Well, Morale on Devils first round would be helpfull, as AI will almost always blind your devils. After that you cure until he stops doing that, and now hit him with lightning bolts, taking out ~3 angels. Given you slowed the enemy, fight is not too hard. Tomorrow Im maybe starting a new (gotta go for these extra 2 devils per week from castle), then I could give some screens

Biobob,I hope you have a sense of humour and don't take mine noob curiosity as agressiveness.
There was one player,who posted many screens with MoD,who used the admiral hat exploit for example.

Didnt use the admiral hat exploit I can guarantee, thats boring.
So what? I shall start over without better miths and allround? But then first month is going to be boring. With enough luck, youll be able to take the cave, Damacon is 90% impossible and you have no chance against Jaegar, given you hurry up.
I would vote for giving back +2, but starting at 1 which decreases early gains extremely. Also, I think it should be possible to afford allround with one blessing, so Id say ~400. Anyway, for Gerwulf you need around ~600, how are you gonna get that with a growth that meager

Is not sod map. In sod, you flag something, you fight something, is done, you never get back. This is based on revisiting same places and prepare for challenges. Probably sod players will find this idea boring, but doing same sod fights with same blind/quick sand tricks and exploits is boring as well, after a while. That's wog purpose, propose alternative options.
Adding attack all around was my fault, I wish could get back and never have that idea, it kills half of a map long time tuned.

One tip is to pay attentions to those Wind Mills/ Mystical Gardens, you can get tons of Mithril early game from them if lucky enough (there are 6 total near Palidinium). One possible mini buffs for MoW is all Wind mills/Gardens now have 100% chance to spawn 5 Mithrils per week (also Water Wheels now reward Mithrils as well), that means 30 Mithrils per week, not that bad eh?

Its actually very interesting, thats why I play it in the first place. New challenges are nice all the time.
But still, MoS should actually profit from its speed. Wheres the gain if youre stuck at Gerwulf in 4th week? What to do while you save troops for Jaegar? I agree allround is overpowered, but without MoS is a wimp in battle.
PS: alisapa, I agree, but 5 is too much. Im in for scaling, like 1,2,3 or 2,4,6...didnt know it was possible to gain from gardens though. I thought you got it everytime you visited a windmill for the first time
And dont you ever dare to say SoD ideas are exhausted. I guarantee at least 2 new battle ideas for my next map: ~Rise of the Sun King~...

I agree is all matter of micromanagement, usually I never take CB's with main, let them to secondary heroes (even full utopias with chain), yet I never found MoS to have dead times, there is still much to do around. I don't know how you can point to Gerwulf week 4 and have all CB's visited, all artefacts sold, leaving some devils in mines so it supports new recruits cost and such.
The final dilemma would be that if one is able to complete all tasks so fast, therefore he needs double bonuses to make it, how to tune the map so is still accessible to less skilled players (not necessarily nubs) without offering them too much of boost. Alexander the Great map had such features, you were rewarded if you make it in short time, but many emailed me their anger about those quest guards who don't want to open after too long delay. Bad idea.
And I disagree MoS is a wimp in battle, is has the speed cost halved and +1, which is a HUGE bonus during all the game. Speed is determining some crucial choices, as having to cast haste or forgetfulness, where first ensures you huge losses first turn. Try to start with another faction and see the dragons in utopia attack first, and this from first month.

What some do in their maps is putting compliant stacks behind more than one border guard, all with an difference of 1-2 weeks. The first one lets you pass for free, second takes 5 devils, third 15...
This system preserves balance and prevents dead ends. And yes, end week 4 there was not much more to do, I even had visited the blue-red guard already...
PS: Didnt realize the speed boost, thats truly great

I understand Bob plays in a different League, I am actually very interested in his tactics. He said he'll feed us with some screens sometime soon.
However, if you feel like going to fast in the beginning, really focus Economy. Visit every bank you have unlocked in the 2 weeks time frame until they reset. And seeing how fast you go, that will require some attention as you'll have plenty CBs available. Also there will be more heroes like Gerwulf, who require some brute force. For instance the hero after next hero after Gerwulf has 600 blacks and 55 Darkness Dragons. You'll need a solid stack of devils to sustain the damage. Fastest engagement of that hero, to my knowledge, is week 9 with 80 ish Devils, dunno if successful though.
and there will be more..
And yes, I am very curious, if you keep your interest in the map, how fast can this be done?

Everyone can Do this: Just wait with the flagging of the dwellings until you have First 5 cities, your weekly devil income will be 30!

Yeah, waiting for the right time to flag the dwellings (especially Devil ones) is important rather than just flag whenever you reach them. That's why sometime I choose ADs bonus to get enough Devils for battles without flagging dwellings.

The way we fight dwellings returned to initial, I don't want to keep the bug Bob found in, it is unpredictable at long term. I will not upload yet as I see some having fun getting devils from thin air (I did it too), but just for game play safe, it will be in next.

that is obvious, the challenge is to actually be able to delay the flag
For instance I didn't even think Damacon can be taken with 8-10 devils and some tanking angels, w/o attack and return. also 2nd town in day 7 ? No lightning bolt and 2 ADs +1 from Capital (not upgraded). what you do with castle turrets, those alone kill 1 devil in 3 turns...
You take some fodders but still 2AD and 10 Efreet Sultans to take down with 2 devils and no loses in a Castle..

I was testing MoW and declined wisdom early, because I know it will be offered again every 5-6 levels. Well, it looks like hidden skills ignore this rule, so if you fill all your visible skills, there is no guarantee magic schools/wisdom will be offered soon, which invalidate my advice to Ovidiu earlier. Been doing cheat code for level to test, Commodus already level 50, no wisdom or fire magic proposed in the first 18 skills.
Now, looking at the original script of hidden skills, I see it does a loop from 0-26 and picks randomly a value between. If value corresponds to a skill you already have, it does not give anything and rolls again at next level up. Which means, if you want 100% to have air, wisdom, intelligence, you have to pick them from university nearby or accept before 8th skill, because no hut is selling them.

While I have a great respect for your work and this map I would dare to suggest to not implement anymore new features. Will simply generate more and more problems and you might patch a thing here while others will emerge in places where you'd bet there are none...
The map is amazing as it is, with its unique characteristics, you might even say is a new game at times.
Try balancing MoW for Hell , if you feel like, and let it be ...
Ofc. that's me saying what I personally think at this moment. Is up to you and w/e you want and like. Make it public and share with as many possible. With the difficulty features will be available to everyone who once played HoMM 3 regardless of experience and skill.

I am not adding anything, only changed MoW bonus to hero level divided by 2 -starts after 10th level-, not 2 bars every 10 levels, which was exactly what alchemist gave for all factions. However, there is a 20 bars cap, so all you need is hero level 40 max. I just want to finish it, so far is working.
