Definitely I will not buy it.
Price is not a problem. DRM is. Too many times when I wanted to play SINGLE PLAYER game servers were down (Pirated version worked every time). Ubisoft pissed me so much, that I will never again buy anything form them. It's so sad that Heroes brand is on their hands.

Even if I had the game, I'd say no.
As said before, it's overpriced and the vanilla game still unfinished, with bugs and such.

I still haven't bought the vanilla, so the DLC is naturally out of the question. I'm assuming it will be a part of the complete or gold edition that will come out some time in the future. And I might get that, if H6 is a decent game by that point...

I'll buy it...
some day, when the price drops at least to a half of what we see now. 10 euro for a campaing (and some minor stuff like the artifacts etc)? Sorry, I'd rather spend a few more and buy a whole new game...

Skimming the thread title, I read "Do you wish to pirate..."
But yeah, I probably won't buy this.
Seems kinda counterproductive to purchase DLC for a game I don't even have yet.

considering the average quality of the vanilla campaigns, there will be little difference in enjoyment whether it's one map or five. (unless it's build-up really well like Anastasia's campaign)

I'm not certain who wrote Anastasia's Campaign.
However, it is certain that Marzhin wrote the Legends of the Ancients mods for Heroes V.

No, I'm definitely not going to pay for this DLC as there is no interesting content for me. If only it contained a new faction, I would have started thinking of a purchase...

No - i purchased H6 and was dissapointed with it's campaign - story was ok but missions themselves take forever. That's why i still haven't finished that.
When i will go back to H6 (sometime in future, after patches expac's etc. i defenitly will) i intend to finish original first. Also Ill wait for expansions for this game if they come at all - or until price drop.
If not ill stick with original. Also i'm not huge on Crag Hack (i much rather see Academy). So for these reasons i think ill give it a skip for now.

My problem with them adding all these things such as new neutrals (potentially) and new armour sets, is that these things don't go into a pool of items that may be used to create new multiplayer maps. With that what I mean is, if they had a form of a random map generator, and buying the DLC would add these things into the variables that created the map, that would be awesome! But so far, these things will only be available inside of the DLC, nowhere other than that (as this is all the info that has been revealed). However, if they announce more things coming with the DLC, then I'll be a little happier. Either way, I'll buy it. I've invested this much money into the game, and I already have got my moneys worth out of it. Won't hurt me to throw money at Limbic now

I voted maybe, a very small maybe. As stated before, the writer of the campaign has put out excellent work in the past. The campaign (considering how he waited to put Crag Hack in it) could be excellently written and exceptionally engaging. If the current team proves competent in this area, I would not hesitate to support their efforts to improve the game as a whole. However, I would have to hear very VERY good things about it before even considering this, as 10 euro is a foolish price to place on a single campaign for a buggy game that many paying customers are not pleased with. After all is said and done, the price is more of a slap in the face than anything else - it appears that Ubisoft has not learned from their mistakes.
Edit: I would hope that these missions take forever. I would not pay for a few small maps that can be completed in a couple of hours. The map design of the previous campaigns was beautiful (though I thought the story lacked any real character development).

Here are some of my reasons for not buying it:
- The DLC is simply overpriced. The vanilla game didn't cost very much here (Romania). I got my Collector's Edition as a gift, but it was about 46 euros initially (less than many standard editions of other games). However, one campaign and a few artifacts are worth 5 euros at best. It's safe to say there's not gonna be a new faction. Ubisoft would've made sure to mention that. They're also probably overestimating the play time. Veterans will most likelt finish the campaign in less than 8 hours.
- I remember quite clearly when Erwan said they'd release FREE DLCs. This lie and many others made me doubt Ubisoft even more than I already did. They made a lot of promises and didn't even fulfill a third of them. So the bad image they've made for themselves ever since the game's release is another reason for not buying this "add-on".
- Ubisoft's focus is on the fans' money, rather than the game's completion. Instead of directing funds towards patching/fixing, they've decided to invest in this DLC. It's painful to watch people throwing their (or their parents') money at Ubisoft "to support" the HoMM franchise. I guess Ubi's whole attitude is what's bothering me. They should look up to CD Projekt who have gone out of their way to please their fans.
- I'm not convinced the storyline will make up for it anyway. It's true that H6's story was better than H5's, but it was still just above average.

It's nothing wrong with long campaign overall, but individual missions that take for months and months (ingame ofc). You can have long campaign consisting of many shorter more dramatic and dynamic missions, as opposed to 5 long ones that last till you build 999 Seraphs in army. Seriously, at the end of some of these missions i forgot what they were all about in the beginning. Most of action was just running around, collecting troops and flaging castles, that AI just took back next turn - I know some of you like that, endless cat and mouse game untill armies rise to "epic" proportions - but me, i like shorter (yes even scripted) missions, that have unique game play elements.
That's why i really hope Crag Hack DLC delivers shorter missions that original has. (can still be long campaign)
