Name: Bella
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Occupation: Missionary, explorer, adventurer
Appearance: Bella, despite her rough life, is a quite gorgeous young lady; long, curly black hair, tan skin, a pretty smile, piercing blue eyes… She normally wears simple clothes, designed for effectiveness as opposed to enhancing her body; often times, she will prefer a man’s clothes over a woman’s. A little golden statuette always hangs around her neck (the symbol of her religion) and she has a tattoo of a lily on her cheek. Little golden hoops pierce her ears and she has a small, undecorated ring on her left index finger, of which she will not tell anyone a word of. Her back is covered with scars, but nobody knows where they came from.
Character: Her character is quite fiery, especially when trying to convert others to her religion; Bella has been known to get into fights over it. Most of the time when she is in a city, she will spend her time at a tavern, gambling and carousing with men; she always likes to have a good time. Besides that, she has a strong lust for exploring the unknown, for finding new things and seeing strange sights. However, she gets emotional quite easily, and has a fierce fear of plays and theaters, as well as fire. Nobody knows why. When Bella is angry (which happens quite a lot) she will either scream at one and then leave, furious, or she will challenge them to a duel. An excellent knife fighter, not many wish to face Bella in combat, and most try to go on her good side. Aside from exploring, her passion is religion; she makes pilgrimages yearly, despite the holy places being hundreds of miles away, and she sometimes fasts for weeks at a time, growing deathly thin and frightfully pale then. Be wary about insulting her religion, as she takes that even worse than an insult to her own person.
Background: Nobody knows for sure where Bella has come from; there are vague hints and clues but the details remain a mystery. Brought over from the distant islands to the east, she was part of a traveling theater; despite its nomadic lifestyle, it was a very classy, posh events, with lords and ladies from all over the country coming to view it. Its main attraction was a play about the life on the islands; slave girls, harems, battles in old tombs, wars in the desert sand, daily life in the marketplace… All was brutally realistic, even over exaggerated; in particular, they seemed to have a fondness for beating the slave girls for no reason, raping them on stage, whipping them. The crowds loved the brutal realism of it all, not realizing that this never happened in such extremity. Most believed this is where Bella came from; at one point, she must have escaped. Rumors say she was helped by, and converted at the same time, a priest of the Lotus; once you join this religion, you must be a very devout follower. After escaping, she went as far away from the group as possible, and spent several years recovering. When she did so, she began her nomadic life; roaming the countryside, Bella never stays in one place for long, always adventuring as she looks for others to convert to her religion.

Since the criteria changed half way through, and I am not sure exactly what the characters were to be... I am awarding it to the one that was funniest. So this round went to The_Polyglot. Now..to the next round.
The challenge is to make not one, but at minimum of TWO characters. They have to be related no more distant then cousins..with the exception being direct descendants..ie it can be great grandfather/grandson or even great great grandmother/granddaughter. There is no limit on race, theme, or such..as long as there are at LEAST two. Also, both must still be 'alive' (ie if you make a great great grandfather/grandson team both must still be alive).
Bonus points for :
Dramatically different professions/attitudes/etc. However, both must be a similar genre (ie a fantasy warrior and a space pirate will get no bonus points).
Twins - Doesn't matter if it is brother/brother, sister/brother, or sister/sister.
Personality - The more detail of how they differ in this aspect..the more points..to a limit of course.
Since this is a difficult challenge the length of time will be one month. GO!

