Poll Question:
Heroes of Might and Magic 4 rules
If you are dissing on heroes of Might and Magic 4 you suck. Ever since I played Heroes of Might and Magic 2 and 3 I have been fascinated by the game. This will be the best game I have ever played.

Yeah I agree that there's no disagreeing...not with me.
Yeah, HoMM rocks, and HoMM4 will be great...could be better though. Yes, NWC is way cool, but I'm not too sure about 3DO...sometimes I really don't know what they're thinking.
...btw, who said anything about HoMM4 sucking? ...I thought this was a HoMM fansite. Oops, I forgot I dropped into the local, "I can beat you up bar"...my mistake.

Well... I'm not saying that Homm4 sucks (and my final judgement will remain neutral until the game actually comes out) but I personally do not like the creature and castle artwork as well as a few minor combat issues (retaliation at the same time, ranged retaliation etc.) but it looks like a FUN game to play.. just not as pretty as it perhaps could be. So, it is looking like a good game but please be mature and hold your judgements until the final product is out please.

How the hell can u decide if a game sucks if u havent tried it? And personally i think that Heroes4 will problably be a good game. Lots of new things to learn and thats fun.

Several days ago
I sent Lews a very long and detailed story of 3do and NWC. I'm thinking about posting it here. Though I don't think the majority will make any difference anyway.
One thing. NEVER confuse NWC and 3do. NWC are the GOOD guys, 3do are just a bunch of incompetent console-lovers who know nothing of marketing strategy.

I have a horrible feeling it'll be an anti-climax.. I really hope it isn't.. It's just we all have such high expectations and we are finding faults with it even before it is out...
So when it is actually out, will it stand a chance? After all, when you've disected a book, suddenly it isn't as much fun to read...

Yeah, I know what you mean - after playing a couple of maps of Heroes III that got sooo boring
Of course the same thing will happen with Heroes IV!

Maybe the game will be good, but I aint playin it anyways. And saying that somebody is a dumbass or something like that if he does/doesn't like something is LAME!!! But no, I won't call you a lamer or whatever. I'll just call you a sick bastard. Why? Primo - I am bored with calling lamers lamers, and I want to try something new. my fear and hopes
I have great hopes in that the game would rule! To me it looks very balanced and well done strategy wise!
And I don't ekspect any gremling ruch or simmelar loopholes as in homm3.
But but but, what I fear is that all this good graphic work doesn't work together. When I see screenshoots I love the details , but the overall felling is a little confusing .
As for exsample in Homm2 the town screen was very cartoonlike, but every building was integrated in the picture making it nice to look at, like all buildings belonged there! In homm3 it become much more of scene than a picture, nicer to look at in detail, but also more confusing to look at. But still some of the towns was very nice to look at! Now the screensshots I have seen is much more of a landscape, but with all the building shattered around!
I hope I am wrong , but I fell a little for the feelling of the game!

Yes Jondifool, I thought the same thing. Be quiet though, because people don't like you dissing H4... i learned that a long time ago nobody likes it when you do that sort of stuff.
Anti-mullet or whatever your butt is, go toss or something instead of sending me annoying e-mails... it's a waste of my inbox space.
