Update Error Heroes 3
Hi guys.
I got Heroes 3 wehn my uncle passed away and played it eversince.
Never thought about updating it, so it's still version 1.1
OLD BUT GOLD!
But I've been interested to download newer versions but when I go to Gameupdate it keeps saying I don't have internet and I should try again... BUT I HAVE INTERNET...
What to do about it? Other ways of doing the update?

UPDATE: OK, it downloaded and it's complete.
Don't see any confirmation though... It's ready now? And where can I find the details about this patch? About what (might) have changed? Don't see any differences on first sight.

A patch is a well done executable, including a nasty virus and several Trojans. You don't get any message after running it, but eventually will shut down your computer after a while and corrupt your whole system. You should have trusted 3DO update and keep clicking.

What 3DO update? The in-game updater doesn't seem to receive my internet as it says it can't find internet.

What do you mean by that? I've never had any problem with my internet so I cant't figure out why it doesn't detect my internet...
Any other options to update my Heroes 3?

You are fine, Matthewh. I am not a mod so that was my little punishment for resurrecting several years old threads to only add "yeah", "hehe" comments. To each one his methods

Im sorry, it's just I've been searching it one this site's 'search' but I get an absurd big amount of articles that are relevant... Could not find one that helps me.
That's why I'm so annoying by making a new thread.
Sorry.
So it's now updated? Is there any chance finding out WHAT changed? I see a lot of stories about new towns, new monsters, new map designer etc.
Onc again: sorry for remaking a thread. Just can't find usefull info via search

It fixes several bugs, but does not add anything as creatures or towns.
Thanks a lot. So heroes 3 hasn't really changed all that much since version 1.1?
Btw: the description does not really describe anything hehe.

Expansions (Armageddon's Blade, Shadow of Death) added 1 new town, a lot of new campaigns & maps and more stuff.