Race: Human
Age: 20
Biography:Son of the Memon family,who were famous in Thoran lands with their trade of carpets,home decorations,benches from the finest quality wood and of course-wooden statues.
He was raised in Tho,which was a city near the shores of Thoran,where came all the traders from the neighbouring lands.
With twin sister and a little brother,he was the chosen one to assist his father in his sea travels.
He have heard that there are many ways of persuasion and he wanted to get experienced in a number of them.
After ten trade travels he became very confident and thankful to his father for being able to excersize his skills in negotiations,making excelent offers both for him and the family partners.And he understood that there were many creatures,who only heard the language of money without any posibility of mind tricks.
Abilities:He has the ability to HEAR.That meant he was able to sense even the slightiest sound(even thought) of agreement with any of the proposals he made to the present and future partners of the family.So he instantly knew the exact possibility of making a deal and that meant making more money for less time spent.
Intentions:He thought about the days,when he would have his own family and be respected from all people he came in contact with.
Name: Pelea Memon
Race: Human
Age: 20
Biography:It wasn't easy to be the only daugther of the Memon family.With his twin brother and father absent for long periods of time for doing the trade,she learned to use her own way for communicating/dealing with the people around her.
Raised with all that decorations and wood around her,she studied the ways of nature magic of Thoran.Sometimes her little brother helped her with finding the necessary ingredients for making some smelly and green liquid.
She had made her herbal garden,her "all about magic"book collection and her hat.After that,she managed to earn some respect from the people who came in contact with her for advices about their personal problems.
Abiliies:She has the ability to DEAFEN.When she wanted,she could place a SILENCE in few meters radius.If you were in the range,you coundn't here anything until you went out of the radius.
She had many occasions and long periods of time to exercise this ability until she felt becoming a master at it.
Intentions:She thought of making contacts with other whiches, including help from her twin brother concerning his travels and potential meetings with the local whiches.
Name: Ray Memon
Race: Human
Age: 14
Biography:Still not mature in age,he felt mature in spirit with his brother Lans and sister Pelea.He helped them whenever they wanted help from him.He also liked to read a good book,but his inspiration was the Thoran language and the languages of the neighbouring lands.He studied for many hours a day even the slangs of these languages and intended to become excelent translator for those who gathered here from different countries.
His made himself a dictionary from the interesting words he studied.
Abilities:He is training the ability to SPEAK.Sometimes,when he began to speak,all conversations in the sound range have being interrupted in order to hear what he had to say.So he trained to draw and hold attention to him when he needed that.
Intentions:He dreamed not only becoming the best known translator,but also being able to travel like Lans and making friends,who loved the written words as much as him.

I'll be entering as a competitor in this round as I didn't make the rules for this round.
Name: Lewis
Race: Half-Orc
Age: 27
Bio: Being the eldest son of an Human-Orc couple, Lewis had to learn how to protect his siblings by any means. He was sent to the Fighter's Guild to receive the best training in the land. Although he has some Orc blood running through his veins, Lewis proved that he is the most honorable member of the family when he saved the king during an organised bandit attack on the castle.
Class: Fighter
Appearance: Lewis is tall and muscular. Even though he is considered a hero and a part of the land's "Mighty Seven", Lewis doesn't really like to dress up as one. He prefers wearing simple clothing and no jewelry. Lewis, however, has a number of tattoos painted on his body symbolizing his status and deeds.
Name: Wilbur
Race: Half-Orc
Age: 25
Bio: The wisest member of the family and the most educated one. Wilbur was considered to be mentally handicapped until he turned 10 when he started developing faster than everyone else in the family. Now he is the land's greatest philosopher and scientist which is quite odd considering his age.
Class: Thinker
Appearance: Average in size. Wilbur is always seen wearing coats and robes. There is nothing that makes him really stand out.
Name: Roger
Race: Half-Orc
Age: 22
Bio: Roger is the talkative member of the family. There isn't a topic he couldn't discuss or argue about. Roger is the leader of the Trader's Guild which supports the kingdom's economy and helps in fighting the corruption.
Class: Trader
Appearance: Roger has a thin, slender body. As the leader of the Trader's Guild, he has to maintain the classy look, so he's always seen wearing fancy and decorated robes and suits.
Name: Mathew (before); Shadow (present)
Race: Half-Orc
Age: 22
Bio: Shadow is Roger's twin brother and the "black sheep" of the family. He was acting like a delinquent since his childhood and always kept getting in trouble. However, as Shadow was growing older, his mischiefs have grown into serious crimes, thus making him a criminal. He has quickly become aware of what the "dark side" has to offer, so he joined the bandits. Nobody actually knows what has become of him and some even think that Shadow was killed during one of his raids.
Class: Criminal
Appearance: Unknown as he wasn't seen in the past few years. Shadow had a habit to slice his skin to create scars all over his body.

For me it was exactly the other way around.
Was fun but the constant "YOU'LL GET QPS...!!!" thingy turned me off.
It's not like you didn't encourage QP-hunting.
