the gathering storm priest campaign
Hey,
I am requesting some help in completing the first level of this campaign. Oh on a side note I play this on champion and I am wondering how to complete this.
Since I have tried multiple things to get this job done but to no avail..
getting that first town is a real pain in the ass( I have never succeeded in doing this)
getting extra ghost in the ghost dwelling is a tough one too to get but managable
but no cash for alot of ghost+slow growth
so could anyone give me any advice on this (since the spells or ariana are not very good and she is very hard to upgrade before u get a town)
so any tips are welcome
(finished whole h4 original campaign on champion and some off WOW and TGS)
but this one is a real pain in the @$$!!

I don't remember but the key is sanctuary!
Don't attack to 1 lvl life of the creature. H4 isn't H3
So you understand their taste and fear or maybe rabies
Ok no now it affected than old story

If what I remember is right,you should take the Haven castle very quickly, or they will grow a huge army garrisoning the castle.
It's kind of using separate skeleton squads to fast take the Necropolis(I forgot which one,there should be two), than force on haven's castle, and I think that need a bit of luck, to fight Haven's army out of the castle.

anyway what gives 2 times giving crap information -.-
U start out with a lvl 5 hero with adv life/death with baic healing/occultism
your army consist of 23 skellies/ 35 archers and 5 pikeman
The first town being closest
consist of 84 imps 27 ghost and 75 skellies
(the ghost dwelling consist of 9 ghost)
and moving on to the next town there is a stack of 24 pikeman blocking the way
the goldmine is protected by 13 crusaders
all in all each thing will grow in no time
so the best shot i think i would have is to take the ghost dwelling
and wait for it to grow meanwhile flagging the wood and mill
and then either pray for raping the pikeman and get to the second undead town (since it cosist of zombies and skellies only instead of imps and ghost which are quite fast)
any of which requires alot of time
and keeping undead/life gives some heavy morale penalties
but i don't have a good force to separate them just yet.. need a town first
so now then anyone here with some good advice on taking this one down?

this map, champion mode, i dont think you can get a town at the beginning.
1/ in the fights with the elf & ghosts, you should keep all crossbowmen alive.
2/ recruit 4 ghosts to your army, move south to pikemen. in this fight, you should lost only 4 ghosts (& maybe afew skellies).
3/ now add all ghosts remain to your amry, move west & attack the gate protected with a band of crusaders.
That's it. After this battle, you will run & run around the map, fight weak stacks, gain skills & experience... until you're strong enough to get the 2nd Undead town.
