Timeline? Story synopsis?
I wanna expand my Serpent Cult fan-faction with some history and stuff, and it's a H6 faction. However, I have absolutely no idea what's been going down in H6.
Is there something akin to the old H5 Timeline for H6?
Also, I would appreciate a story synopsis of H6 events so that I can understand what's going on.
Does any of the like exist?

Not directly..
There is the purposed play order that Capheus has posted a while ago.
But I am thinking of creating such a timeline for our Czech site.
In connection to teh timeline
You plays aproximatly about 564 YSD (2nd BME) and some time befor.
The problem in Heroes VI is that unlike Heroes 5 there is not a linear story. And unlike Heroes 3 there are no independent stories. eache story is somehow conected to the other but basicly there are 3 storilines
1 The cult of the dead connected to Sveltana, and it is present in the Scenario Heart of nightmares and in the Necro and Inferno campaigne
2 The War of the duchies Which is seen in the Heaven and Sanctuary capaigne
3 The hiden war between the angels and the faceless which is explained in the Inferno and necro capaigne and the epilogues
The Stronghold campaigne is more or less individual story and has only a small connection to the Necro and Sanctuary one.

Which could well give the serpent cult credence as an individual story or something behind the scenes. After all the faceless while not in a faction(yet anyway) and not being really visible, they have a major role in the events of H6. And there are still factions that have yet to appear which could possibly have interaction or secret wars with them like sylvan, dungeon, dwarves, even academy.
Edit:
Someone at CH had posted a summary of the H6 missions, their order and how they interlink with each other. Ceph should know.

The Naga faction is not mentioned in the old timeline (let alone Dwarves)....so even though the H6 storyline takes place in 564 YSD, it really has it's own dramas and storyline that aren't really focused on the timeline (apart from the 2nd moon eclipse)....I mean the timeline doesn't take about duchy feuds, sibling rivalry, etc.

Well the timeline is a timeline.. A summary of the worlds history not a list of detailed infromations about it..
The story of CoH is also not mentiond, or very briefly

I do not know what is in the pipeline ;-), unlike you so I can judge only based on my gaming experience.
Btw.. little OT, But do you have any info if the new TCG has a canonical story? I noticed a Campaigne buton in the menu.

Pavel Griffin is slain while defending his lands from a demon onslaught. His sister, Sveltana, attempts to conserve his soul and traps it in the Griffin familial sword, but an Angel steals the sword and soul away before she can reclaim it.
Counseled by Angels in the impending war against the demons, Emperor Liam Falcon posts a decree enabling Duke Gerhart of the Wolf duchy to exterminate Orcs in the Empire. Duke Slava, Pavel's son, retaliates in solidarity with the Orcs, and the Dukes' bickering forces the Archangel Uriel - Michael's brother - to intervene. Uriel decides that Slava's eldest daughter, Irina, is to be betrothed to Gerhart to force a lasting peace. A decade passes, and Sandor learns that Irina has been imprisoned in the Wolf Duchy's jails for injuring Gerhart. He rouses an army of Orcs to free his half-sister, and the renegades flee to the Jade Ocean, where Sandor leaves Irina in Hashima and departs. Irina quickly befriends the native Naga and assists them in destroying a Wolf trading port, before discovering she is pregnant with Gerhart's child.
Gerhart accuses Slava of orchestrating Sandor's attack, and the two dukes are called before the Emperor, where Slava's daughter Anastasya - Uriel's pupil and lover - kills Slava with a concealed knife before the court. Anton is crowned Duke, but the inquisition tries to force a confession from Anastasya, fearing she is in league with the Faceless; Anton elects to euthanize his sister before she can be tortured. He learns that Jorgen - one of Slava's former advisers - is an undercover Faceless, but not Slava's killer, while Anastasya is resurrected by Sveltana as an undead. Resolving to learn who manipulated her into slaying her father, she frees Jorgen from the inquisition before traveling onward to Heresh with her aunt. Meanwhile, Kiril finds himself abandoned in Sheogh by his mentor, the Archangel Sarah, with the soul of a demon prince sharing his body. Desperate to expunge the demon, he pursues Sarah as a renewed demon invasion begins.
Sveltana is kidnapped by Anastasya's rival, Miranda. Suspecting her of Slava's murder, Anastasya kills Miranda, and she explains that Anastasya was controlled with a comb empowered by Faceless magic. Irina ransacks the Wolf duchy, slaughtering Gerhart, and both she and Sandor devote their resources to the eradication of the demons. Michael dispatches Anton to assist Gerhart against the Naga, but Anton soon learns the Duke has already been killed. Using the comb, Anastasya enters the mind of her betrayer: Uriel, who had sought to use her soul to reincarnate his mother. Enraged, Anastasya destroys Uriel's mind, and both he and Emperor Liam are slain in battle, leaving Anton to eliminate the remaining demons. Kiril finally apprehends Sarah, who reveals she sold Kiril's soul to the demons in order to cripple the Faceless by destroying their repository of knowledge; Kiril usurps the repository and frees himself of possession, while Sveltana discovers that Pavel's soul was used to resurrect Michael.
With the demons overcome, Michael appeals to the Griffin heirs to assist him in ending his war against darkness. If the alignment of the player's chosen heir is Tears, the heir rejects Michael's calls to arms and leads armies against the Angels, alongside Cate. Michael is killed in battle and Cate succeeds in sending the remaining deceased Angels' souls to Elrath, but the ritual ultimately results in her death. Alternatively, if the heir's alignment is Blood, they launch an offensive against Cate, sponsored by Michael, and succeed in slaying her to apparently prevent the impending conflict.
In both instances, the Griffins lament Cate's death and bury her with Slava, while Jorgen conspires with the Dark Elf Raelag to instigate the war against Elrath in the wake of her absence.

Eh, Dragon Knight of Malassa? They dedicate themselves to deities? I thought they were all like, intergalactic justice rescue squad that slays demons for Asha.
INB4 Sailor Moon Dragon Knight squad where every member is dedicated to one Dragon God and is coloured accordingly.

but Dragon Knights seem to be extremly rare and powerful, so i'm guessing there is just a handfull of them out there

But on the other hand, both epilogue endings are the same copy/paste texts, so I guess proper tear/blood endings are another things in HVI, which were never done.
PS
Timeline for HVI is nearly the same as for HV. There are few changes/retcons here and there but nothing important.
HVI takes place in year 564. Dark Elves are around since 540 YSS - it's when Cate slibings were killed by elves during Elven-Human war, caused by Emperor Liam and Elven king Arniel.

But both Naga and Dwarves were quoted as being among the original races created by the Dragon Gods in the Myth of Creation, so they have been there all along, even back from H5.

Yes the Dwarves and Naga have been there all along (elemental dragons of fire and water) but what I mean is that their history is omitted from the timeline e.g. the timeline mentions how the Orcs are created and how the Dark Elves came about, even how Necromancy developed, but Dwarves & Naga....nadda (nothing)!

Well this is logical.. if you have noticed the story of the ubiworld is very "Heaven focused" And from this fact most of the information is based on their historical experience..
The heaven faction had a lot of interaction with the Elves and Wizzards. So they do know a lot about the birth of darkelves (they helped to create them) and about all the fractions based on the wissards (like necromancers and orcs..).
Unlike these, The dwarves were not alais or commonly in contect with them so they do not know much about them, similar to the naga, who live in a very far reagion...
