The Seven Shards of Remembrance Fun Map!
I am glad to present you with The Seven Shards of Remembrance! A gift from Annoxiouse, one of Limbic's level designers. Annoxiouse started working on the map in his spare time to try out various stuff in the editor and presented the map to other team members back in September. Everyone gave some feedback here and there, someone started to create a trailer, others checked the text, others play-tested and gave balancing feedback. Eventually the map got bigger, new stuff got added and so on. This is not an official map and has therefore received no testing from the official Quality Control so treat it as a fan-made map and enjoy

So I finished the map today...
some things were nice some were not so nice.
+ some nice jokes (but only for those who fallow the developement of the game)
+ the map was nicely made
+ good use of neutrals
- Some areas were accesable even if they should not be (levitation over broaken bridges for example) and other were blocked map objects.
- The maps is to narrow and to long. It is rather repetive, which can discurage the player from playing.
Overall nice Fan map. Shows how hard it is to work with the editor but it still could use some work.

Nice map but unfortunately it is boring after a while. All "monsters" have "never flee" attitude and somewhere in the middle of game, you are just exhausted after battles with same 3-4 types of enemy armies.
There are no reputation quests, so one of HoMM6 "features" is missing on this map.
Few new combat arenas (city in fire or one necro theme) slow down game, so probably there is memory leak here and there (I guess it is because of fire and fog particles).
Also there are 2-3 texts in German (near underground entrance and at collapsed mine a.k.a. "dark pit")
I don't know it's me or the story character is Anton but we play Slava instead.
What's good on map? Enemies, bosses and overall story. Also few new battlefields and use of neutrals instead of faction armies (at least at first half of map).
Map is nice and story is interesting but because enemy stacks never flee, it is boring after several turns.
It's the same desing flaw which is in DLCs' and Gold Edition's "legacy" maps.
