Heroes DEF second hand for modders

I thought, that this theme will be a good idea for modders (general for VCMI modders).

You started to make your own town and draw some buildings, then abandon it?
You prepared some new heroes graphics, but then abandon it?
You redraw some standart buildings?
You prepared town screen and then lost interest?
You have some graphics, that was made for mod, but then rejected?

Post your ready parts here, and modders will be glad to use your works.

PS This is mostly influenced by VCMI - because creating new towns is now easy, only missing part is graphics. For example, I don't draw.

I am old-fashioned. I never used VCMI (I did once, actually).

Could you give me some info on that whole 'new towns are now easy to make' thing?

Sorry for sounding noobish, but I just got back into M&M universe.

You can take Preserve Town (it's technology is very easy and good)

and make your town by analogie.

There are some guides:

Altrough they are not finished and clean.
So better go from Preserve and only consult to Wiki.

This theme altrough is about DEFs of buildings, not ERA.

There are a lot of new DEFs of monsters without small map DEFs.
So i'm not hentai maniac to draw/prepare DEFs for all this monsters.
And there is future possibility of adding diferent stacks to map monsters in VCMI (in WOG additional monsters and neutral heroes were generated random and didn't shown on map while rightclicking on monster).
So I throught, that for monsters without map DEFs there must be prepared set of tents unique to each faction to make appearance on map.
So on map these monsters will look like some camp (tent).

Is there somewhere some pack of tents, that can be used for monsters on map?

By the way, earlier on DF2 forum Feanor proposed to speed up town creation in HMM6 way (I didn't seen HMM6 by myself yet) and don't do around 40 buildings, just take cool picture of town and place some enabled/disabled (according to built dwellings) icons:



It's good, if you have some faction, and don't have time to draw/find/rip buildings for town screen.



Do someone can advice looking good arrangement of icons/buttons for standard HMM3 buildings?

I think, Feanor's placement is not ergonomic, and "Lev.1"/"Dwelling 1" must be replaced by "Upg.1"/"Dwelling 1+" after upgrade.

And what colours I must better use for not built/built dwellings?

This time i'm throught about monsters, mostly of Forge.
Are there any collections of missiles/throwed knives/axes DEFs?
Some monsters will require more than standart missiles animations.

Man.....a mod with that as a townscreen totally deserves new monsters..... Predators, Aliens, The Light Cycles and Tanks from Tron, Klingons, an ode to all things Sci-Fi....
