are the only friends...
Minotaur looks awesome simply, because it is Minotaur in H6. I suppose he is a remake of a Dungeon unit. And even without the minigun in his hands, he looks much more feral, bestial and scarier, than the Minotaurs in H5...
And Kenshi, yes, he was cool. But a deep naga in a tank, with a gun, dressed in a uniform, with a scarf over his face... is just BADASS 
I hope, this post explains both my excitement and the reason, why I consider the Forge units better to their fantasy equivalents...

That minotaur could very well be a Dungeon artwork originally...
I mean, considering that all the others are remade versions of other creatures...

Personally I don't see the reason for the hype for the Minotaur, it looks exactly like the H5 one as far as I can tell, but then Minotaurs in Heroes always left me with an empty feeling for whatever reasons.
I think the Naga tank is really well made, and the flame thrower guy is downright scary.

@Elvin But he does look very similar to the one in heroes V. Same pose, same horns, the resemblenc is there
