When fat is not fat enough
If you are fat and want to work one hospital in Texas don't even bother applying. The hospital won't hire you if you are fat...unless you are morbidly obese. Being morbidly obese qualifies as a disability so the hospital can't count that against you. Bon appetit.
Sometimes laws dreamed up to "make things fair" result in decidedly unfair situations.

I fully agree with this. Nurses and doctors should represent what it means to be healthy (within reason) being morbidly obese and practicing the advancement and preservation of health, is a contradiction if I ever saw one.

Some people have a messed up metabolism and just can't seem to burn what they eat. Of course there are always those who just like eating..

Who doesn't? I can eat two pizzas one after another and can continue if I'm not dizzy.
But I don't get fat, lose weight on the contrary. Strange.

It will change with years, Nocturnal. When I was 20 I could eat like an ogre without any problems, but after 35 it started to store everywhere. Then I went up to 125 Kg, it was so depressing and ugly. After 6 months very strict training, went back to 93 Kg, which is what I should have (200 cm). Now I have to pay attention every day, run 10 km every two days, + 1 hour home sport daily. If I stop, weight quickly come back.

I know girls that have similar digestion issues as Nocturnal. They are incredibly skinny, in spite of eating McDonalds for lunch every afternoon. In fact, they need to take prescription pills in order to GAIN weight.
Some people simply have a relatively quick metabolism, while other have not. I personally have been gaining weight for the past few months, but then again, I never really did any sports and tend to snack a lot. I recently however started doing minor "work outs" if you could even call them like that, and stopped snacking, and I've started to slowly lose weight.

Wait 2 pizza? I was able to eat more than 2 kg. Yes, you can fatten up, eat 7 times a day. Does not affect the outdoor fattens.

I've always thought that my effective absorption of nutrients and energy from foods was a sign of health ( as a matter of fact I still do), not very viable for 'modern' lifestyles though.  .

How big are these pizzas? 
I'm not a big eater, which makes huge eaters blow my mind all the more. If I were to eat a single pizza by myself I would throw up, assuming I could eat 1 pizza by myself, which I couldn't. 2 slices and I'm satisfied. 3 slices and I'm full. 4 slices (which I don't do) and I'm unhappily stuffed.

Then they probably need to eat less. The hunger will be really unpleasent, but it seems obvious if they don't eat anything at all, they'll lose weight and if they eat what they do now, they'll gain weight. Ergo if they eat an amount somehwere inbetween, they'll get closer to maintaining weight.

European pizza's are really really small compared to american ones. E.g. a typical pizza for one person, where I'm from, is probably around 1 pound in weight.
Edit: Btw. I don't see the point in alienating certain types of food. Or I see a point, but I think that's just making people taking less responsibility for their own actions. Everything we eat, will either be used to build reserves (fat), muscles (protein) or applied for energy right away (sugar), it doesn't matter if you only eat protein, if you just lie on your back all day, cause it'll turn into fat. Of course there's a requirement for certain amounts of different building blocks, but that requirement is most often fulfilled regarding people who live in the western parts of the world and their main problem is not that they eat the wrong type of thing, but that they eat too much compared to how much they need.

I heard that Michelle Obama had a campaign against child obesity and then SHE GOT FLAMED FOR IT? O.o
How can people think such a campaign is a bad thing?
Especially in a country like USA!
I also can't believe that they serve unhealthy food in american schools. It just feels so weird. School should set good examples, not encourage people to eat even more fast food. :/
