EDIT:
So, do we really start travelling? Or we are still in camp? Kinda confused here.
And, I did that stuff hoping to level up my destruction magic. Will Berny manage the levelling? Or its up to us?

I was on the assumption we were in camp, getting ready to leave. But most of the group checked in and berny hasn't been making any noises about important stuff happening 'today', so I jumped to travelling. I may need to edit later if berny did have something planned. >.> Which is why it's a throw-away encounter.
I assume berny's doing level-ups.

There is no real "level-ups". You just get better at stuff you do. It's not based on numerical goals or anything.

I suppose its stone. Never remembered any bridges to towns made with wood in game.

No, but I'd imagine it would be far more lore friendly, plus I never liked the idea of perfect stone bridges around Whiterun, while her walls look like as if the town's been sacked a dozen times
