Yeah, we're the worst friends or best enemies. Not sure which one. Depends from the point of view I guess ^^ Though I only recently (by which I mean 5 or 6 months ago, lol) made him play HoMM with me

For some reason, Heroes doesn't seem to want to start for me atm. (My com's graphic card is crying for aid). So I may be a little late with my match, could friday possibly be ok Locksley?

Hi Seddy!
I can play in Friday and suggest that we start around 12.30 (GMT+1).
Because it would be best if the game ends before 15.00 but it's ok to play until 17.30-18.00 or so if you can't start as early as 12.30. (But Friday evening/night is not possible because of family and/or friends.)
If your graphics starts to function again or you get access to another computer I can also play:
Thursday: until 16.00
Wednesday: until 16.00, and after 21.00
Tuesday: all day and all night
That's when I'm gonna practice.

That's today. It'll start 4 hours from when this was posted and end 4 hours after that.
I hope you setup your profile with the proper timezone settings though. Otherwise you could just use Google, you can probably figure it out.

I actually updated the drivers today, and they seem to work now. I'd happily go at it this thursday, let's say around 13? (I'm Swedish so same timezone) . I gotta say, going up against a finalist when I have only played a single PVP match in heroes 6.

It's not only the same time zone, it's the same county! Torsdag kl 13 låter bra.
You don't have to be too afraid of my fabled finalist skillz though. I have only had time for playing campaigns and hot-seat matches against my brother (that makes it hard to see too many new tricks) until 6-7 weeks ago (that's when I completed my studies) so I think me reaching the finals showed that anything can happen.

Yeah yeah to say nothing of my charasmatic personality and amazing commentary...
I mean come on. Sure i may get more views than you AT FIRST, but I can't beat your 300 average view per heroes vid. The grass is always greener on the other side
And I notice I told you to enter this tourney twice now, and you only start when you see results. Now you show your true colours!
...Besides, you'd NEVER get past the first round. You need your cheats and AI hacks to win...

I have only 1 playlist os far, which is me vs pancakes, but if I do well in the tourney i'll probably have enough video's to make an actual playlist.
Also, where is this thread of which you speak of?

Ooh a catfight!
Not a very close game apparently. The paladin played rather conservatively but the problem lay in the initial formation. It was setup for a nice fireball/blizzard/acid cloud and that can ruin games You had an exotic build there, you started taking all those blood abilities and for a moment I thought you confused your own reputation! The orc army did more damage than I expected it would against a paladin. Luck certainly paid off  But when I saw the griffins, archers and vestals lined up for a lovely all around slam and the cyclops turns his back on them to go punish the angels I thought.. WHAT IS HE DOING!!

The way I see it is that choosing blood or tears does not necissarily mean you'll use way more of 1 type than the other. You don't have to worry about farming reputation in this game mode unlike in the main game, so I consider the actual types of the reputation to be meaningless. I mean, if you want you can role play, but I think the reputation idea as a whole is rather poor as it restricts your tactical options in battle.
Unless i'm completly wrong and abilities get a bonus if your of the same reputation as the ability itself
Also, I felt the slam was unimportant. The griffins weren't much of a threat, the marksmen were slowly dying and his vestals were unused the whole game. Was it really important to hit 3 unimportant targets for huge dmage isntead of hitting 1 important 1 for small damage?
It's just like chess really. Is it better to take that knight who's on the A file, doing next to nothing, or should I take that pawn in the centre of the board, diffusing several potential threats and halting his armies momentum?

Reputation does give a bonus to its respective abilities. For instance a tears defender would get 2/3/4 while a tears assailant would get 1/2/3. Similarly blood casters are better at destructive than healing/summoning/buffs and the opposite is true for tears casters.
At that point neither target was particularly threatening so going for the weaker ones would just end the game faster. Plus killing weaker stacks prevents annoying guardian angel
