How to add a new creature£¿
I have some idea to create a new creature in the WOG£¬but how to add it£¿Defs and some other things have been well.
I am only want to add a new neutral one.

You have to download the whole thing. It is just a config file that says how many total creatures there are though, so you could easily make it yourself. It should be in your data folder.

I can't find the amethyst.cfg that I can't use this to add a new creature.Although I have downloaded the Era 1.8.
If I download the amethyst.dll,how can I use it?
By the way,can I use the amethyst.dll in SOD?Like HoTA?

What is the purpose of asking same question again and again when you can just download covenant town and see how amethyst and corresponding text files are used in?
amethyst.dll
Of course it can't work on SoD, nothing from this forum works on SoD.
@Kegolo: tinypic.com for your covenant will gonna vanish in a few weeks-one already gone-, if your town is now in wog links, at least use imageshack or your thread will become a ghost.

You can create a new town without change the Conflix town?

The point of my town was to have the switch be optional. It isn't too hard to do, just a lot of name switching in memory. HoTA has the advantage that you can play Cove vs. Conflux, otherwise my method is just as good I would say. And open source

I have created a creature and named in CRTRAIT0.TXT and CRTRAITS.TXT£¬but I can't use it in WogEra£¬it named ¡®null¡¯.Why£¿

well use some ancient universal audio converter would be my bet. 82m seems to be some old wave-type sound format (by wave-type I mean the sound is probed and quantised but still describes wave directly unlike MIDs MODs and some other old formats using common or embedded sampling palette - i wouldn't bet on XM or CHIPTUNE but they may be also more similair to mid/mod than wav). The today common used non-compressed wave -type format is of course WAV itself .

Simply rename extension wav to 82m, works 99% of time.

Well it shouldn't but they work... Thank the Ancients HoMM3 makers used nice libraries for pictures and sounds. There are two unrelated PCX formats for example - one used in original H3 and one from ZSoft - and both works in mods, while it seemed only first would work (the mods using ZSoft's ones were impulse to implement ZSoft PCX loading in VCMI).
So if most wav files work after changing extension to 82m - it's good (however it may not work on other games wanting this format - but we limit actions only to H3 so it's good). Did anybody identified the pattern which ones WAVs do not work? Anybody thanks for the answer - I have to try this too.
