I'll try what you suggest, but how can I apply this code to problems concerning the startup of the map?

When map crashes on start, it means some objects are not properly placed. WoG editor allows many tricky things, but this may screw game play. I started your map 10 times in era and only once it crashed on start, and because of this is hard to know why. If it did every time, then you could proceed to delete editor rows one by one until it works.
I know Aeris hex edits his maps, this is dangerous, did you do same?

The only things I did was disabling all secondary skills, which normally is very stable, as well as putting a few level 6000 battles at the end. Apart from that, I did nothing serious (besides using custom CRBANKS.txt for set-up fights in new environment and setting main hero Mr. Fat on top of an event, which never crashed the map...it came out of nothing) apart from creating a nice "saltire door" in the upper left corner...

Behind the treasury:
For example, for Biobob, see screen above. Mithril is placed all over except one square. If placed on that square (any object btw), it gives editor error and map then crashes in game. Why, no idea, it took a while until I found the problem.

No, if I remember well the AI growth starts with 3rd month or is minimal until that. Check hatred abilities, the chance to have one is much higher in last version, you will probably find them at each fight.
Check also special levels, I think with MoS is possible to do 50 fights before Damacon and get attack and return.

Yeah, I know these "bad spots". I have already spotted 5 of them in my maps. Sometimes you don't know what's wrong with something...
I figured out my issue by the way. It was created by some Scholar I accidentally left on "random". As I have forbidden all secondary skills, it made the game crash whenever a secondary skill would've been chosen
@tevez: Be sure to empty the huge water area right around your starting kingdom. I'm not sure right now which enemy Damacon is, but it is most likely possible (although I don't know for sure - when I started to play, an outdated erm was used, which gave much more miths - today a harder one is used...).

Damacon is the hardest of the pack, I hope it's possible to kill him early with new erm. But your troops are enough for sure

If you have attack and return he is doable before 2dn month. And Commodus should be able to do those 50 fights, only dwellings near damacon give 6 fights (x4 for effrets), then banks, a few in water with 10+ lighthouses, easy.
Other factions as MoE can beat damacon even earlier, 2 casts + a good lightning bolt x4 power will decimate him in no time. MoW has much more resources too.

50 fights before month 2 is too hard. Comodus have to fight every battles. If he has double movement, he will do easy. Did you defeat damacon before month 2 with MOS in hell mode. M1w4d7, Commorus only have 34 battles !!!

Moving on
She seemed so hard at the beginning, but turned out to be so easy:
Cast forgetfulness first turn (for upper centaur shooter), nobody will move out, send one efreet to attack lower dragon, this will trigger breath attack on grand elf, who will now kill ~70 devils. Next turn good old earthquake, send a clone in to attack the dragon again, devils attack elfs directly, will leave ~20, kill them too. Then he will always cast pegasi clones. Kill them with clones, but place them VERY CAREFULLY (means: at the side of the battlefield), or the AI will fear breath attack and fly out. Arch devils now move on to kill dragons. After a while, he stops cloning and implosions your efreets. Just ignore it, his mana won't be enough to kill all. Then you need to do nothing more, turnly clones will be sufficient. At the end, resurrect all, mana cost ~250.

PS: Is there any way to get through the cactus labyrinth in less than 1 month? I sent one hero in for testing, and after 4 weeks, he is still trapped...

Nice battle vs Selena
Cactus: reload autosave, cactuses will be placed randomly each time. It is possible to do it in 2-3 days this way.

Wystan is done
This fight was incredibly hard:
Forgetfullness first round, block 2 titans with 1 efreet, let the 3rd shoot the AD. After that, cast earthquake to destroy one tower (if you destroy 2 or 3, it gets incredibly easy, but I couldn't get it done), get your dead efreet out of the castle, while you block titans with clones. If they get morale, you need to resurrect as soon as possible (and the get morale OFTEN, VERY OFTEN...). After all his spell points are used to implode your ADs, you begin to fill the battlefield with quicksands, then break the walls. Now it gets tricky: While luring the walkers around, positionate the efreets in front of empty space, so that they can summon clones; also keep track of the number of clones each troop summoned: It can never be more than 3. While doing this (still blocking titans), resurrect your AD, then kill them slowly.
This was by far the hardest battle, but at least my cornucopias got upgraded.
Time for a break...
Greets, Nautilus
PS: I forgot: You need to upgrade efreets to 18 speed, else this tactic won't work (actually you only need 17, but I like to make sure It is needed so that the clones are faster then the titans...)

Hm I don't remember the switch option for Clone, unless you let them take skill pernamently. Have thought of that but never have the balls to try out.
Wystan can be varied from very hard to very easy, without Teleport the moment his Titans get killed and the gate gets blocked it's GG for him.

Well, you can do it in Hell only.

I wonder how many demons will he be able to farm before month 4?

Well, there are advantages to finish the map faster. Firstly, he unlocks banks earlier so he gets more mithril. Secondly, AI does not have the bonus he has in month 6-7, which means he needs half of demons one need in month 7.
The only problem I can see is unlocking all magic bonuses before month 4. Sure he will upgrade earlier the cornucopias, but the banks will not achieve the size needed to give enough resources. True is that the last upgrade, cast twice, is not really needed to win the map.
But there is arena, he will need to fight daily.
