If I do somehow get to 1000 elo with my Acamas, I guess I'll have to deal with OTK... which cards are good for countering that? I suppose discard fortunes?
Or you could buy Crag's deck. The price is kinda insane just to get that pao but on the other hand who knows when you will get it from random packs  The other three are all void so all good.
For otk you need sacrificial altars(works on your own units too) and cosmic realignment. Week of the dead can also help kill your units but it kind of sucks if you don't play Kelthor. Of course by Herald it is possible that the fortunes otk are based on will no longer be that good..

CORRECTION
Ariana deck was a major slug with constant shifting and changing to get to 1001!! I beleive that if i had started with the Xorm deck i would have progressed rapidly into the 1001 arena.

You still got to 1001 elo, but would have been easier with Inferno deck....

Meanwhile an update on my new account. Hit 500 easily, games only start to get challenging around 600. So far no outrageous decks spotted. Most people are making newbie mistakes like I used to so long ago

Can anyone tell me for what are Tormentors and Lacerators useful? It there any deck that uses them? Creatures that have Area blast and are melee, which means they will hit themselves seems terrible to me, especially because they cost so much that you really can't play them like suicide creatures.
And the art of Lacerator is so nice.

Good point, never really use them....
They only good for attacking shooters or flyers in back row....

hmmm, i wonder with the hero that has sweep attack ability, think coming in void, if the tormentor/ lacerator becomes a useful creature - the problem is in a rush deck which invariably a inferno deck navigates towards, your creatures may have strong attack power but their life points are hilarious...
what would be amazing would be a siegfried equivalent demon hero +1 health OMG!!!

Yeah, Lacerators with Sweep Attack and Area blast would clear whole fields. Still, Lacerators are 5 Might and 5 resources, Ravagers are 4 - 4, and have 6 attack compared to Lacerators 3. Even if I am using Sweep attack, guess which unit I will choose, and which unit is better for rush?
Also, +1 Health hero for Inferno would be way too overpowered for rushing Decks.

The only useful combo I found for them is Ambush spot + Tormentor/Lacerator
This would allow for maximum use and no damage to themselves

Phrias!!! so at lvl 6 resource you should have a juggernaught [maybe 2 ideal] and succubus combo - its situational but i do wonder if spending 6 resource at lvl 6 is really worth it - highly situational!!

Yes, I agree. Still, way too much for rushing decks. I guess it could be useful for Inferno Splash decks with Phrias.
