Hmm, I've been trying to play the map but every time I end my turn and it becomes the opponents turn the game crashes. Any reason for that and ways to fix it?

I think the AI's mind was blown trying to figure out which portal to take. Decisions decisions.. I never understood why that crash happens but I would guess this is AI-related. It makes the map unplayable for single player but then I intended the map for hotseat or multiplayer and did not consider how the AI would react in such a setup. Go to hotseat and set player 2 as human, that's what I do when I want to check the map on my own.
Glad to see you join guys, you should post your uplay usernames so that you can find your opponent easier. I have to go now, will update the participants list in the evening.

yeah i think the problem is that the AI tries to recruit from the forts that the hero isn't in or something. It's either that or they try to go through 2 one way portals at once...

Why not ban Ambush? It is a must-pick for combat, and everyone takes it automatically(well, they should), but this way, the skill is nothing more than a drain on skill points.
Out of Time doesn't work properly against creatures retaliating via Counterstrike 3

Conveniently enough the amount of non paired people is 4. This simplifies things a lot and if we manage to get 4 more people and hit 16? This is going to be an ideal elimination tournament. Here are the next two pairs:
arvisme vs Gameslayer989
Glacerenard vs Ozzmousis
Using the random.org number generator again with factions being (1) sanctuary (2) necro (3) haven (4) inferno (5) stronghold I got 1, 5 for the first pair and 5, 2 for the second pair. Which gives us:
arvisme (1) vs Gameslayer989 (5) - sanctuary vs stronghold
Glacerenard (5) vs Ozzmousis (2) - stronghold vs necro
As before, you can choose those matchups or reach a mutual agreement with your opponent, it is up to you. Since everybody is paired you can start whenever you wish, just make sure that you have checked the rules in the masterpost. Which could use an update, I will get to it soon.
Remember that everyone should have the mod, if you get any incompatibility errors then one of you does not have it.

I saw this on facebook on HoMM6 page. I've been wanting to participate on some competition for a while now since I'm in love with this game and I think I'm really good at this (at least at the way I beat my friens every time ). So this was an awesome opportunity for me to test my skills. Even if I lose and drop out of this tourney I think I will continue as I've found a door to these competitions

I think it won't be any problem - I've been playing Polish version on-line and it worked perfectly fine.
@Simpelicity - could you tell me the hours you're available so we could schedule our game? And, since my laptop is pretty weak and Camtasia wouldn't probably handle the game - could you be so kind and record this duel?

Infinitus had mentioned some kind of server incompatibility with his Russian copy but I haven't heard any issues from other players. If you want we could try a game and see if there are any connectivity problems.
Also it appears that certain people just can't seem to connect with a few select others while they can play normally the rest. If you end up with such an issue please let me know quickly so that we can review the player pairs.

Choseing artefacts just by the name is not ok. I don t know what all artefact do by name, the artefact mercents solutuion was better.
