Harvey Smith is lead designer, so it should have some similarities to Thief and Deus Ex, and Raf Con-something, who was on Dark Messiah, is in on it too. Looks a lot like City 17, so I bet that russian guy is also in on that conspiracy. Looks really great, actually.

EDIT:
Some of the revealed magic powers include possessing any living creature (like rats, to sneak into places), making corpses disappear, teleport short distances and stop time.

Good, I ****ing loved Dark Messiah, played the demo a few hundred times before the game came out, did that little section of the game in as many different ways as I had tries.

Just bought this game, it's awesome so far.
Stabbing people is fun.
BUT THEN WE SUDDENLY HAVE MORAL ISSUES.
I... I'm not sure I can face the cute girl that adores me after slaughtering my way through the entire city in a revenge fuelled rampage...
I'm 10 minutes in and the guards are already talking **** about me and calling me a murderer.
I'm... I'm a nice guy really.
Choices have impact, check.

The summon rats spell is pretty damn powerful... I just took out 5 guys with its upgraded version 
The guys with guns are hilarious trying to shoot the rats and just ending up shooting their rat covered friends instead.
EDIT:
I think this game could've inherited more of the cool environmental hazards that you could use against your enemy in Dark Messiah.
Sure there are Walls of Light and other stuff that you can hack, but not much in terms of rock-traps or eh, spike traps.
But hell, that's just bickering... it's an amazing game. Badassering through the levels I come up with more and more ways to approach the situations... it begs to be replayed several times over.

This game has dropped to £20 from £40 in 2-3 months, it's very likely that I too will pick this up for christmas.
