The mod order can affect this behaviour?
Here is mymodmanager setup and the Heroes 3 HD mod settings and version.
As i remember, the difficulty settings should appear aft the map launch and before the the map begins.
Should i install anything else than HOMM Complete, ERA 2.46 to run the map corrently?
same as before:/ the Diff. settting screen didn't appear:/
where can i find it exactly?
Begin the map, severel window pop up (greetings, and the fraction selection) After that i can select the hardcore more and then the map begins. No diff selection:/
without HD mod, the Era crashed after i ran the map.:/
and with HD mod, everything was the sam as in your video, ex. the difficulty setting secren, it didn't appear:/
i tried to do a clean install.
precondition:
- win 8.1
- user has administrator rights.
1. Instal HoMM 3 complete (gog version)
2. install ERA 2.46 (download from Heroes community site)
3. install latest Tew 4 (version 4.3)
4. check the mod order with the modmanager tool (only TEW4 and below WOG mod enabled)
5. Run era.exe
6. select TEW4 scenario
7. set original difficulty settings to 200
8. set artifact as a start bonus
9. begin
10. get a lot off error message and the client was stopped.

if i install the HD mod, the map start normally exepct the missing difficulty settings screen:/
i really appreciate your effort:$$ I like this map so much, played all version and i played with ouch difficulty too, i don't understand why i can't see that settings screen:/

after the clean install (without hdmod), tried to open the map in the editor and i got this:
My video was made 1 hour ago using same settings as you. I use HD mod 2.5 and no problems. Do you download era from THIS, right?
Can you make a video from your failed start, the one with lot of errors? Or at least take a screen or errors and show it, please.
@Edit: your screen shows that graphics didnt install, thats why you don't get difficulty screen as well. The tew4 at wakeofgods is 17,5 Megabytes, you get that?

is okay. Open Tew4 with mod manager/SndVidPac editor, go in Data and open commodus.pac. It this works, means you have the graphics installed so should be okay.

Ok done. Sorry Adam, my fault. bersy released a plugin, era.hooker, 1 year ago and everybody downloaded it but they forgot to add to era package. And thhe last update ot tew4 requires this plugin, thats why the game doesn't work in your config. I now added the plugin to tew4, should be fine. Thanks for reporting the error, please delete tew4 using mod manager then download again:
